My great grandma had her feet bound. They broke her feet when she was 3 and started the binding. They basically aim for the "golden lotus" which is like the best of the bound feet which gets you the most money for the daughter basically as a down payment. They also did this to where they couldn't run away, they couldn't really go anywhere. When it was first outlawed, the people were horrible to those who had their feet bound, like throw stuff at them and stuff. My great grandma fled China to Hawaii. She was completely wheelchair bound, she couldn't walk at all. They did take her to see if her feet could be fixed but reality is, the pain to fix everything would be almost as bad as originally breaking them so she didnt fix them. In China there is a dance group made up of the last women in China with bound feet (or at least publicly known) tourists and locals go and watch them dance it's absolutely insane
These poor people already suffered so much and then people mistreat them even more when it was outlawed?? I find it so baffling and sad, I’ll never understand why one can justify it to themselves..
It always baffles me how people don't immediately recognize that when feet are damaged like this people(the women) can't run away. That humans are being treated as property and that the "beauty" comes from the perceived value. It is absolutely horrid this happened.

The sunscreen rant reminded me of when a classmate of mine in vocational school shared an article in our whatsapp group about how important sunscreen is especially for construction workers, and another classmate commented that with: "Sunscreen is for f*****s" and I replied with "Skin cancer is for straggots". Actually, in places like China (for example) they don't have great health and safety. A *lot* of workers are on bamboo scaffolding and wear just plimsole shoes instead of steel capped work boots and yes, that crane, yes they would be expected to work on it or they would lose their job and someone else will be there, waiting to step into that job immediately. It's awful and I don't like the systems they're subjected to nor the work injuries. But sadly, a lot of the companies doing the building think their workers lives are disposable. So, I wouldn't be surprised if this person literally had to work on a collapsing crane ....
7:09 ants fly because they’re descendants of wasps… wasps come first then bees then ants. Ants have wings for nuptial/mating flights with males and females having wings - males die shortly after procreation while females live on to fly away to new territory and then cut off their own wings and begin burrowing to lay their eggs/make their nest… their babies won’t have wings unless they are princes/princes which will engage in nuptial flights. Similar to how like a queen bee gives birth to normal bees and then only specific ones are fed a specific way to make them queens. - not all ants have wings but those that can reproduce do have wings. They need to fly away and make their own nests. It’s a seasonal thing where ants fly - so if you’re seeing them all the time you might actually be spotting termites - this probably started with some ancient ground base wasp wanting to burrow and instead of damaging the wings and body they decided to perform amputations and continue that cycle.. thus they have ants which predominantly lack wing structures but retain the overall wasp like body shape. kinda like how snakes and lizards were similar evolutions but snakes like to crawl into holes so they lost their front legs then lost their back legs so they could burrow into holes better to catch prey. With only some species like anacondas retaining vestigial hind limbs… Or how rodents became moles with short stubby hands - big limbs underground isn’t helpful wings underground isn’t helpful so they evolve to go without and dominate what they do.
8:32 it’s not actual hair they are usually microscopic needle like structures that cause a burning sensation. It depends on the caterpillar how exactly it works. Basically it’s like if your species doesn’t want to camouflage to look like a leaf or a stick or bird poop etc they have evolved the ‘don’t f*ck with me’ genes. Where they’re either toxic to touch or eat and can kill their predators or make them sick - or evolved to be so unpleasant to touch that it’s like they swallowed a bunch of needles/asbestos… so either their toxic or they’re physically ouchie. Harry caterpillars are usually the ouchie kind but can also be toxic ontop of that.

Kaya - La Roche Posay have a great spf 50 for face the anti shine one and good under makeup. Do *not* rely on spf in your makeup/foundation, you must use an spf with those as well as the spf in makeup won't protect you. This is from an Aussie who knows her spf lol. La Roche Posay is sold in the UK and USA, etc.
The better LRP Anthelios is the chemical version (vs zinc, a physical sunscreen) and isn't sold in the US because the FAA is behind the ball. Whenever I have American friends up to Canada and they try my LRP Anthelios chemical sunscreen, they end up buying a bunch to take home. It's great under makeup and doesn't sting your eyes (unless you directly get it in your eyes during application). Wait 5-20 minutes after application for it to dry down before applying your makeup.
With the cat, I’m almost positive you’re actually seeing the back of its eye. Those red lines are veins. Pretty sure it has to do with the camera reacting with the part of the cats eye that makes it reflective.
Yes, sorta! It’s the membrane behind the retina called the tapetum lucidum that helps reflect light and, in turn, allows animals that possess this membrane (most animals besides humans have it) to have better night/low light vision! It’s such a cool anatomical feature!
Here in victoria bc, we don't get snow either. But, when it does snow, busses will stop running, and people will panic. I love snow. I can't wait to move back home to where we get snow every year. 😊
OVERPASSES freak me out. There was an accident here in Canada, one collapsed on a car. The car was crushed to knee height, can you imagine the state of the passengers? The TIMING too, you're driving at 100kmph and that one bad second chooses you. Horrifying.
17:03 A version of that is already happening. The red-caps are claiming that any video of their Orange Monarch that makes him look bad or look insane is AI.
That snow video made me think: "Ah, normal Thursday in Finland for us" if it's winter. Because, um... Half a year worth of snow is what we get sometimes; haven't had proper winter for years but still, sometimes it snows so much it's unfathomable and then we have to go to school or work no matter what, no-one cares if there is a blizzard, you'll have to be there. Nowadays, unfortunately, it feels like autumn just continues until it's spring and then we get either a good summer or hellish summer and then back to the darkness we go.
8:27 laugh now, however that's a flannel moth caterpillar those "hairs" are actually venomous and can hurt like hell if stung so don't touch it, there are also several species of flannel moths so there are more types of these hairy pain worms in the wilds.
I've literally seen TH-camrs scream as they find a (unwell i assume) homeless person who screams at them for invading their literal home. I've also see the roof and floors begin to fall in while a youtuber is filming in abandoned locations. I've also seen the cops chase them and get arrested for this stuff. To me. It's not worth it. Unless you have proper permission and the "bad sections" are roped off for your protection, I'm not going into an abandoned building. And yes, a *lot* of the time there are homeless people squatting in there and you just never know how other people will react.
You could see the ants on the outside edge of the monitor as well. And we in Australia get awful ants. We also get Bull Ants which bite nip you. You see a Bull Ants nest and you walk away. They're not poisonous but they do sting a little. We mainly get the small little black ants though and they can be a problem for some homes or outside in the yards.
the wolf lodge is in a national park where guests can stay, and the wolves are wild but they're used to people, so don't go feeding them, also most predatory animals are scared of people.

8:55 zoology student here, this cats eye is normal. They have very strong lenses and if the light hits it just the right way (because they are mostly crepuscular / nocturnal) the light will reflect on the lens, and either look green or red, depending on the camera and amount of light around.
That footage from the North Korean K-pop concert is REALLY similar to footage from an Elton John concert in Russia in 1979: still under the iron curtain, the audience was actively being policed by security if they clapped too loud or tried to stand up. It's really weird to watch. The whole concert is on youtube and you can see for yourself. The video you guys saw might be a piece of historical footage a bit like the other concert footage is in 50 years, like you said. Also, Fun Fact: Elton apparently broke a KGB agent's cover. . . by getting intimate with him on a hotel roof? Absolute legend.

When I saw the bear it reminded me of this doll that my Granny has in her basement. She got it when she was a kid, and she's had it for roughly 60+ years. It looks so decrepit, and it always creeped me, my brother and my cousins out. I'm almost 18 now and it still freaks me out 😱. Thinking about it now my brother and I have also had some creepy toys when we were younger. My brother used to have a monkey that would make this horrible screeching noise when you pushed a button, and I hated it so much. One of my great grandmas had a witch that she would turn on and it would walk towards you and cackle. Our mom would laugh while my brother and I hid behind her because we were so scared. We had a giant sinkhole near where I live. In our case, the dirt under the road had shifted during numerous heavy bouts of rain (we also live in the mountains, so the earth simply fell downhill). Thankfully, no one was there when it happened, so no injuries or anything. I'd estimate it is about 70m long and it a drop of around 60m.
34:48 I have porcelain crowns on all my teeth, which are like veeners, but they cover the whole tooth and can be placed on all teeth (veneeeres are only used on front teeth because of the pressure back teeth face when chewing). Unlike veneeres, crowns strengthen WEAK teeth, but a lot more tissue must be removed. I grew up poor (in the US), and I had terrible dental insurance (Like we're talking two appointments in the course of six months just to place temporary fillings on all of my molars), so my teeth were horrible, so this was my only option to save my teeth. At the time, I remember being upset with the color because they weren't obnoxiously white: they were natural white, but now I'm so happy. Some dentists don't even know they are crowns until they get a better look. If you don't want veneeres but you like the benefits, consider getting dental bonding. It's cheaper and fast, and waayyyyyyy less invasive because the dentist can place it without removing any enamel, making it reversible (and there's no lab involved). Veneers and crowns are not revesable. Also, I've seen those Turkey veneer teeth nubs, they look like mine from when I got crowns, so I'm worried the veneers are bigger or something, so I'm worried about the durability. Veneers, root canal treatments, and fillings create weak spots on your teeth, causing pressure to get distributed unequally, increasing the risk of a fracture, but crows fix that if you have weak teeth from lots of fillings, root canal treatment, cavities, etc. by creating a new solid surface. With all options, the part of the enamel that has been covered is immune to decay, but you have to worry more about receeding gums (gums don't like veneers or crowns, but they tolerate porcelain ones best) and root decay. Personally, I think instead of veneers people should conser dental bonding or just fixing their teeth with whitening, braces, and dental bonding/veneers/crowns for problematic teeth like teeth that are discolored from internal trauma or teeth that are short/oddly shaped. FYI, porcelain dental crowns and veneers can't be fixed, so if you get a chip, the dentist has to replace it if yo uwant it fixed. Also, pick a good dentist. My crowns have lasted about 20 years, and my current dentist says only a few may need to be replaced in the next few years. In the past two years, I've had my first real issue: I have two chips from grinding my teeth, but since they aren't noticeable, I've yet to fix them. At the same time, my cousin got her first set of Veneers for free because they were still a new procedure, and her dentist was trying them out. They fell off after like a month. Since they were fixed by a skilled dentist, however, I don't think she's had issues. However, she had perfect teeth except for mild discoloration that could have been fixed with teeth whitening. In my opinion, she should not have gotten veeners, but I think her dentsit pressured her.

I left the group chat after one too many queerphobic meme from that same idiot, and eventually "my" side of the class took control of the group chat, took everyone else's admin status and kicked out the homophobe, and everyone else started behaving in the chat from then on, but were very bitter about it.
@@ichbinben. I've found, over the 32 years I've been in various online communities, that one Moderator on a power-trip, "will ruin the entire bunch." Because the other Moderators will "circle the wagons" when the misbehavior of one is pointed out.
I just had to leave a platform because of that. And I'm the type of person who questions himself _first_ and begins to doubt himself. So I'm an easy target. But, I'm also too old to spend my time on things that make me feel horrible.
So I _very much understand_ the resulting bitterness.
I live in an area prone to sink holes. We really do live everyday knowing "today the earth could open up and swallow me." There is actually one not far from my office at work; they found it during some building construction earlier this year.
That’s terrifying
8:55 That's the cat's retina. We're basically seeing what an optometrist sees when examining a person's eye.
Vaping definitely needs to stop. I'm in foster care and kids as young as 11 are smoking and not just regular vapes, it's like weed vapes as well. There are rules prohibiting it but no one really enforces it and kids always find ways to get their fix.
It’s Truly Sad , Even just Video’s Online don’t Really Talk About the Dangers . it goes Unspoken because the Adults make the Money and Don’t Mind 😬
Yeah it’s really made it seem normal to kids to do it so so young 😊
Yeah and they make em colourful and shiny too.. with lithts
So great to see you two together again!!! Love you both💜🖤
Absolutely love filming with Kaya
Roly: why are u tying ur nose rings together? What if u sneeze?
Also Roly: don't go into a silverback enclosure. What if u sneeze?
😂
Well, he is still correct!
Fear of sneezing unlocked.
36:24 The place Roly is talking about is The Strat (formerly Stratosphere) hotel and casino in Las Vegas! I didn't do the rollercoaster (X-Scream), but I did do the "Big Shot" which shoots you up into the air and drops you similarly to Tower of Terror.
Also the fish Kaya is trying to remember is an Oarfish! A lot of cultures believe that they predict incoming tsunamis! 😵
Absolutely terrible
I had such a bad few days, and just got out the bath after a long miserable shift at work....and I can NOT stop replaying the beginning where Kaya dodges your fan ^_^ its giving me life when I most needed it. thank you both
Actually, in places like China (for example) they don't have great health and safety.
It’s a seasonal thing where ants fly - so if you’re seeing them all the time you might actually be spotting termites
- this probably started with some ancient ground base wasp wanting to burrow and instead of damaging the wings and body they decided to perform amputations and continue that cycle.. thus they have ants which predominantly lack wing structures but retain the overall wasp like body shape.
kinda like how snakes and lizards were similar evolutions but snakes like to crawl into holes so they lost their front legs then lost their back legs so they could burrow into holes better to catch prey.
The teeth drilling and engraving is terrifying. Tooth pain and problems are a NIGHTMARE
i hate to tell you roly, but tiny spiders do fly with static electricity. they'll be as high as planes in the sky. theyre insane creatures.
I’m gonna cry after hearing this information
They are so cool 🥰
but for why. what are they doing there

Petition for Roly to buy a light shade, i can't stop staring at the drawdogging lightbulb 😂😂. I love you, Roly, and I love your friend. What a lovely, sweet human she is. You can just tell! really enjoyed watching both of you together ❤
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks to you Roly I got my septum done 2 days ago!
My piercer was great, clean, and so nice. She literally squealed about how perfect it was. I told her my “fear” of the needle missing and hitting my cartilage but she told me not to fear and she did that shit AMAZINGLY.
I’ve also now ordered a glass ear gauge kit, with a goal of 00. Thanks to you I know not to stretch like an idiot and potentially cause a blowout. Time is key
That's awesome, I hope it's been healing well!!
Came to the comments to say this, that's definitely the back of the eye.
Not even joking - I was wondering when Kaya would be back this morning when I was watching something on Extra Roly so I am SOOO ready!! Love the vids
Oh perfect ❤
OVERPASSES freak me out. There was an accident here in Canada, one collapsed on a car. The car was crushed to knee height, can you imagine the state of the passengers? The TIMING too, you're driving at 100kmph and that one bad second chooses you. Horrifying.
Hocus Pocus remake with Roly, Toxic Tears, and Mr Globbins let's go!
😂😂😂😂😂
17:03 A version of that is already happening. The red-caps are claiming that any video of their Orange Monarch that makes him look bad or look insane is AI.
So... pretty much all of them that aren't AI
Coming from Australia I could live with that 😊
8:27 laugh now, however that's a flannel moth caterpillar those "hairs" are actually venomous and can hurt like hell if stung so don't touch it, there are also several species of flannel moths so there are more types of these hairy pain worms in the wilds.
Love the energy with Roly and Kaya. Kaya looks gorgeous as always. Together you make a very enjoyable relaxing time for me. Hugs for you both
I've literally seen TH-camrs scream as they find a (unwell i assume) homeless person who screams at them for invading their literal home.
I’m on lunch, having a really bad day and all of a sudden this pops up, you guys made me cry a little bit lol! Can’t wait to see these creepy things 💛
I love the mad Gemini energy of you and Kaya together! 💕
The crane floor is TERRIFYING

Ah, yes, just what I needed, more nightmare fuel
Also, Kaya's wings are on point

YAAAAYYYY!!!! HI KAYA!!! I love you both so much xxxx ❤❤❤❤

the wolf lodge is in a national park where guests can stay, and the wolves are wild but they're used to people, so don't go feeding them, also most predatory animals are scared of people.
You two make a really great pairing! I know you’ve been collaborating for years but I figured I’d comment on a new video for once lol. The energy balance is right on point. Hilarious as always. And I love the look, Kaya; super stunning!
8:55 zoology student here, this cats eye is normal. They have very strong lenses and if the light hits it just the right way (because they are mostly crepuscular / nocturnal) the light will reflect on the lens, and either look green or red, depending on the camera and amount of light around.
Is that called tapetum lucidum?
i think still water is scary bc you don't notice how deep it might be until you step in it and it's too late
I'm from Cornwall and we all live in fear of falling into a big hole... growing up I knew 3 people whos houses just sank into the ground, where I live now there is a cathedral sized mine shaft under the ground and theyre building housing estates above it.. its mental.
Edit: Also when I saw the Chinese foot binding I think I had a visceral reaction. I was like NO with my mouth gaping wide open 😭
34:03 Colorado, USA may get a lot of snow sometimes (mostly closer to the mountains- I live in the suburbs of Denver) but we have more sunny days than Florida so it actually melts quite fast! I’ve never experienced that much snow, though!
Artisan's "Stop hiring humans" ad is unfortunately brilliant marketing. Probably the best result they could ever hope for from a marketing campaign. I had never heard about Artisan before today. Now I know they exist. And the more it gets shared by people who are disgusted by it, the more likely it is that people who will benefit from it and contract their services will know they exist as well.
The tooth engraving photo is a set of dentures. Teeth are not connected to each other like that. Plus, the logo in between the teeth is too small for a tattoo artist to replicate.
The videos with you two are some of my favourites!! (Loving the yellow blusher btw, I have some but haven’t built up the confidence to wear it out 😂)
Kaya looked like she was watching a tennis match when you were squatting for Jesus 😂😂😂
Great video as always Roly (& Kaya) ❤

I just get the auras: sights, sounds, smells. Grand mal I grew into at 10 yrs old and grew out of by 25.

Roly, you are the highlight of my week and give me hope, motivation, and inner love of myself. I hope you read my last comment. I am trans(started T on March of 2024. I am 42!). A US veteran, hate Trump, but been through EU while studying forensics. I loved doing facial reconstruction. I'm into tattoos and piercings but they INSTANTLY heal the moment I take out the piercing for whatever reason(doesn't matter how many years it's been). Could they be redone? I used piercing needle, professional studio. I wish I had the income to join your membership or patreon.... Just to give back what you've given me. I love Jamie and Luxeria as well.
Feels like I have seen kaya in forever.. it's so good to see her looking happy ❤
I hate the deep sea too - it terrifies me! That huge fish is an Oarfish which are sometimes called doomsday fish… really creepy looking.
Isn’t it horrid
I think the cat eye one is real. I've often looked my cats in the face and if the light and angle is right, I can see right into their eyeball and see the veins inside. It's creepy for sure.
This was so much fun! Love seeing Kaya again! Thanks to you both! 💜🖤
4:18 In high school, my social studies teacher showed us a video (supposedly) from North Korea of them talking about America and I remember very vividly that the video said there were no birds in America because we ate them while showing footage of New York in winter.
San Francisco used to have a horror wax museum. One of the three stooges was the security guard. It was so cool. It has since closed.
horse owner and vet tech in a horse clinic here! The clip with the horse and the tent is actually extra cute. Moms watch over their sleeping babies in this exact position, close standing an with their neck and head positioned over the baby. I think it wanted to protect this lonely human that was without a herd, utterly unacceptable for a herd animal :D
The bear that the elderly person had, looks alot like Robert the doll. The most haunted bear/doll in the world. 😱☠️
Kaya's style really brings me back to late 90's early 2000 brings a tear to my eye.😢❤ Love it Nostalgia
7:11 Flying spiders are my worst nightmare! If spiders ever sprout wings, that's my time to leave this earth one way or another 😂
I'm also terrified of horses, waking up to a horse watching me would scar me for life 😂

always exciting to see Kaya! now, what cursedness are we in for today... 🤔😂 thanks, Roly! ❤
Always such fun filming with her
They did the foot binding so that women had to be slower than their husbands. They had to follow like property.
We love a Kaya moment, aka Toxic Tears.
Also, yay! 1st recommend video in my yt notifications was Rolys video!
Up for a good time. 🖤🖤
The gorilla is not actually terrifying to me they rarely attack and they won’t attack you unless they feel threatened. I’ve seen even crazier interactions with even more dangerous animals I watch a man who lives with actual lions I kid you not he raised them from cubs but they are much more likely to attack you as there predators .I respect the man 100 percent it takes balls to do that how had he not died.
with the lion whisperer his pride likely sees him as family considering he raised them. even being a recognizably different being they probably accept him in due to that
oh but yeah anyone else would be dead lmao...
My first time seeing Kaya with you! I haven't been subbed long but I absolutely loved the video! And kayas contacts are awesome! I want some but I've heard from so many people they hurt to wear and are hard to see out of? Maybe someday!
"I could have lived without that Information" killed me hahaha😂
ah, the bug thing... I live in the jungle in Southern Thailand. I have learned that the ants are just circling to invade and take over. The Huntsman spiders are lurking being anything large, and we don't leave lights on anywhere near the bed. Lets not talk about the giant blue spotted geckos that follow the bugs..
Hello Roly! Hello Kaya! 💜

As someone who lives - and has been raised in - an area that has earthquakes… they are rarely worthy of note 🤣 these is a big one every couple of years but it’s been ages since there has been a huge catastrophic one. The normal ones are actually pretty fun to experience!
29:59 At least the turtle must have appreciated the human feeding it. 😂
Kaya is back baby!!!! Love these collabs 🫶🏼
06:25 this might be a good time to say I have a genuine phobia of ants 💀💀💀
Oh no 😅

Have you never been to Scotland? When I was growing up in Scotland we were snowed in a few times. I've moved down south and am now a southern softie 😂
The look Roly gives Kaya when they didn't squat, killed me 😹😹💜
Yeeeeeess the Queen Of Darkness has returned, I love y'all's videos together
Fun fact. Ants Actually do have species within the colony that do fly. Fortunately, we don’t see them very often because in more terrestrial species like sugar ants or carpenter ants, tend to keep the ones with the wings, guarding the queen. I really like bugs. Lol
There is an animated movie called Sea Beasts and there is a scene where the people have fallen into the ocean and they see the sea monster lurking in the dark and it just slowly fades into the deeper darker water. Gave me chills!
I'm with Roly! Deep dark water scares me!

I live in Michigan(State in the US), and we get pot holes, and we got tornadoes, they may not be as deadly as other natural disasters but they’re just freaky, doesn’t make them any less scarier when tornado sirens start blaring in your area💀
Thanks for making my day 💕
We had a giant sinkhole near where I live.
So early to a Roly video!!!! We love it!!!
❤❤❤
