  • The Ender 3 series continues with another fast printer. Ender3 V3 KE was produced to meet the expectations of users looking for an entry-level fast printer. I also tested this printer from various aspects using different materials. Enjoy watching.

    So, what do you think about Creality Ender3 V3 KE?

      My entire hot end failed within a day of having it. Couldn't get past two prints with ColorFabb PLA. I got the big "blob" everyone refers to when the PLA oozed out & when it cooled it essentially welded the nozzle to the heat sink. Screws are loose from the factory & still get the WARNING KEY: 2509 SENSOR TEMPERATURE EXCEPTION. CS is very lacking, but today I got my replacement parts & installed them. Still same error & I cannot do anything on the touch pad. I've since found out that hundreds plus of other owners are having failed KE printers. The folks are Creality are really nice, but it's very hard to get them to respond to emails & there is no phone support in North America. I'm not calling them at the China number they give us. Now I have to wait til Feb 18th when they return from their New Year holiday. Even then I don't know when they'll get back to me. Can YOU help, perhaps? Thanks!

      @@Warpig0321 Hello, I'm sorry you encountered such a problem. I think the problem is in your Hotend. Because if there is a problem with the hotend, your printer's screen may not work. If there is a place where you can buy Hotend, I recommend you buy it and replace it. However, before that, take photos and video of the errors you get on your printer. Because Creality will ask for these before sending you parts. If you buy and replace it first, the one sent by Creality will be available as a spare.

      @@3DPrintingLab819 Yes, but I've already done all that. I got the replacement parts from Creality a couple of days ago. I installed the parts as carefully & meticulously as I usually do with any kind of sensitive machinery or circuitry. Still the same error message as I got when it died. They sent me a new & complete hot end & that smally circuit board that it attaches to on the X axis that accepts that large cable. Could it be something on the main board in the bottom casing?
      I don't know what else I can trouble shoot. I don't have anything bad against the CS folks, but I've had to go through the frustration of waiting at least two-three days between email response from them & even then they repeat the same questions & ask for the same pics. I have had to reexplain my issue several times. It's frustrating enough that many of these types of companies expect us to come seek help from YT (which is obviously a good source of info nonetheless), FB, Reddit & other social or discussion board media to resolve issues on our own. I'm pretty self sustaining, but when it comes to CS I expected more. I've solicited help on four of their FB groups, other YT pages, Reddit & another forum or two.
      I've just gone a head & purchased a Bambu P1S that won't arrive at my door until the latter part of this month. I'm not wanting to tinker with these machines-they are finicky enough-so I went with a more reliable type that will most likely give me longer, more reliable service. I still want this KE to work, though! Thanks for your reply & I look forward to any further insight you might provide.

      I am pretty unhappy with my KE purchase. Poor build and print quality for me.
      Whole host of issues:
      1. Gantry is far from square to bed. Screws holding gantry to frame are super short and easily stripped. 2. Y rods aren't secured - screws are too short at front allowing them to move up and down. 3. Bed has a ton of wobble. 4 . Firmware has frustrating things like odd places to park the head when you're trying to change filament. 5. Some hardware wasn't tight - poor QC or build.

    • @Kevin-wy8kc
      @Kevin-wy8kc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I gave up on it The set screw in the center of the heat break for the nozzle assembly almost never tightened properly show the last print I tried it buried the nozzle into the bed and just dragged it before I could get to it pretty good so I went through the whole process of realigning it took forever and I don't know I guess I was too rough with the motor or something for the extruder and that doesn't work now so I'm just taking it back the flashforge 5m is only 300 bucks right now Another thing that KE was doing if I paused it the bed wouldn't stop and get misaligned so maybe I just got a bad one or something

    This is my first 3D Printer and just want to share the things I learned that will help start out with a much better experience.
    1. Make sure the voltage switch in the back is in the correct position. (will keep rebooting if not in the correct position)
    2. Make sure your tensioners on the gantry and on the plate belts are tight. (will either code or belt will keep skipping during prints)
    3. Keep a couple nozzles (long ones, not the short ones) and a heat end available for spares.
    4. *The Holy Grail* Keep the tip of your nozzle lubricated with an oil that can withstand heat. (3-in-1 oil / Olive Oil / Vegetable Oil)
    Keeping the tip lightly lubricated will help prevent issues with moisture and filament curling up under the rubber cover and extend the life of your printhead dramatically!
    I was changing out my nozzle like once a month and cleaning off my heat end constantly until I started coating the tip of the nozzle and the bottom of the rubber cover. Now it has been 4 months after I started doing this and my nozzle is as clean as the day I changed it out. I can hit print and go to work and come home to a flawless print.
    Also if you want to do your own 3D designs, Tinkercad is free and very easy to use. Combined with Ultimaker Cura.
    Anything that has an overhang of more than a 45 degree angle will need supports enabled.

    Thanks for the review. I am totally new to 3D printing. I assembled the printer and did the benchy and in my novice opinion it looks perfect. I have only printed with PLA, Hyper PLA and PETG all from Creality and have found it super easy so far using only the setting that came standard with the printer.

      As the layer height specified there decreases, the lines on the surface become less visible. However, printing time will also be longer.

    Do you know how to change nozzle diameter in the klipper software i seem to be locked out from doing so,,,,thanks

    • @3DPrintingLab819
      @3DPrintingLab819  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can do this through Creality Print. Select your printer from the top right and click "manage". Then, on the opened pages, go to the section labeled "Extrusion 1" and change the nozzle size in the first line. Thus, your printer will automatically adjust the required filament flow. I don't know of any changes made via Klipper for this.
