    Keep doing what you're doing it seems you have a good grasp of life. I'm a 36 year old schizophrenic and your handing it way better than I did at your age. The people who say your possessed don't mind them there miss informed, I hear how it's the devil all the time, they are just uninformed. At your age I was in sth state hospital all the time so your doing good. Keep doing what you're doing. Watching your videos helps me more than you will ever know. It helps so much knowing there are more people out there that have the same thing going on. It keeps me going.

      Its demons and a mental thing. You havr to get therapy but the root cause is the demon. Get the demon out and get therapy. Yes there is chemical inbalance that has to get balanced but the demon is causing it. Been trough it. U have to do both, science has been probed wrong many times. Go just once to a islamic raqi? He will read certain verses u will be suprised by your reaction.

I was thinking about you like 2 weeks ago out of the blue, and BAM you show up again. Glad you're still hanging in there.. I'm going on my 9th year of this illness and I've gotten used to it. She won't stay on her medication and I am trying to help her understand that the right medication will help her---she is currently on Seroquil and her doctor did prescribe her clonazapam, which is in the benzo family. I hope you are doing well and continue to do well and you need to STOP saying you re lazy!! You are NOT!! The amount of energy you spend dealing with what you have to go through and the medication side effects, be nice on yourself. :)

    At least you got some pajama's, they look nice on you.
    I had a rough week myself but I certainly don't blame you for getting stressed out at times, I just finished organizing my room the other day, I've been taking some time off from work to get stuff done around the house, it can be hard sometimes but as embaressing as it sounds I get through it by just having something good to eat, having a glass of wine, and just looking at what's in front of me, a shower can be a very therapeutic thing for me personally, especially if I give myself a facial or something, this helps keep the skin fresh and healthy too, but don't let that discourage you. I don't shower every five seconds, but I try to make it a habit to shower at least once every other day. This helps me improve my mood too.

    My husband has been in a schizophrenic episode for a year and a half now. He simply cannot accept/ understand his diagnosis. As someone with schizophrenia would you want a loved one to try everything they could to get you into a treatment program unwillingly? Will he hate me? I'm just so desperate at this point. 72 hour holds haven't done a lick of good.

    Thanks for another great video. I am a Schizophrenic and I am fairly neat and organized. I don't really enjoy keeping my room clean, but it's gotta get done sometimes. I understand your feelings about people making comments in the comments section saying Schizophrenia is demon possession. I get tired of seeing and hearing this kind of stuff too. I believe in God and I pray, but Schizophrenia is a mental illness and not demon possession. I hope people will stop making the comments about Schizophrenia being demon possession and stuff. Just a thought Jacob, have you ever thought about trying to Skype someone, I don't mean with the camera I mean in terms of speaking to someone through oral conversation, or does that make u feel uneasy, I just think its good to challenge the things that make you un easy it makes you stronger and prepared. Gradual steps would be the best bet for anyone just one step foward. Theres nothing wrong with feeling better being alone, but hope you can grow to feel more comfortable with others just so you don't miss out forever with friendships and interaction. You don't have to sacrifice all your time. I'm sociable i'm more ambriverted than extroverted sometimes introverted im just a blend between all 3 feel like i grasp them all well but feel more strongly towards ambriverted i'm more introverted but sociable if that makes sense, just think a balance serves every human well. Were all free to live our lives how we choose but you only have one life to really make meaningful connection. Either way im sure you will be happy with your life and hope you find a sustainable way to support yourself one day. But don't panic your still young :)

    I'm not sure if I've commented on any of your videos yet! But I am a newly diagnosed schizophrenic I'm 38 years old and I have pretty much known since I was about five or six maybe sometime in Elementary School when I got my first memorable auditory hallucinations. But now that I am diagnosed I'm trying to figure things out as far as how do I tell I'm in psychosis? I'm not sure if the pupils go small or big because I have caught my 9 year old hallucinating his pupils were huge! But I don't really hallucinate, but when I think I am in psychosis my pupils are very small! I would love to get some input to help me figure things out especially if I am dissociating instead of hallucinating, or just manic because I'm also bipolar 1, and very possibly BPD. At least that's what the psychologist said but he didn't put it in my diagnosis like he said he would!?

    I am a Christian (very dedicated to it) and also a Schizophrenic. I believed what people said that mental illness is either sin or demon possession for years. For years I rejected medical help because of that, until God in His goodness let me get so crazy that I couldn't ignore my symptoms anymore. I was totally nonfunctional with mania. I agreed to take medicine and almost all of my symptoms have gone away. I still believe in Christ, daily repent of my sins, and live for God. Thanks for your posts, they are super encouraging. Sorry for those who have told you you are possessed.

    If I may be so bold----for those here who are schizophrenics, why would someone stop taking their meds? Is it because of the side effects? Are they worse than hearing voices all the time? I am trying to help a friend but I don't quite know how----she will take her meds, but then stop and then is dealing with withdraw as well as symptoms.

    • @hellosalute3970
      @hellosalute3970 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a very good question. I've never stopped taking my medication. MY schizophrenia is rather severe though so if I dont take my meds I hear absolute horror. I really really dont like hearing my voices. They are absolutely not my friend... The side effects can be rather severe though. You get muscle restlessness sometimes and it can be insanely uncomfortable. It's literally your whole body.
