    Nice to meet you, James! I'm happy that TH-cam give me your "Easy Beginner Guitar Lesson - Play 5 Bob Marley Songs With 5 Chords" -- exactly what I need now. This morning I write search "как играть на гитаре реггей" in Russian with mistake (How to play Reggie) and find this Lesson.... Many years I write lessons... and now the time to learn guitar!. Many people know How to Do, but How to explain what do you do for beginner... How to teach - it is really a rare event!
    I send my thanks to you from the Negev desert! I wish you you the desire, the strength and time to realize your plans!
    I enjoy now to learn with this lesson and hope to play Bob Marley songs soon!

    Anyone wondering....GREAT VIDEO (for beginners and above). Thank the heavens someone did a TH-cam video just as if...you were paying for a beginners lessons.
    Kudos Drue James!!!
    Great lesson on learning bob Marley tunes (well...songs from Legend)
    ••• Afterthought: This is actually a nice way to Learn guitar...if you can play what drue does verbatim’....you can actually accomplish more from this video than a few professional lessons.
    ••• He even does the trick where you speak/sing the chord you are playing and progressing to. Singing the chord you are playing while strumming is a great way to “learn your way around a fret board”. I cannot stress enough how subtle this lesson is for beginners/advanced beginners.

    Found this really useful. It went fast but was simple enough to keep up with.
    Most you tube videos, I find you are for ever rewinding to see what being taught.

      This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "learn keyboard piano chords" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (search on google )?
      It is a good one off guide for discovering how to play the piano like a pro minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.

    Hi James, thank's for that video! I am a total beginner and was realy Overwhelmed, that was way to fast for me. It would be so great if you could make a longer video about all songs separated with slowly explenation and maby written down the letters or put some drawings where witch finger belongs in and so on. That would deffenetly make my day, cause I realy want to learn those Songs.
    Have a great day!

      I agree to disagree with you, reggae in my opinion is based on "feeling" just like the blues. Music theory will tell you what a robot will do, everything is in a straight line if you know what I mean. Playing without theory and played based on what you feel can break the boundaries of time, beat and tempo but still comes out beautifully if not more beautifully than if it was all written in a straight line.

      practice my fella! the beginning of playing the guitar is just the self awareness of how much time you have to spend to get better. THATS ALL, thats the biggest hurdle of it. You get better, faster and preciser on both hands fast if you put your time and thoughts into it. good luck

    • @Ihaveausernametoo
      @Ihaveausernametoo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I agree with Martin. I just had it home and played any way I liked for like 10-20 min each day for some time. Then it's a bit like riding a bike you won't forget it completely.

    • @ricpotvin8
      @ricpotvin8 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed, Practice, Practice, Practice... get your chords sounding good first, then work on progressions, start super slow, SUPER SLOW! Speed will come, if u jump to speed to quickly and it sounds crappy it’ll be locked in on that bad habit. Muscle Memory. And oh yeah, did I mention Practice, Practice, Practice... & Patience Young Jedi. ;)

Other than that which I think is important , I thought you did good and yeah it's cool , thanks anyway

    Okey so I guess I got that first one No women no cry. But at the Seconds "Everything's gone be alright" I don't catch the diffrents between the verses and the cours melodie, can someone explain that to me? That would be awsom. The third one irretated me even more, probably my english was just to bad to understand what he was talking about, so I got that first melodie with 4xG, 4xD, 2xC, 2xG, 2xD but then the rest with 4xC,4xG,2xD I didn't understand what was that for?
