1 inch image sensor don't lie. 3 years of waiting was worth it.
I think the iPhone 15 Pro Max is better with still shots but for video, the Osmo Pocket 3 wins hands down.

Hi - so what is your opinion now youve edited the video. On my larger monitor the Pocket 3 looks better in lowlight the colours are richer and the night sky nice and dark, but I don't know if that's just the pocket 3 exposing darker. Certainly on other reviews (Tony & Chelsea Northrup) the lowlight on the pocket 3 was noticeably better than the iPhone 15,
Exactly, it is much better, and stabilization is incredible too. I was thinking, why should I have a osmo pocket 3 if I can record with my iphone 15 pro max, but worth to have it
That Hollyland mic doesn't pick up any ambient sound. Pretty impressive but not sure if I like that or not. Lol. I have the same mic but hardly ever used it. Ok I hear more ambient sound once you started looking at the accessories. Congrats on getting the new camera. Can't wait until mine arrives.

Impressive. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is widely considered to have the best video, this is noticeably better in details and colours too. That 1" sensor makes a difference

Can you compare the photography on low light between iPhone 15 pro and osmo pocket 3? I think because of the AI, iPhone 15 pro photography will be better? Since I am thinking skip upgrading my iPhone from 13 pro to 15 pro, but taking the Pocket 3 instead

Do you think this was a fair comparison? If I missed it, my apologies, but you should've recorded in Apple log and graded it.
I nderstand what you said maybe after color grading and do many things that iphone files allow us to do in log the image quality would become much better than what i post in my video, but I think most of the people will just take the product out of the box and use itwith the standard settings and upload the video on social media.

Yes it's available.
for some reason every video showing the audio quality for the new mic just dosnt work on my work computers.. the whole videos audio is perfect except for when you use the new mic. it goes in and out and you cant hear anything your saying... some major issues there it sounds like.. seems like a glitch
These mics only record to one channel left or right. So if your laptop does only have one channel or the other one is broke you would not here anything.
You could duplicate the mono to have a stereo effect but would need to do in post.
The reason I guess is the receiver in the pocket 3 that allows for two mics. One recording to left and one recording to right.
