Awesome job on the new face tutorial. I went thru all the hoops to update phone, then watch and like others I could not find a date and thought that Apple really dropped the ball. Untill....if you select the digital display that's on the far left, named "NONE" (in the app) many more complications become avaiable. For me, date, sunrise and activity showed and now it's my new favorite face.
When I have this screen set to time & seconds, the hours & minutes disappear when I rotate my wrist. Any idea how I fix this. Thanks for all your efforts.

I have the original Ultra, and my modular watch face is very different. I am not yet able to update my phone to iOS 17. How did you do that update? Also I only have 9.6.2 on my watch with no further updates available. Are those needed to get the modular watch face that you are using? Mine is not the same.
This new iOS 10 update on my Apple Watch SE is draining my battery!!! I used to get some 12+ hours. I’m getting barely 8 hrs on a full charge! Apple, please fix this!!!!
Is there any way to turn the red screen mode on without it being nighttime? It was so easy on the eyes being able to use my dial for the red light mode on the watch face
Yes there is a way to turn the red screen on without out it being in the night. You just have to go to night mode and set it to dark. And it will always be dark 24/7
The old way “manual on/off” with Digital Crown was far superior. Now you have to select “always on” or always off with four actions in a sequence. Combine that with the loss of “swipe to change faces” and now it’s a convoluted mess. I live in the mountains and work in board rooms, clinical settings, and need to QUICLY throw on a specific face or night mode… watch OS10 was a downgrade for me. The altimeter is also funny. If you are constantly between 6k and 14k feet, the side bar is a bit wonky in the way it chooses scale. Anyways, that’s my opinion. :)

Have ultra one, has iOS 10x phone 14 plus has 17 beta. I can add to watch it shows on Apple Watch appl, but when ads doesn’t appear on Apple Watch
Maybe try restarting your devices and adding the watch face from the phone which is on iOS 17

The displays are the same size.
Yes the display of the first ultra and ultra 2 are the same. Only difference is the S9 Sip Chip
