I went to the Princess Diaries movie premiere in Hollywood. Julie Andrews came over to where I was and went down a line of people and shook everyone's hand and said hello. I remember going home and saying, "Mom I met Mary Poppins!!!!!" I'll never forget it.
The first movie I ever watched alone as a teen in the cinema. I can't believe it's already 20 years old. It's such a feel-good movie.
My mom took one look at the making out scene at the beginning, and we didn't even get to see it until the third grade 😂😂😂
and yet, they accidentally let us watch Grease when we were three 😂😂🤣
My kids got me hooked on these films years ago. Love Anne

Rest In Peace Whitney- and it’s also important to point out its very common for public figures/celebrities to invest in other films by being a producer. Besides believing in the project they’re producing, it’s also another way to earn an income through the films potential profit.

Everybody loves this classic that features another iconic role for the great, multi talented and forever beautiful Julie Andrews and introduces Anne to the world. Julie should have been nominated for an Oscar.
Julie is such a iconic actress and Anne is a good actress too and both of them look gorgeous

The movie is so different from the books that its easy to think of them as two separate entities. I love Julie as Grandma in the movie.

Anne Hathaway had to wear a thick clip-in hairpiece, to give her hair a much bushier appearance. The hairpiece became known as "the beast" by cast and crew. Her pre-makeover eyebrows took an hour to apply, as each tiny hair was individually glued on.
Wish did not know any of that.
Anne Hathaway is still the same as she was in 2001, a very classy lady with a great down to earth persona.

Just me, I don't find her sincere at all. Perhaps it is because the person she portrays is the same character she acts in the movie. Just me. Come at me if you like. Still love the movie, just not her.
I hate to say it Love Julie Andrews but this Movie made* it seem like she had to change her beautiful big curly hair at the time and it just wasn't going to be accepted by society. I never will get over that. Like she couldn't have been pretty with kinky natural hair. That's screams the R word*.
True but even now when they are royal they have their hair straightened..
And like them all became too vulgar and non elegant
