What is more priceless than having a shop full of vintage machinery in pristine condition? The knowledge to operate it, and the drive to put it to use.
There still here !
Awesome altogether. Using vintage machining tools to repair vintage automobiles is as good as it gets.
WOW!!! That is a great collection of old machinery!! I haven't seen a Sun 740 since the 1960's and the one you have looks to be in immaculate condition!
Thank you all
Great to see those old tools saved, your 'shop looks perfect
Thanks for keeping all these wonderful machines running and using them to keep the period cars on the road. Cheers.
I love those classic machines, besides being useful for the jobs they're made for they have a artful design to them.
Much like the classic cars, they have a use as well as an artistic beauty in them.
Doesn't Scott have one of those vertical smile adjustment machines too?
I remember him doing something with a head or some such thing. Looks very useful.
Thanks for the update and your, happy holidays and I'm glad y'all are doing well with the shop!👍😁
I always think I was born many years to late.
You are lucky having all that gear and its in great condition too.
The better you get at things, the busier you get. Thanks for the update and sharing the new treasures. Cheers!
A lifetime collection. Thanks for the tour.
Yes sir, those extra tools and equipment could not have gone to a better place.🥸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It’s been a while, good too see what’s been happening . Merry Christmas guys!
Everything is very cool. My neighbor's Franklin has that same little leather key keeper. He's to elderly to drive it now. So he's made me his mechanic and driver. A very enjoyable car. We've had quite a few adventures in it the last 3 years.
Love the tour reminds me of my 1972 auto shop
Hello from Columbus Ohio USA 👍🇺🇸

Merry Christmas, Gentlemen!
The Sioux Valve Grinder is a must have. They were made in my hometown , Sioux City Iowa. Albertson Company, I think they invented the machine.
It's so great to see another video from you guys. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Very happy to see you guys and the shop again. Thanks for taking the time for the catch up. Merry Christmas!
That Model A Cabriolet is so cool! Great job on the Zephyr and Rpu metalwork as well!
I'm so very thankful you boys are not only saving this stuff but using it AND preserving the knowledge of HOW to use it. Thanks very much. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Nice new old machines and cars! Thanks for sharing guys!!!
Wow! What a wonderful gift. MERRY CHRISTMAS
What a bunch of beautiful machine tools. One of the BEST vintage shops on TH-cam. Amazing stuff, guys. Great job 👍
Neat seeing all this stuff. Thanks for the tour!
Wow Jim! With all those machining tools, you should have the 56' Conti finished up in no time!
Great seeing both of you again 👍
A 1920s machine shop full of priceless antique masterpieces of engineering, that's something you don't see every day, you guys should be commended for preserving all that history and for keeping the old cars going.
Jeez-O-Pete!! Santa brought ALL the good toys to you fellas! You two must have been extra good this year. Nice to see another video. Cheers!
Matt, nice to see you've apparently learned to hang Xmas lights without breaking your ankle!
A real GEM....The whole building...
Season's Greetings gentlemen! Good to see you. Thanks for the update. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! Cheers! 😎👋🎄🎅🎄☃🎀🎶🏎🏁🏁
Glad to see you guys again
So good to see a shop still around that can still work on the old cars like that! Nice seeing all that old equipment still being in use. My old neighbour restored a 28 Model A sedan and rebuilt his own engine and would pour his own babbit bearings, my biggest regret was not making the time to learn from him how to do that before he passed away. All the best to you and your families for the holiday season!
So glad to hear from you again. Your shop is amazing, to see all the old tools find a new home and continue their usefulness. Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to you both.
Merry Christmas from Alabama.
Merry Christmas guys. I hope you keep the great informative videos coming in 2025.
Merry Christmas. I'm very excited to see all these new additions to the shop do work in the future.
Great to see you fellows again, happy Christmas and a good new year to you 🎉🎉
Merry Christmas. I just love seeing the old tools still in use.
They are back!! Those rumors of a shortage of plaid flannel in America's hat were off the mark!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Great to see a new video from you guys! Love your shop and what you do
Glad to see you guys🎉🎉
Missed you guys! Looking forward to seeing your next projects. Gives me inspiration for my "15 T touring.

Merry Christmas gentlemen!
Great video! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Hi Guys,
Merry Christmas!
Thank you for an update. It's so great to see what you're up to. Love the "new" machinery, priceless!
Wish we could see you more often but understand how very busy you are.
PS, every time I watch you inspire me to take the ole 26' Model T touring out for a ride. I drive it year round, even in the snow!
I wondered what you guys were up to! Checked in only yesterday when I realized I hadn't seen anything from you in quite a while and saw that your last posting was five months ago. Glad to hear the shop has been so busy. Fantastic machine tools and seeing an engine analyzer and distributor machine in that condition is truly mind blowing. Thanx for the video and Merry Christmas! 🎄
Thanks fellas. Great to see an update from Strong's Garage. Take care of yourselves and I look forward to seeing more in the new year. Mart in England.
SOOOO good to see a video from you guys!!!
Merry Xmas guys, long time no see
It's good to see you! I haven't see you guys in a while I was worried. Merry Christmas!
So glad to see you again.
I bet that lathe really holds down the floor. It's probably pretty useful for other stuff too!
You guys do your own babbitt? Used to build late 50s Fords then 4 years ago got couple of early 30s orphan makes, never had so much fun building. Steel bodies, simple, strong, proper springs etc. Bend it shape it any way I want it.
Yippee ! An early Christmas present ! A new Strong's Garage vid. Congrats on all the new "old" equipment. That should streamline operations. Love the projects. Especially that 33. Merry Christmas to you gents and your families. And Happy New Year too. Cheers 👊😎👍
I'm happy you had so much business that you didn't have time to entertain the likes of us. Thanks for the great update, and we'll see you more frequently (I hope) throughout the coming year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, gentlemen!
Happy Holidays, guys!
Hello, you guys have been busy busy. Have a Merry kicking Christmas. Good to see you going stronger. See you next year, all the best😊. Keep the lights on.
Merry Christmas guys

Merry Christmas to Strong's Garage ! ...Newk from Kentucky
About time guys...Thanks & Merry Christmas to you & families!
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New year to you guys.
Where you guys been? Look forward to seeing more videos in 2025
SWEET additions to the shop.
Merry Christmas to all .
Thanks for the update. Merry Christmas, fellas.
Missed you guys! So great to see you both, and to see your beautiful shop. The Christmas decorations are a sweet touch as well. Blessings to Ray for passing on his tools and encyclopedic knowledge of vintage North American automobiles. I imagine he feels his collection of shop tools couldn't have landed in a better place, knowing they will be used regularly, and lovingly cared for. I really appreciate your approach to these old vehicles. If you're not returning them to (almost )assembly line condition, you're saving the "lived in" look, making discreet mods and upgrades to improve performance and appearance, and getting them running safely. Another favorite YT channel of mine is Iron Trap Garage. Matt & crew take the opposite approach to a very similar line up of cars & light trucks. Probably better if you don't check him out, you might blow a gasket! Wondering if you've considered bringing in help for the videos, maybe enlist a family member to relieve you of the filming and editing drudgery. Wishing you & yours a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Santa Cruz, California.
Merry christmas from the usa. I'm trying to work on my Model T as I watch this video😊
watching this is so exiting to see these vintage machines and in such great condition
Grettings from Michigan Happy Holidays Everyone 🎄
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...oh yeah...yeah!
My Christmas will be better now with your update!🎄🎅🏼
Thanks for the update. So many neat machine tools! Ran an American Pacemaker 40 years ago at Harnishfeger - Escanaba plant. I remember it had a brass plate affixed "approved for finish by the war production board - 1943" . I thought what an antique! Now look how nifty yours is - would of loved the digital read out lol.
Very cool stuff. The more T stuff you post the better! Still learning the secrets to my new to me beastie. Picked up a 22 depot hack and have been really enjoying it. Added Rocky Mountain brakes as a winter project. Still have an oil sight glass to add and reline the gear band. Then I really want to put some miles on this baby. Put around 300 miles on it last summer in a pretty short time.
Good to hear from y'all again! I thought your wives had run off with the mail man or something and you were sulking! Great to hear that the shop is covered up with work and you're doing well. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to the Strong Garage. Like many of your followers we are missing your informative videos. Y'all have a Happy New Year from all you friends in Texas.
The yellow Model A is wonderful! I hope we get to see more of it.
Thank you for showing all these old, still working machines, which you can handle!
Wish you both happy Holidays🌲❄🎶🔔
What a nice machine shop set up. Great work guys. I enjoy your videos. Much appreciated being a 50+ mechanic and body work guy myself. Can't wait for the next video. Been keeping up on Jim and Scott working on his Lincoln bodywork. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you Strong brothers for sharing your Christmas Holiday Joy. I appreciate your gentlemanly nature and appreciation of the wonderful machinery and showing how they work. I enjoyed all of videos this year and look forward to what you will create in 2025! God Bless you and Merry Christmas. Warm regards, Blaine Halley in Santa Cruz, CA.
