No trouble, just beautiful daily life with dogs, who give our lives joy. Thank you Dean Robert, for continuing to minister to your Garden Congregation.
Thank you, Dean Robert and Fletcher. I am one of those suffering with distress, , and I truly feel prayed for. Your morning prayers have been so missed. I have missed your teaching, and gentle wisdom and your return this week has brought me to tears. Thank you so very much 🙏🏻
I felt as if I were with you, Dean Robert, Fletcher, Marigold and Jezebel in that cozy kitchen. And our time together sustains me and so many in a holy and intimate way. Blessings on the next part of your journey
Joy of Joys. How wonderful to have you Dean Robert & Fletcher back in the lives of the Garden Congregation. How you have been missed. Most grateful for your amazing gift.Thank you. Gods Blessings on all that you do. 💟💟☮ Peace for our world.
I’m so pleased that DR has been able to resume regular prayers with us, even if temporarily. It is a pleasure to see you both so relaxed and happy. The dogs were lovely too.
You bless us richly: as you journey on “Where ever you go, may the joy of God the gracious be with you: the face of Christ the kindly be with you,the compassing of the Spirit of grace grace go with you; the presence of the Trinity around you to bless and keep you.” (Based on prayers from Iona). Safe journeys ahead be yours.
This evening prayer with the dogs playing all around you made me laugh. What joy! Thank you for all you do in bringing the Gospel to us. I always feel I am growing as a Christian by listening to your readings and lessons and also learning more of the wonders of the world we live in through your selections of authors, poets, artists and other people and places of note. Fletcher’s wonderful filming and editing adds immeasurably to the beauty. Your faithful work and evangelism, Dean Robert and Fletcher, is so appreciated!!
This made me laugh! But I laugh with appreciation of the work you both put into these videos, the lovely prayers, morning and evening, of the wonderful settings that you choose, of the readings, messages, art and poetry that you share and especially with the recognition that laughing, too, is holy, connecting us with each other and with the divine. Thank-you!
How enchanting to be together in prayer on an evening at home and with creature comforts infront of a fire bringing us all good news of Jesus and voicing the joy of artists in painting and poetry referring to the beauty of spring chorus with 'daffodills' and blessings too A warm thankyou.Love the two dogs squicky sweeties.
Thank you for this lovely meditation. My fav readings of Easter. The dogs are too funny! Safe travels and thank you for carrying on with GC. So much appreciated!
Delighted to see Dean Emeritus Robert beside a warm fire after the other morning in the snow !! Also with daffodils, dogs and a fine rendition of Wordsworth's "I wandered lonely as a cloud ... when all at once I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils" which brought back memories of my school years in Dorset, UK, where my English master was Andrew Wordsworth, the great-great grandson of Christopher Wordsworth, brother of the poet William Wordsworth. Looking forward to the Sunday morning service there, which begins shortly ... already 11.23 pm Sunday here in Australia :-)
What a beautiful, warm and inviting room in which to read the evening prayer - and wonderful flowers! Many thanks for taking time to bring the Garden Congregation back together, Dean Robert. So haopy to have this back. And many thanks, Fletcher, for all the work putting this together. It was great seeing the four legged friends! Safe travels.
I just discovered this channel and I like it very much. I watch alot of religious stuff on TH-cam and I like that he is in different locations, and outdoors, and it's nice to see someone reading and talking like we are there with him. Most things are just recorded voices. Thank you for the work you put into it and God Bless you.
I'm so happy Dean Robert & Fletcher are posting on TH-cam again. The daily prayers make such a difference in my life. Thank you. P.S. the puppies are beautiful 🥰🐕
Huge thanks for this lovely evening prayer Dean Robert and Fletcher. It was wonderful to look at the breathtaking Transfiguration too. Also thank you for the Wordsworth reading. I hope the dogs settled for a snooze after their biscuits. 🙏🕯️🕊️
Thank you for the beautiful evening prayer. The dogs are wonderful, they reminded me of all the animals you used to have at Canterbury. I remember the way they sometimes were very rambunctious, especially the pigs when they were just babies! Have a blessed day tomorrow, today now actually. And have a safe trip back home. See you soon I pray. Love both of you.
Thank you Dean Robert and Fletcher! So happy with all your videos you both have been making for the GC! I have to admit - my Scottish Terriers are rather partial to this one- they enjoyed seeing the dogs play with their squeaky toys!
What a beautiful meditation on daffodils & favorite poets. So blessed & encouraged by the return, even if briefly, of the Garden Cong. This has helped me get thru a trying time❤❤
Dear Dean Robert and Fletcher, you give such joy and insight into us who have the privilege of joining you on your travels. Your patience with the “sweetest notes” of your canine garden congregants is a unique gift and an example to those of us with pets. Many thanks.
If only all the content on TH-cam was as peaceful and inspiring as yours. Thanks again for this video -- the transition to the dogs in the kitchen was lovely. I look forward to the next one. I want to add that your videos are what truly helped me through the Covid lockdowns of 2021. Thank you.
Dean Robert, you miraculously started doing morning prayer and now compline service the day after our Rector of 18 years retired. When many of us found you during the pandemic it seemed miraculous and inspired Rev. Randall Keeney our Rector to live stream a service every Sunday at first just he and his wife (camera woman) and then then the deacon and organist and congregants as we could and continued to livestream from Facebook each Sunday and each Wednesday a compline from his home. So what I’m saying is Thank You for filling a void many of us at Saint Barnabas in Greensboro, NC feel in our hearts.
Thank you for this lovely Evening Prayer! The serenity was palpable. (And thank you, Dean Robert, for reading the Wordsworth poem -- I had forgotten that poem and was delighted to hear it again).
How I love evening prayer. I think I saw Leo go by in the daffodils at Canterbury. Dogs are like children ,they make noise when you most want them to be quiet. The dog getting dragged by holding on to the toy was so comical! Fletcher I hope you are picking up ideas for your own gardening channel while you are traveling around. God bless you both.
My husband and I have just listened to this evening prayer. Thank you for doing this for us and the world. You are an immense blessing. Thank you and Fletcher.
This man brings such peace to me. I'm glad I found this channel. I used to watch on the other channel, but was disappointed when he wasn't there anymore. Are you not in England anymore?
Dean Robert, a walking treasure trove of divinity and God's love on Earth. How blessed we are to share in this ministry.
I couldn’t agree more! God bless them both.
And he is an animal-whisperer!

Dogs are not as quiet as cats, but nice to be with you in any setting.
