At lahore porter person will come to you and ask you that your luggage will be clear without any scan or opening a bag . You have to bargain for amount. They will pick your bag from roller and bring it out thats it
Fully agree, going through the various stages at Pakistani airports is like being in a circus. So many unnecessary security points, yet all of them ineffective, lacking even the most basic training and professionalism. This results that people cannot take them seriously and see them as a laughing stock. Last year when flying from karachi i forgot that i had a rather big needle in one of my pockets which i later discovered after arriving home. The mega tight pro max security scanned me thoroughly 3 times yet it didnt find anything. You could see how they were just doing tick box exercises whilst stressing out people with huge queues and inefficient management. Passport control queues took ages for just two flights (over 45 minutes!) And at the counter the sloth paced officers take their time, several minutes per passenger.... every half decent immigration force anywhere else processes its own citizens within 10 to 20 seconds... overall its such a frustrating experience to go through pakistani passports, really makes you think how ineffective, unprofessional and frankly talentless and incapable government employees and their system at large is in pakistan, in pakistan the only thing that matters is to salute the boot...
Yes exactly. Same like canada. When i come in UAE. I find a superb system of checking. Very polite officers. E. gates are installed on uae airports AI based alI systems , all computerized. Very gracefull syatem. Very humble and i feel 100 percent safe when i land at UAe. ❤
Honest and realistic talk. Bro I have travelled from Karachi airport, being resident of Lahore you won’t believe that Lahore airport is worse and smaller than Karachi and so frustrating. Anyhow you have expressed feelings of millions of travellers 🧳. Worse part is that elderly people have to lift their luggage and put it through the scanner themselves pathetic.
Great Video! My last trip to Karachi, I bought 2 expensive hand woven rugs and had them individually packed. At the Karachi airport, folks from 3 different security agencies asked me the same questions about what I was carrying. Instead of scanning the rugs, one of them wanted to open it up. One of those incompetent idiots also asked why I would buy rugs in Pakistan. The sheer stupidity of that question is incredible. These people don't even understand what benefits the economy in Pakistan.
When I visited Canada, I found the immigration officer to be very respectful just one minute interview and check-in. Very simple and respectful, but Pakistani departments were very interrogative and suspicious.
Agreed, i remember when i first entered canada, the immigration officer very politely asked me about my stay and that for how long i will stay here. then she said Welcome to Canada, Enjoy. thats it

Considering Pakistan's security condition, and over all conduct of Pakistanis, implementing these procedures is crucial but yes new techniques of security and scrutiny must be adopted by the authority to give relief the passengers
1- Who's responsible for such security conditions? 2- Other than smuggling or illegally importing, what elese they have to check for security reasons? Flight mai, you can't bring such things that can create security threats. 3- Why do they have to scan thrice the same bag, then ask randomly to open the bags when you have nothing in it. What's the use of the machine then? trust me its not about security threat, they just want something to earn, BRIBERY. that's it. Exploitation of policies is the biggest problem here in Pakistan, like import ban policy. In some cases, they will ask to pay duties on chocolates like they are imported, and they will try to find an electronic product so that they can get some money from that.
I feel sorry for you and can relate to what you have experienced as I also go through similar experiences every year while visiting pak. You can vent out your frustration by making such videos but this won’t change anything, we all know who runs the airports in Pakistan don’t we!
Perhaps worse airport service than Pakistan is at Saudi airports during Hajj, when Saudi immigration officers see rush of incoming passengers, they go for their breaks!

Ye sochne ki baat hai ke inki 'checking' ki asli auqaat sirf itni hai ke jab aap Dubai ya Qatar pohonchte hain North America ke liye flight lene, toh wahan dobara check hotay hain kyun ke kisi ko PK ki checking par trust nahi hai. Lekin, jab aap North America se Dubai ya Qatar aate hain, toh mushkil se kabhi re-checking ki zaroorat hoti hai before boarding the PK flight. It’s time to reflect - PK ek mulk ban raha hai jahan 'standards' aur 'competence' ki kami hai, jo business community ke liye bahut discouraging hai.
I think Dubai Transit mai checking is mandatory for everyone. that's what i have experienced. Pakistan se jatay hoye bhi aur wapas atay hoye bhi dono time, and i have other nationalities over there as well for security during a transit flight.
You could have also mentioned about the taxis mafia and on the way from the airport the chances are that you would be stooped by the police and they demand for money.
Worst airport of Pakistan, used to be Islamabad / Rawalpindi airport & I think it still is, even though I last used it in late 90s. Second worst was & probably still is Karachi.
@@mwr98 For pretty much all reasons, un-friendly, rude, asking for bribe etc etc. You name it there is a problem in ISB. Karachi airport, they will just stop you for no reason, I was stopped with allegation of having fake passport, even though I have a Bio-metric european passport, after 30 minutes of wait one guy came & said "Sir, just pay $100 and everything will be resolved." I google & called called my embassy & told them the issue. They called airport authorities & told them if I am not let go, they will send a representative from embassy but then embassy will make sure FIA pays for my next flight, as soon they heard it they let me go. I think Lahore airport is probably one of the best for internation travel, they hardly stop anyone unless there is something wrong with documentation / travel papers.

You can search on google , that the officers in Karachi Airport once confiscated chocolates and confectionery items from a passenger saying this is a luxury item & govt have introduced the import ban policy here. Tell me some logical points. As I mentioned in the video, I have never seen such absurdity: after checking it once, there are three more officers to check the stamp before you board. Even after going through a machine where luggage is scanned, not once but three times, they will still ask you to open your luggage. Tell me in which other part of the world this happens to everyone and on every flight. In Pakistan, every flight has to go through a red channel. Nowhere else in the world will you see this. Even in Mexico, where the crime rate is high, I haven’t experienced this at all. So, it’s better that you come out of your delusional world where you think everything is fine and positive. Grow up.
Too much negative comments, I have travelled more than 40 Airports international and at some Airports they take your cloths off with no reasons. Opened baggage for no reason, if you argue would got arrested. Traveled to Italy, UK, and Amsterdam, and don’t talk about US. Yahan har flight red channel par jati hai & 92% people have to face such questions. Unnecessary lines & 3-4 different officers checking same immigration stamp lol. Problem again is they way they do this.

You can search on google , that the officers in Karachi Airport once confiscated chocolates and confectionery items from a passenger saying this is a luxury item & govt have introduced the import ban policy here. Thats what i am saying exploiting policies

There is nothing wrong with highlighting problems and trying to raise our voices wherever we can. I am playing my part, and just because people are commenting against Pakistan doesn’t mean we are showing a negative image. It’s your delusional world where you don’t want to accept reality and think that criticizing unnecessary policies means we are against certain things.
Come out of your delusional world, we can never bring about change with this ignorance. We have to point out mistakes, and that will eventually help us make changes.

As I mentioned in the video, I have never seen such absurdity: after checking it once, there are three more officers to check the stamp before you board. Even after going through a machine where luggage is scanned, not once but three times, they will still ask you to open your luggage. Tell me in which other part of the world this happens to everyone and on every flight. In Pakistan, every flight has to go through a red channel.
Nowhere else in the world will you see this. Even in Mexico, where the crime rate is high, I haven’t experienced this at all. So, it’s better that you come out of your delusional world where you think everything is fine and positive. Grow up.

Too much negative comments, I have travelled more than 40 Airports international and at some Airports they take your cloths off with no reasons. Opened baggage for no reason, if you argue would got arrested.
Traveled to Italy, UK, and Amsterdam, and don’t talk about US. So humiliating that you cannot imagine, make you naked in fronts of your family and kids.
So don’t exaggerate things. No doubt corruption is there in third world Airports and is bad but asking questions and checking is far less than some international Airports of Europe and Americas (travel to US, Peru, Colombia and Chilli), you will know what is checking and what is security.
So don’t exaggerate to sell your video.
