Annie, as a retired teacher I find your style quite energetic and effective. The tones and visual versus actual sound is confusing unless a teacher like you comes along! Thanks so much. My heart is STILL up in the white cloud forest on Son Tra where I lived for two tours "back in the day." I LOVED the rust-legged duoc langurs, macacs, birds, Axis deer, mongoose, and even the snakes. The wild boar were a bit "inconvenient" at times, though. I am obsessed with revisiting my emotional home!

these are good lessons. what will be helpful for us viewers is if you make a playlist of your lessons. that way , we can continuously view them in order. and we wont need to search for the next lesson

When you do the hand gesture for the tone going up or down, it's misleading. Because even if the tone goes down, it starts at a lower tone than the highest pitch the up tone reached. So when you do the downward tone gesture, you must initiate the downward motion from a lower height.

at 3:30, I guess "nghin" = 1000 VND? (i.e., in the green text box 100 nghin=100,000 VND) or, does "nghin" simply mean 1000? I'll have to learn the numbers...

nickgold4111 or you can say "BÉ ƠI".. if that girl i really really young ... that makes u more acttractive to the young girls... or when you put the move on her.but it depends on who u talk with..be careful with this.word . dont say to old persion. u could say if u wanna show your impoliteness to others... BÉ= BABY in english.. Ơi... is the suffix. added at the end of the person's name. good day bro

Why did you call her 'em' at 03:21 ? She's clearly older than you, I'd have thought 'chị' would have been appropriate.

all people may be stupid sometimes, why say Vietnamese are, just because they don't expect foreigners to speak their language since not many foreigners speak Vietnamese at all, and if they think they do they usually pronounce it far from what it's supposed to be? Vietnamese pronunciation is very hard, and it's really easy to mispronounce it, so native speakers don't have to understand what is said by a foreigner in Vietnamese with a very strong accent
