Hi bro, may I ask you that, I am going to travel in Nice, my flight is from Paris to Nice. To have the greatest view when landing off, Which side should I choose?
@user-ye3zl3fw4f That's difficult to answer because it depends on which runway you land on. If you land on (runway 22) from Italy's direction, the best view is from the right side of the plane. If you land from Cannes direction ( runway 04 ), then your best view is from the left side of the plane.

I've flown many times but Nice was a totally diff experience because of those turns above the sea the clarity of the sky.

L'approche de NCE en 04L est magnifique, et la 22R est toujours aussi impressionnante avec le virage final qui longe la cote..
Ancien manut' AF saisonnier dans les années 90, j'ai toujours adoré les avions, de la Caravelle, jusqu'au Concorde.
Merci pour cette vidéo avec les cartes d'approche comme explications et repères dans l'espace.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DEEP HUMMING TONE OF THE ENGINES AS HE’S CONSTANTLY ADJUSTING THE POWER WHILE DESCENDING. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DEEP HEAVY RUMBLE OF THE GEAR DROPPING DOWN. Hopefully I could fly an A320 someday.

J'ai découvert cette chaine en cherchant un vidéo d'un atterrissage a nice, je suis absorbé par tes vidéos, vraiment magnifique c'est captivant et je penses que c'est la meilleur chaine yt d'aviation en terme d'images.
Un grand bravo et continue c'est un vrais plaisir pour les yeux ça donne envie de devenir pilote
Ce serait hyper cool d'avoir une video décollage + atterrissage sans accélère avec les communications en clair, qu'on entende bien ce que vous dites se serait vraiment intéressant..

They put their compressor engines on reverse. Fuel is AIR on Airliners. A 380 has Helium in its wings

Nice vid! I love 4 k videos! so realistic! I also want to go buy a 4 k camera but what editing program do you use and how long does it take on average to render? You should definitely have a fast computer?
+NL Aviation thanks! Yes, editing 4K is heavy! For the shooting the GoPro is fine, and also Gh4 or the Sony's Alpha lineup. For the computer, I recommend high & fast storage (SSD), strong graphics chipset, 16gb memory minimum. A good advice would be to shoot short files (short time). It becomes difficult when you have to handle several files of 10gb!
OK, I will need to purchase a faster computer so if I purchase a new 4 k camera go?! You may have a tip for a computer that can handle 4K graphically well?

Hi,
I was hoping you could help me understand more on the turning and bank angle for a specific visual approach in Nice LFMN, with neither ATC vectoring nor Instrument help.
Example, I'm following the CGS VOR course 354° for a visual approach at LFMN and I need to turn right onto the runway 4L with an inbound course 43°. My Airspeed is 140Knts on the a320 Neo, assuming no wind.
I can determine the bank angle since I have to turn right 49° to intercept 43°. With the formula GS/10+7 I get 21° bank angle.
I also know the time needed for the turn: 49°/3= 16.3 seconds.
If the above is correct then when should I initiate the turn for landing on 4L?
I have also thought about using the approximation of GS squared/10 to get the radius (would be 140/60)2/10= 0.9 NM but I do not need a complete turn so I'm a bit confused.
Are you able to help me out?
I have also seen some suggesting to find the radius turn by taking 1% of your GS.
Would be great to hear your thoughts please.
