Why legendary producer Linda Perry says we need more women behind the scenes

As a producer and songwriter, Linda Perry knows how to pull something out of a performer that they may not have even recognized in themselves. She saw that massive pop stars like Pink, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani had something to say, and helped them find the words to say it. Perry sat down with Tom Power to tell us about her extensive songwriting and producing career.

She has written and produced so many iconic songs & albums. At this point she truly is an iconic artist! My personal favorite work of her is her work with Christina, it’s pure magic. The entire second disk of Xtina’s Back To Basics record was done by Linda. It’s a masterpiece!
