Hi Coach, I really want to thank you ! So there is this girl im working with for 2 years. There was always some kind of special connection between the two of us, some kind of happy tension. I wasnt sure if she is just nice or if there is potential for something more than just our work relationship. So I asked her out on a date. We went on 3 dates total and I just was not sure If shes really into me, even if the dates were really great. Women reflect your feelings about yourself as a man. If you feel unworthy and unloveable, you will only attract women who feel this way about you.
Start loving yourself, start making yourself feeling worthy FOR YOUR OWN SAKE! Stop complaining and take responsibility for your own life, and yes even physically and practically, and for your health. If there is trauma then LET IT OUT, CRY AS HARD AS YOU NEED, and then let it go, and move on to a better place emotionally with yourself and your life. Stop affirming (or denying) toxic thoughts and start affirming healthy thoughts. Become the master of your own thoughts, emotions, desires, words and actions, rather than allowing yourself being a slave/puppet to them!
Men who love themselves and who genuinely feel worthy attract women who feel the same about them.

Consider it a learning lesson. And, immediately get yourself busy from 7 to 7 every single day, and longer on Sundays. She'll either get more interested in you, or she'll go away. Never answer her texts right away. Learn new stuff like painting, home repair work or guitar, go to the gym, go clothes shopping, go to the salon, start a business, join a book club, go out and explore the cool things to do around the area.... Expand your comfort zone to subconsciously boost your confidence.

I'll be watching the Masterclass soon. I found a regular partner at the weekly Salsa dancing events I go to, and she's been very affectionate with me. But, I'm trying hard to be nice and take it slow because I'm just getting to know her. It could be she's just being nice, she might even have a boyfriend already. I do know one thing, she doesn't think I'm creepy, which is apparently more than she can say for some other people at these events, so that's a relief!

Hi Melanie. I worked with a lady for 2yrs and felt so connected to her. She laughed at all my jokes and came over for supper with me and we had deep conversations and always have fun together. I saw signs but I was nervous to ask her out. We went to a concert together and she told me we should spend more time together. I just not really ever made a move so I guess she friend zoned me. There is a wide age gap. However I don’t think it’s a problem anyway I eventually told her I love her and she called me and told me we are just friends. Didn’t want to hurt me I’m a nice guy . However I’m still in love with her. We haven’t talked in a long time but last time I talked I asked her if she would like to go to a concert again. She said she missed me and told me we should get together to talk about it in person. She promised me she would come over. So I invited her over for supper. She coming over Saturday. I’m so excited and happy. Went to a little bar another friend works at to have a drink and chat with her and I met get this my potential girlfriends brother. Small world. We hit it off. He told me his sister he likes to grill steaks for but he let me know Larry that’s me is the best at steaks . I just really love being around her and felt being such great friends was way to be more than friends but felt I missed a sign and rejected her. Feel this or perhaps in her mind I thought myself 52 and her 32 she felt was too much or perhaps worried what family or friends would think. I know I am a great person and been told I look like I’m in my 30’s . I just don’t want to mess up and feel we would be so awesome together as a couple. I feel I will try to take it slow and hope full we can see more of each other again. Going to try to not be tooo needy as I did over text her before as I must of seemed desperate going into this feeling more confident and hoping when I see sign I will do right thing. Thanks Melanie. Very good narrative Melanie ! I think a man needs to show her his true identity and worth from the very beginning. If you both have common interests, this definitely is a great indication yet there is still lots of work to do moving forward. Age gaps can be really tricky especially in my experience. The goal is to shower her with who you really are and then give her time to think it out ( pull away ) if she has doubts because it won’t work if you continue to pursue her as she is trying to figure out her emotions. Older men offer unique qualities she may not find in a younger potential mate. At that point, your file is being assessed but you have to let go and move forward without turning back.
If it is meant to be, it will happen somehow, somewhere ! Ever watch the Notebook ? Emotions flare up constantly when many question marks loom above !
Patience is a must and it is virtually impossible to predict the outcome if you are willing to take the risks ! Yet the risk is low if you value your traits as a human being. Confidence goes a long way these days among the battleground of human relationships!

I think if a girl is into you and you tell her you have feelings for her is different than knowing she's into you and telling her she matters to you.
Cuz for some reason the word "feelings for" seems not masculine.
