- (Enable closed captions) What a day! Not only did the 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0 win an award, but thanks to my buddy LK, I also had my 2000 AR 146 Ti Twin-Spark there as well!
This meet organised by AROC Malaysia was in conjunction with Art of Speed 2022 and it also happened to be the 50th and 30th Anniversaries of the Alfa Romeo Alfetta and 155 respectively. So yeah, you could say this event was a big deal for all Alfisti.
All in all a total of 79 Alfas showed up for this event, including an ultra rare SZ Zagato, one of only about a thousand made for the whole world, and the only one in Malaysia. And the Alfetta was parked right next to it. That's like getting a selfie with Scarlett Johansson imho, lol!
Anyway it was a fantastic (and hot!) day and I've actually lost a layer of skin off the top of my head from sunburn, no, really, but it was all worth it! Many thanks to AROC for the invite to attend, it was an honour just to be part of this historic event :)

Wowww!!! I never expect to see so many model alfa exist in our country bcos so rare to see on the road. Biasa european car on our road is german car. Never expect to see Italian car a lot. Are those car daily driven? My favourite are the DTM and Guilia. Thanks for showing this Chris

the one next to the GTV6 is also another Alfetta GTV but it is equipped with the inline-4 TwinCam engine instead, therefore without the 6 in the name.

at my friend's workshop in ipoh have one body+engine of alfa. just sitting outside. if someone interested to do a restoration, can reach me and i will forward it to my friend.

Lol! We don't want peace, we want problems...always!! Well tbh, having owned so many cars, ALL of them, regardless of make, had problems. Even brand new cars have problems, no car on earth has ever been problem free bud, what separates a true car enthusiast from one that only sees cars as a means of transport is how we overcome. Anyone can buy a car, new or used, but a true petrolhead keeps them going no matter what 🙏🏽👍🏽😊🐍
