Yes but in order to save both Ps5 and ps4 games in the same SSD it has to be a compatible M.2 SSD. I have an external for my ps4 games and I’m getting a new SSD mainly for my PS5 games. It’s up to you to set them up however you want.

The most cost effective is the cheapest you can find that matches the minimum requirements. Then just buy a PS5 heatsink, not a cheap laptop one. The PS5 itself tops out at 6500 read and something like 1500 write. The TEAMGROUP MP44Q 2TB is currently selling for $105 on Amazon. And the ELUTENG PS5 NVMe SSD Heatsink is selling for $9. This is a much better deal than whatever IGN is shilling

LoL 990s had HUGE problems bricking their ssds and other issues with degrading 25to 50% of lifespan in a few days to 2 weeks of use.
Lower thermals, not optimised for ps5, lower read and write cycle rate, more expensive and does not come with OEM installed heatsink.

it's all about installation and uninstallation of games. Wasting data if you got data (we got lots of data now. ) or time if you got the disk already.
