oh we had a few trees go down, but nothing major...see the livestream channel th-cam.com/users/stoneyridgelivestreams and you'll get more day to day farm action
I have one of these (green) without the backseat. And I have a camo 700 pioneer. Use both on the farm every day and so darn handy! So reliable if you take care of them. Can’t find a new one in my area. Sold out. I have 8000 miles on my 1000 but I’m not worried about it breaking down at all. We do 3 years and trade. Glad you all had a good time!
Back in the early 80s, we were riding Honda three wheelers and putting them through some tuff stuff. The quality and reliability of their equipment was pretty good back then. It's nice to see Honda has continued to improve with their equipment and not take shortcuts. Woooo!!
Hey Josh and Josh, what a great video! I am honored to get a couple of shout outs from you! Of course I had to blow a tire, for one of them, lol. Was a fantastic ride looking forward to more of your future videos! Thanks again!!
Thinking Arizona and their use of the golf cart. This little Honda would give those clunky golf carts a run for their money. Those golf carts are used everywhere in town and for errands.
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer that's what I get from his videos, but hey I never met the guy! Haha. I thought I saw Mrs. W in your shot but wasn't sure....maybe it was just someone else too? Good to know he is as good as you see him on camera. I was joking with that comment too, by the way.
2 Flat tire,,, no big deal,,lol.. Sounds like a foam filled or run flat might be a good accessory...Awesome video..How was your feet in the drivers seat,,cramped?? Thanks
Great video, is the new 6 seater like all other pioneers where you have to come to a complete stop before engaging the 4wd. I have a 700 pioneer that I love and that one you have to come to complete stop before engaging 4wd. Thanks keep up the great work!
Flats seem common enough to wonder about fixing them. Does it come with a spare, and built in air compressor or do you need to carry one with you? Probably not a big deal on the farm if you gotta walk back to the shop, but out on the trail you wouldn't want to be stuck.
I used to tell my guys in Afghanistan the same thing. “Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.” “If you see hippos, watch there ears. If their ears are twitching, their angry and may attack.” “Watch your sectors and call out anything that you think is a possible threat.”
Cody and Mrs W. were absolute salt of the earth great people....out of respect we don't just jump right in each other's faces with cameras my friend...we all work very hard and we were all having a blast. Cody and Mrs. W were a pleasure to spend time with
I thought you got rid of all the previous side by sides and got the ATVs cause there more nimble and faster to get on and go. Then you bought little Toyota pickups which are just as big as the side by side. They have a bigger bed and haul and tow more though but you can't take the people like you can with a side by side .
Great video! Question: how loud is the 1000 compared to the 700? I recently rode in a 700 and was annoyed by how loud it was. Looking for something quieter. Thanks!!
The downside is that you have a long wait to get one, and you can’t test drive them beforehand. Three dealers all told me that I needed to put money down and reserve one. They had none in the showrooms. I was told to watch U-Toob videos for the reviews. Not really how I wanna do my research. I still want to test out the 520. 😢
I guess it's tough to fault any manufacturer right now since things are selling faster than they can produce them. I'm sure if you ordered one...and didn't like it once it arrived..they'd have folks lining up to buy it. I can't see any downside to this machine at all....they've really put alot of thought into the 1000-6
This UTV can not take any load, in high gear, so if you have someone with you , and you are on a road, on asphalt, going up a very small incline you will burn out the clutch . Honda get your act together.
these are little work horses my friend...honda has other models similar to the X3 but we're in the property management and farming space..so we didn't test the zoom zoom models
live, learn and grow my friend, at the time we bought the kubota it was the best suited for our needs. Kubota is a workhorse...but boy is it loud and slow
I hear ya bashing this model....I'm 6'5" and I have plenty of legroom...the cab is comfy and the utility is awesome. Might wanna check out this model buddy...it's honda and that means long lasting reliability hands down...and better resale. If a person is too large to get in and out of this machine...that person should invest his/her money in a gym membership instead of a side by side. Again...6'5" and it's got room to spare...cab is upgraded in this model buddy
We have the largest trail system in the us. Very little Hondas on them. Transmission failure. Hondas can’t handle the bigger tires or deep mud holes. Polaris and can am dominate for power and handling. Honda is at the bottle for anything anymore.
Everything I've ever heard about polaris was bad. From breaking axles to catching fire....sorry but I prefer the honda over the XP 1000 hands down.....this is a trail/utility machine so be sure you're talking apples to apples my man
that's it buddy...as for your other comment...Cody and Mrs W. were salt of the earth great people and don't deserve for folks to speak poorly of them. They are honestly the greatest people and they both work very very hard. He's got a wife, 2 kids and a great sense of humor. I'm telling ya this because often times our perception of someone's personality on social media can be skewed by what other's might be saying. Wranglerstar and Mrs. W. were simply salt of the earth, kind and a joy to spend time with. I only hope they feel the same about me
This is about right. 5 years ago, John Deere was the best UTV in the world. 2 yearns ago Kubota was the best. Now it’s Honda. I believe this guy would say anything as long as he gets it free. That’s why I un subbed.
I do UTV reviews....you make the decision about your purchase. "This guy" is me...and I flew all the way to Montana to film a nice review for you....is that somehow wrong? "This guy" is here to help you with your purchase decisions...I think it's honorable. I didn't get a free Honda nor Deere...nor Kubota...I took the time to try and help folks make an informed purchase decision...seems pretty honorable to me. Why put me down for it?
I have one on the farm now and we're working it every day.....here's a vid towing and hauling in case you'd like to see it at work...please be kind to me...I don't deserve to be mistreated my friend th-cam.com/video/kqlxBTERvmY/w-d-xo.html

Awesome to see so much great TH-camrs together. I follow all of them for the last few years.
The green is the best it doesn’t fade out over time as bad out of the 3 colors

if you're out trail riding it would be a good idea to have a spare or patch kit

That's the plan!

Could have stopped by the farm while here in MN. Maybe next time.

Great video Josh! Nice machine. Honda makes tuff machines but I decided on the Can Am HD 10 Limited Max. Gotta have the AC and the heat.
Camo for me😍

Great video guys! Do they, or will they, make a street legal version of this? (From a Honda CB/Hawk 400 motorcycle owner/lover/restorer)
Do they make an Electric one?
no sir
23 grand? Nice unit but who you selling to?
