Eat You Alive by Katie Comet (lyric video)

I originally started writing this song about my experience with psychosis and having a hallucination demanding that I do not eat anything while in a psychiatric hospital, but as I wrote the song it became more of a picture of how I felt when I had an eating disorder as a teenager/young adult. I am grateful to say I have been fully recovered for many years, but it was a big part of my life when I was younger. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, PLEASE seek help - I want to shout it from the rooftops that things do get better and that "eating disorder voice" CAN be silent.
