Hi Amber, this is a lovely, chilled reggae song for the weekend. I so value that you meet every person at their ability level and provide clear teaching techniques. Have an awesome week 😊😊
For the A Chord, if you use your first finger on the 3rd string (G), reading low-high strings= X02130, you will definitely find these three chord changes much easier BECAUSE the 1st finger stays on the 3rd string throughout, just shifting from 2nd fret ( A and D Chords) to first fret for the E Chord. And besides, you will notice that the A chord notes will sound clearer, as opposed to the 'cluster' of XO1230 fingering. Try it, you'll see, hear and notice the difference with this fingering that I just explained. Cool Bob Marley song.
Love your tutorial! I'm 66 and just learning Three Little Birds as my first song and love having some strumming techniques to add to my practice. Look forward to another beginner video.
Three little birds 🐤 🐦 🐦⬛ 💕 Such an AWESOME WAY TO START THE DAY ❤❤❤ Your tutorial was a big help, but my own strum and pick style. This song is such a mood changer, I LOVE IT ❤️ 😊 Thank You Amber 🥰🥰🥰
Excellent tutorial lesson covering one of the most beautiful songs by the King of Reggae; also the presentation is very simple and highlighted 3 ways to play the song.....thank you very much for this tutorial. Also, I hope it covers No Woman Cry.
Can I make a request for you to teach us Bob Dylan's "Girl From The North Country"? I know you'd do a great video for it. I haven't seen anyone else teaching North Country with the detail you always provide in your videos.😊
Great lesson I already was playing the song but the pop strumpattern is new to me and makes the singing lots easier, thanks Amber for (again ) a great lesson
I'm going to give this thumbs up, a student of the stellar academy I already am and too bad for those who still don't dare to take the plunge, they don't know what they're missing. Thanks again, great tutorial with a beautiful rhythm,
Hi Amber, Bob Marley A Legend. I Love. Thanks for demonstrating the chords for this song. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the guitar, perhaps now I will give it a try. Thank You Amber. Peace and Love Always. ❤ Just subscribed ❤
This is awesome! 🤩 You are so welcome! Thank you for watching and supporting my tutorials 🎵😃 good luck with your guitar journey. Did you know I have a guitar course specifically for beginners? You can check it out here thestellarguitarist.com/course/thestellaracademy
You know stellar,. Id love to make a request; It sounds good that a beginner gets into the exact time the chord changes in a song. Can you please SPEND A LITTLE MORE TIME in those your little songs of chords (in place of the words of a song? It helps loads.
I love your suggestion, I do really enjoy singing the chords out loud when they are meant to take place over the lyrics. Really happy it is so helpful! I'll definitely continue to do so in my lesson 😊
Hi i just started seeing some of your videos and very helpful. I can already play some Chords and I'm trying to learn how to play Africa by Toto.. Do you have a tutorial on this and how to get better at bar Chords thanks.. Keep the videos coming. 👍
A second request; How exactly do i know what chords best suit my songs, if i write a song? And in the phrases, when do i likely have a change in chord introduced? Id love to play something for my songs. A beginner here.
This is a really loaded question and quite tough to explain in a written message. When you write your first song, I'd suggest keeping it simple with a chord change over every 4 beats. When it comes to lyrics, you should try work on not having too many syllables - so keep your sentences short at first, just to get into the song writing groove. There are some wonderful TH-cam channels out there specifically aimed at helping people write songs. You may want to explore that for some more guidance and expertise. Good luck! 🎵
@@thestellarguitarist it's somewhat different. I've written a lot of songs. But now ...? I've gotten into learning to play the guitar. Reason is ...I want to play for my songs. I believe I'd get around it somehow. Thanks.
Thank you I appreciate that...great lesson btw...this song crosses barriers...it could be a John Lennon give peace a chance type song OR a children's song
@thestellarguitarist This song was written to and for his son Ziggy Marley. "Ziggy, don't worry, about a thing. Because every little thing is going to be alright.'" Bob had a premonition about his death. 3 sparrows on our doorstep in the Caribbean is a sign of coming death.
@@thestellarguitarist not too many do and with the Jamaican accent... lol. Transcription is somewhat questionable. Lol. However, I do very much appreciate your guitar lessons. I have been playing for many years and wish I had someone like you when I was starting out.
@@thestellarguitarist I have a question. I'm debating which guitar to buy. Taylor 114e or GS mini . If you know what is better, I will be happy to know. Thank you 🙏
@@DJyos all I can say is I LOOOOVE my GS mini. I play it a lot. It's small, has a big sound and is light and easy to move around. The case is also super light. My Full size Taylor is just as lovely, but the one complaint I have is not about the guitar, but the case!!! It weights a ton. My honest opinion is that whichever Taylor you choose, you will be investing in an excellent guitar! Try both out if you can, which one feels and sounds better to you. Then make your choice 🎵
@@thestellarguitarist Ok Thank you very much, I really appreciate you for the answer and thank you very much for the lessons. You are the best on TH-cam 👑😍

hi what size is your guitar ? looks smaller but not childish or can you say the brand? Thanks Mike

That’s not how bob marly played, it doesn’t sound anything like reggae 👎👎
It’s just an interpretation 😊
Reggae isn’t strummed, nor are open chords used…. Takes away the soul and feel of reggae if done straight
This is just my interpretation 😅
