As someone said, it is like coming home amf knowing that the GC is still alive and well! Thank you soooo much for bringing this back. I am still watching the recordings every morning from 2021 to 2023. Such a wonderful way to begin every day. And what a beautiful space you are in today for morning prayer. I hope the four-legged fur friends are doing well and know they will be happy to have you back home. And many thanks to you, Fletcher, for the great video work Many many thanks to you both. Safe travels home. Dedy Traver, Church of the Holy Cross, Valle Crucis, NC
With George Herbert's beautifully mystical writing we sense the imprint of the essence of Christ. But, so too, in its own way, with Garden Congregation Morning Prayer. It's wonderful to experience this again. Thank you so much, Dean Robert and Fletcher.
Such a joy to have the privilege of joining Dean Robert in prayer and reflection at this Eastertide. Thank you for sharing this and I hope the storm eased 🙏🕯️🕊️
Thank you for sharing this beautiful and wild scene , the poetry, coffee pot, cup and milk jug. And the story concerning Peter. I think I have found a new beginning, a clearer vision. Looking forward to new days! Take care, Cynthia South Australia
Here in Norfolk UK we too woke (Thursday) to a dark wet and windy morning but such joy to say morning prayer with you all and bring forth light into my day. Thank you for sharing and for receiving your encouragement this morning.
How great to see and hear you two days running, three now righht? We visited Wilton House the year of the Royal Wedding. Shakespeare had been there before us. We took a rubbing back from Salisbury Cathedral. You've revived happy memories of that heavenly Summer's week.
Greetings from Chennai India. Sorely missed Morning prayers that sustained and cheered us through Covid. Thank you so much for resuming this blessed ministry and also for sharing your experiences in America through Fletcher's lovely photographs
What a wonderful surprise! Morning prayer is back! I've watched all the old recordings so new beginnings (& programmes) is a real Easter gift. Blessings to you for all you give. Those G Herbert poems are real faves ❤❤
Dear Dean Robert and Fletcher, You will never know how the words of a new beginning have touched my heart and soul. I have been spiritually in the desert . I suspect the words have also impacted you and Fletcher. To once again receive Morning Prayer such a personal blessing to me….also to experience you travelling through my country of birth for me this transplanted Yankee living here in the UK for 53 years with my English husband. I know all too well those Nor’easter’s. Thank you both so much.
Thank you so much, this is the new beginning my family has needed so much. We've been watching the "reruns" of Morning Prayer for nearly two years, and I had tears in my eyes tonight with these new broadcasts, you are spreading so much love dear Dean and Fletcher, thank you!
Just found you again for this year. So pleased to hear your current Morning Prayer again. Was reading April 2021 yesterday. Thank you for upholding me throughout the years and God bless you, wherever you are in our world.
Susan Bell is bishop for our city of St Catharines in Niagara. So excited to hear of your new connection! And so grateful to once again hear your heartfelt reflections on the Gospels.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow! You are back! Your voice calmed our family during Covid. So glad to see you and know you are both well. Looking forward to catching up with your morning prayer and meditation on scripture. Thank you!!
Life can be beautiful for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. For eyes that perceive the invisible, and ears that hear the music of the Spheres.
This is such a wonderful beginning. I have been accessing the reruns from the Canterbury Garden Congregation for my morning meditations. I am so glad they have been available but rejoice in these new meditations. Thank you so very much!
Thank you Dean Robert. You made many connections. You are masterful at this. I was born in Salisbury & know the cathedral well, also the little church at Bemetton.onr of my favourite walks is across the water meadows along the town path from Harnham, made famous by Constanle's famous Paintings.
Hooray! What a delightful surprise to find a new Morning Prayer session today. It was particularly helpful for you to give the page number in Daily Prayer that you are reading from as I like to follow along in the book as you are reading. I wish that I could help support your ministry (both you and Fletcher) in some way financially now that you are retired from the church. I don’t know if this is possible but I have received so much from your work bringing these daily prayer sessions to me. It has been a highlight of my days and I have learned so much from your explanations of the gospel readings. I suspect that there are other members of the Garden Congregation who would also like to help support your continued efforts at spreading the gospel through these programs. I know that there must be costs in doing this work, including internet expenses and camera equipment among other things. I know that other TH-cam channels are supported by Patreon donations, for example. Please let me know what I can do to help!
Thank you so much, Dean Robert for your uplifting message this morning. What a comfort you bring to so many of us with your gift of imparting Scripture with such realism and freshness. God bless you.
Thank you Dean Robert for the superb sermons over Holy Week and Easter and to Fletcher for blogs and photos. God bless you both. From Bristol, England.
