I am still working on prop replicas from time to time. (Yes including the Pip-Boy). This kit is not a firearm or airsoft, it is for display purposes only.

I bought chemical blackening agents from the Jax Chemical Company, along with paint to age it.

I would recommend getting two 16oz bottles for the aluminum parts.
