Really like this one. I think I've worked out what it is that makes trench crusade look so good. The models are not overly detailed like the GW minis tend to be. They just have what they need and nothing more. It also helps that your painting skills make the models look awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I agree 100% all the models are simple which makes painting them so much more fun than just about any GW model. Plus they are all unique and not just the same jump pack marines painted in a different colour.
This was a really easy to understand video, even for someone like me that hasn't painted a mini yet. You explained things so well, I started to get a sense of how to start and build out my own ideas.
Super nice work you've done on this Mini! I have absolute no clue which models are actually from Trench Crusade. But I like your "easy to follow and not overcomplicating Grimdark" painting style and your way to explain, also your way to film / edit is very pleasant for me. So pleeeeeazzzze more Trench Crusade Videos!
I can smell the smoldering sinners! Or is it my Christmas pork in the oven? Anyway, awesome paintjob and please do more Trench Crusade minis, as that IP has to grow and hopefully get even wilder. Thumps up!
Thank you, normally I keep the brush very slightly damp which helps the paint flow better also I normally use very little paint when drybrushing and build it up slowly over multiple layers. Hope this helps.
The transfers are really cool, I'm kitbashing my new antioch and I have a sniper rifle with a wrapped barrel and instead of camouflaged I made it an off-white like parchment and scribbled with a micropen to get that kind of look scroll look. Would have have been way easier with that transfer lol.
Thank you, I did a similar thing with a model a few months back by free handing the text on some scrolls but it just did look as good as using actual transfers. The transfer I used were from ebay and called Knights Templar Script Transfers if you looking for them.
Fantastic! Have you ever tried painting free-hand symbols on your minis, instead of decals? Seems like a fun challenge (for you, not me😅). Great video!
Thank you, I have some time off over the Christmas so starting tonight I'm just going to start working my way through the trench crusade models. I get so much more enjoyment from painting the models I should just continue. Any in particular you would like to see?
Love it. Please, more Trench Crusade!!!
Thank you, working on more as we speak.
Great build 👍👍
Thank you!

Thanks you!

I’m so excited for this game. I just got my STLs and I’m so glad I’m starting to see people do tutorials.
Me too, the models are so much fun too paint compared to some of the Warhammer models!

Yep this is as close as it gets, a red model. Merry Christmas.

@@Goblins_and_Aliens it was more a happy coincidence, I just loved the model.

I have tried a few times but I'm terrible at free hand, transfers are just so much easier for me. Maybe one day.
More trench crusade please
Thank you, will for sure be doing more, love painting the models.
Where did you get the transfers?
I got them from ebay and they are called Knights Templar Script Transfers. Hope this helps.
No more space marines this was far more interesting!
