I was sorry to hear about the lost. Congrats on 10 years. Transplant told my wife I would live 10. I broke that barrier and I keep on Truckin. I remember coming home and how grateful I was for every little thing. The taste of food again! The clouds and flowers! Over time I think I was consumed by my own troubles and forgot how good it is. Life is good, even when it’s painful. I try to remember the gift I’ve been given, get out of bed each day, and keep on moving no matter how hard it hurts. I also give God my first hour of the day! Prayer helps! Oh, dang. Well, that’s my ramble. Take care Jim
Brother, you have said things I have been thinking. It is so odd that this evening I had the opportunity to speak to a group of heart patients about this very subject. We have to keep moving forward not only with our gift of life but to keep the spirit of those that have passed. Frankly, I'm tired of going to friends' funerals. Thank you for all you do and how you have impacted this world.
Bailey was well known in the community, we all will miss her. She waited so long for the transplant, really was hoping she wouldve had a better run. She will be missed.
Sorry to hear the loss of Bailey. Self care is important. Your family is important. I appreciate all that you offer when you can. You’ve taken on a lot.
Thank you, Jim, for all you do. No apologies, we understand. God gives the hardest battles to his strongest warriors. 💪 Prayers for you and your family. Take all the time you need. Sending love and hugs your way.❤ ❤❤❤
I get it! Even before my double lung transplant in 2016, because my rare diseases are progressive, I've lost so many people - it's really awful. My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2 days before my transplant in 2016. He was dead the following year and was preparing for Hospice on my first Anniversary so I get the hardship of mixed emotion on a transplant anniversary. Thank you for speaking about this.
Jim you’re an awesome person and friend!! Love the content you make brother, but You have to do what you need and spend time with your family. You take care of you and your loved ones we are just happy when we do hear from you or see your videos. We are here for you if you ever need anything my friend.
Thank you for all that you do. I am 6 years out from my heart transplant. You have been an inspiration.
Thanks for the encouragement. Congratulations on your 6 years
Thank you Jim 🙏
Thank you for watching
