Did the same upgrade myself.. went from Makita corded trimmer to Milwaukee trimmer because I was fed up with waiting for Bosch. Overall it's mint but I'm not a fan of the position of the speed dial, I constantly knock it accidentally during use. I've also never put the dust extractor back on as I was routing hinges manually, but this video prompted me to put it back on now I'm using Fast Hinge jigs so cheers for that!

Bloody junkie scum know a builder that lost around $15k tools and a $10k trailer in one night on the south coast. After that had a boilermaker mate make me some heavy duty hinged right angle brackets with cut-outs for padlocks which swivel to the front then slap a bar through them both and lock it up. It makes the 5-6am jobsite unpack take a bit longer but I reckon it would be easier for the lowlifes to cut a hole in the side of the tool box rather then attempt the locks. Even adding an extra cheap metal shed shielded shackle lock will deter them. I got told by a cop in the family the standard locks that come with most tool boxes are childs play for decent thieves and are sometimes universal, he said around covid a team masked up would go into tool shops and steal the keys out of the boxes. Count yourself very lucky nothing major was taken, time for tool insurance and some cameras.

Nice one mate! Yeah the speed dial also feels pretty cheap too. Aside from that, it's a decent little unit though. 👌

Man, what a pain! I ended up picking up a Milwaukee one as I had the batteries for the nail guns. Not sure what the hold up is. 🤔
