It was a very nice Episode...also it is funny since we saw Sabine, in this Episode, use the Force to move Objects for the very First time....and no one explicit mentions it^^. I mean we know she can feel it (or she would not being able to "hear" Ahsoka) but she never manipulated it as in this Episode (calling her Lightsaber, pushing Ezra and feeling Anakin)
Man it sucks that Ray died they clearly have so much more for his character to do. Makes me wonder who theyll get to play him in the future. But just freaking a great episode
I feel like no one caught this today when Ezra said that the blade emitter was too narrow. This is a dig at how rebels lightsabers were made to look so thin!
Now that Ezra is back to the main galaxy with Hera, I bet he'll be taking Jacen as his apprentice. That would be so nice considering Jacen's father was Ezra's master.
Rick Famuyiwa deserves huge credit, he directed some of the best mandalorian episodes and this was another banger. The lightsaber combat, especially Ahsoka vs Morgan, was absolutely superb.
Seeing anakin smiling at the end really got me he lost soo much trying to protect his loved ones im happy hes at peace being a silent watcher to those he loves.
This was such an amazing episode with so many call backs. I love that Hayden is getting love. I got a little emotional when they show him and see smiles
I smiled A LOT when Ezra went back home wearimg the Night Trooper's armor. I was really glad to see Diana Lee Inosanto put her martial arts skills to screen on Ahsoka's show. The thing thad made me smile most seeing how much Ahsoka resembles Anakin now. She already has a little bit of Darkside in her, like Anakin, just as "future Ahsoka" pointed out in "Overlords." And she began the first episode doing some Darkside interrogation that isn't shown on screen. But Ahsoka is just as warm and gentle as Anakin was to her even she did some really messed up stuff, like when rightfully upset at Christophsis and over Ryloth; he took a pisitive, upbeat attitude with Ahsoka. Ahsoka came to Peridea with Anakin's forgiving, upbeat attitude. "And miss this reunion?"
Also the final fight with Morgan Elsbeth vs Ahsoka was amazing, with Diane Lee Inosanto proving she doesn't need stunt doubles, she is really her father's daughter...
This series actually got me all excited for Star Wars all over again. Jon and Dave has really done an excellent job on these series’. I can’t wait for season 2 and the Thrawn movie!
Exactly yoo for some reason people dont like it and i dont understand why. I never ever thought we would get any continuation towards rebels but we did here. This show was incredibly entertaining and all those bad reviews can suck it truly
Kind of crazy how he didn't just dock in space to prevent the rebels from getting on board or how the ring fit perfectly around the ship as it floated just above the Temple or fortress. Whatever it was that was never explored.
I don’t think Sabine ramming the tie fighters was a bad choice, but the only choice in the moment. The ship couldn’t fight and was mostly disabled at that point.
“He always stood by me, no matter what anyone said. That’s why no matter what happens next. I’m going to be there for you” 😢 😢 seeing Anakin’s force ghost at the end of this episode makes this line hit even harder. Even with his new cosmic role, he wants to be there for his “snips” during this difficult time. Shit is so beautiful Amazing finale to what’s been the best Star Wars project in a very long time. The time and effort that Dave Filoni and everyone involved put into this deserves all the praise. There’s still so much more to tell with this story though. I hate that we didn’t get more of Baylan’s “power” that was calling out to him. Since he didn’t die in the finale I’m guessing that means he’ll be recast? It hurts so much because Ray was an absolutely amazing actor and a great guy, but the character just has too much potential to let go right now. I think we all expected there to be some kind of catch with all the “I can’t wait to go home” lines that Ezra was dropping, but I didn’t think he’d be the one going home and they’d stay on the planet. How are they gonna get back to the main galaxy? This is going to be so interesting. If they’re out of the picture, surely Luke, Leia and Han gotta be involved in the coming projects. Still laughing at Morgan getting a power upgrade only to get left behind and die lmao Shin redemption arc WHEN
ll good observations. Morgan's biggest mistake was to accept her new powers. Her loyalty to Thrawn shifted then to the Night Sisters. He was there and saw it, probably also aware that she did nothing for the Empire and his plans. He didn't even have to hear her say it. She must have thought she was being so coy when she said she did it for Dathomir while out of earshot. An unacceptable outcome! She gains power, sure. But he can deal with three Night Sisters who can't move between galaxies the way she did. He brilliantly orchestrated events for Ahsoka and Sabine to kill her so they wouldn't blame him for his dirty work. Now all he has to do is drop three of them off on Dathomir before they go rogue against his plans for whatever reason. He used them all and can toss them aside when done with them on his timetable. Always strategizing, he is.
The finale had expected and unexpected events. We all knew Thrawn was gonna escape. Was so cool to see Morgan get blessed by the great mothers and Baylan on the Father’s statue.
Loved seeing Ahsoka become more of a true Jedi master who is standing by her Padawan no matter what, just like Anakin did for her. And Anakin's force ghost watching over her at the end only made that hit line so much harder 😭 This show was beautifully done and I cannot wait for more!
best moments of this episode 1.Morgan Elsbeth vs Ahsoka duel 2.Ezra and Chopper reunion 3.Baylan standing on statue of Father also Ezra did that double force jump in Rebels with Kanan also is there possibility that Night Mothers revive Mother Talzin?
I think the Mortis gods will play a role in Baylon’s and Ahsoka’s storyline and the mountains confirmed that for me at the end of the episode. I think in afterlife Anakin took his place to maintain balance like the Father did before him, but he does it by influencing living force users. He will play a more important role in season two
Those statues of the Mortis gods remind me a lot of the statues in Lord of the Rings that they saw when they were traveling along the river. And I don't think that is a coincidence. :)
Maybe if the sequels never happened, but they did and we know it all falls apart. The only "excitement"- if you can call it that- is in discovering how it all falls apart.
@@dan79600 Okay, so if new stories that might even be good don't excite you then why are you here? We already know how the stories that already have been told play out so that doesn't matter because they are not new. In my favorite line from the Gladiator movie -- "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED???"
The Fact HuYang is now in the other galaxy permanently making his stories about "the galaxy far far away" literal, HE REALLY IS THE TITLECRAWL!. Can't believe how much room we have for story going forward.
my theory is that in the second galaxy people treat the mortis gods and the nightsister as actual gods building statue and temple and in our main galaxy we just hear fairytales of them until now
Ashoka vs morgan was such epic duel the best one so far in this show the choreography was insane too Very sad her shoto blade got destroyed guess ahsoka will have make another one 😂.
Master Charlie.. that last scene showing Ray standing on that statue and the wind blowing and the music swelling... OMG that was an epic EPIC last scene for the great Ray Stevenson. Someone needs to make that a gif or if people make a tribute video to him they have to use that as the ending for their video.. man o man... Also the music they had during the whole episode sounded different than the other episodes...same as the end credits. That made me feel like i just watched an awesome Star Wars movie!
Kevin Kiner’s music was exceptional throughout. The music sounded a lot like the music from Rebels especially after Ahsoka fought Vader in Twilight of the Apprentice.
My thought was Ezra and Hela will figure something out in season 2 to save Ahsoka and Sabine. But to keep Ahsoka and Sabine occupied and part of the story, they will be dealing with their own interpersonal issues while dealing with whatever Shin and Baylan are up to on the planet
thankyou all for enjoying my uncle stevie as baylan. he loved it but he will be missed more than movies where I cant count great performances. hope he lives on. I believe now he pulled an obi won note... I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. the force is with him always. personally as a fan I want to see thrawn face wen he learns or finds the kids but a must Luke. seems to foreboding all things anakin. you've been so gracious. thankyou again. may the force be with you uncle....always.
This episode fit perfectly for Halloween in October. Loved the overall feel. Hope we see Ahsoka use the Sword of Talzin in future episodes now! Does it pierce Beskar?!
@@KermitOfWar that is no mere sword. One the sword is crafted by nightsister Magic meaning it is resistant to lightsabers similar thing happened when Savage Oppress was given a staff by his mother. 2 btw that is the same mother who in a sense Force ghosted herself to a planet in an effort to try and resurrect herself with the force energy from lightside aligned beings known as the Bordata. That plot was ultimately stopped by Jar Jar Binks and Mace Windu. You may ask yourself why is this explanation important it's because that is the very sword that she wielded against Windu.
Little note on the Father statue-it’s not a closed fist if you pay attn. It’s actually pointing outward towards the valley we see over Baylan’s shoulder.
With Anakin becoming the Father and Baylon looking for that power, I hope we will see a confrontation between the two. We still don’t know how he knows of Vader or who his master was, that feels like it will be important. Also I thought there was a bit of an ominous vibe at the end when Sabine sensed his ghost and Ashoka saying they were exactly where they need to be. I wonder if Anakin is acting in their best interest or if he will be closer to a force of nature that uses Ashoka as part of his balancing act
One thing I liked was when ashoka locked in against that witch sister, this episode was badass, and I loved the chem between the trinity, it was so slick tho, and seeing Sabine going back to help Ahsoka was right otherwise based on how it was going she would’ve not made it, but this was it, it’s going down in the best history books of star war live action.
I predict that Asohka and Sabine are going to go into the world between worlds next season to get back to the main galaxy and that Mando and the Mandalorianss will have to deal with the resurgence of Thrawn and his New Empire whilst the New Republic runs itself into the ground
1:16 Yeah! The "The Jedi, The Witch and the Warlord" Episode Title gave me some Narnia Title vibe! 😄 Like The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I don't know if it's intentional but it's pretty funny! 😀😂
Ahsoka is an incredible series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to season 2. Phenomenal detailed reviews Charlie along the way made informed viewing even better. My theory is that if Baylan isn’t recast then they can say he didn’t survive the Mortis temple because at some point Ahsoka and Sabine will investigate what he’s been up to while stuck on Peridea. They can also use this time to train Sabine so she could be more powerful in the force on her next appearance.
Awesome ending. Perfect set up for the Dave filoni movie. Can't wait to see that! Also loved the rebels finale like feeling that the show had, it was so cool🔥
I love how there’s literally nothing said in the show about the storm troopers red ribbons and you just assume that it’s a night sister majik and put it out as fact
This episode really hit me in the feels. I LOVE Star Wars Rebels and Kanan is one of my top 5 Jedi. Although we only got to see him as a picture, hearing Huyang talk to Ezra about him and even giving him the top duplicate lightsaber piece to his hilt was awesome. I'm grateful for outlets like this to discuss the Star Wars Fandom cuz I don't have a lot of people in my social circle to talk about the amazing world of Star Wars.
The loss of Ray Stevenson is a huge hit for the show...I was really invested in his Baylan character 😥 Great episode/finale...looking forward to seson 2 to see Ahsoka & Sabine's adventures in a galaxy far...FAR away
So when Anakin and little Ahsoka showed up I knew I had to get on the hype train. I knew of Ahsoka and liked her character but never watched Clone Wars, maybe a few scenes here and there as they played on Cartoon Network. So two weeks ago I decided to watch Clone Wars and Rebels (using a guide of course) and was just so amazed. There were quite a few episodes of Clone Wars, well more so scenes, that instantly felt familiar as I started to realized I more than likely watched an episode every once in a while. I love Rebels by the way. I also watched Mando S1 S2 S3 and Book of Boba Fett. I was able to catch up to Ahsoka in order to watch the finale with everyone else, which was my goal, and I was so amazed. I don't like when shows on Disney+ rely on cliff hangers but I feel like this one is so different. While I do feel like Baylan and Shin story was rushed and it's unfortunate we only got 1 scene each for them in the finale, everything else was so intense and I was on the edge of my seat. If this is where Star Wars is headed, I'm so excited to finally be included.
I dont think the "cargo" is zombies. There is a mention of Thrawn "waking" the nightsister mothers when he arrived, makes me think the "cargo" are all nightsisters in cryogenic sleep. If I had to guess, he is going to repopulate Dathomir.
I dunno, I think thrawn realises the night sisters are a future threat to him and won’t look to create an even bigger threat. The night sisters were killed off by the Empire remember
@@davidgeisler9885 Thrawn always has an ace of up sleeve, no doubt he has a contingency for any trickery. You have to remember the reason the Empire killed off the Nightsisters was because of the Emperor and Vader being Sith, the connection to the force was a threat to THEIR power. Thrawn doesn't view the force in the same way, to him they are powerful and a better ally than dead, so he might take the risk. Too bad we have to wait till Season two so we can find out. 🍻
@@AzraelsTear Thrawn would likely assume the Sith are not gone forever and therefore still a factor if not right now then inevitably soon. He would know that a re-emerged Sith will take control of any "Empire" that exists including one that Thrawn may have created. In fact, IIRC Thrawn was loyal to the Emperor. It follows then that Thrawn will know the Night Sisters will eventually seek revenge on this same Empire. So I feel Thrawn is using them to his own short term ends and trusts them as far as he can throw them. And Vice versa, I think this is an uneasy alliance of short term mutual goals. Once one side no longer needs the other for anything, that's it all bets are off. He also understands the threat presented to a non-force sensitive like himself by any type of Force user, even just one like he found with Ezra.
Baylan Skoll was such a great, compelling character in this thanks to the fantastic portrayal by Ray Stevenson. Thank you so much, Ray. Rest In Peace 🙏
Excellent recap! Just wanted to point out that Baylan is standing on the Father's index finger, which I believe is pointing at the beacon atop the mountain across the valley.
Dude! That clip of Sam screaming Kenobi was terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time! lol. Good lord that poor obi must have dirtied his pants there haha 😂😂
He’s not going to attack the New Republic Head on. Remember he’s the rebel now. They have to gather forces. The Galaxy will deny he is back, they won’t have proof. Ezra will feel like he’s going crazy. Dave HAS to make the New Republic look completely broken to save the sequels. It’ll take Luke, Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Mandalorian crew, everybody to barely defeat Thrawn because the New Republic is so broken.
I don't know if thrawn noticed the ship going missing. For one thing as Ezra is really good at being able to evade capture when he wants( and escaping when he is captured). With everything going on I think that the nightsisters were too distracted to detect Ezra getting onto the ship. And let's not forget Ezra has a penchant for impersonating people in order to try and hide( something that he's done since his literal first scene on Lothal when he lifts an imperial communicator)
I’m a busy man, I miss rewatching shows and diving deep into lore, God bless Charlie got breaking it all down for an old man like me Never change Charlie
My Family, friends and I enjoyed the whole Ahsoka series and give this episode a solid 9. We all know it was going to end similarly to how it ended. We saw Hayden/Anakin force ghost was a wonderful add on and hope to see more of him. Wanted Baylon to live and now we saw what he was looking for. Ezra is back home seeing Hera, Sabine is with Ahsoka protecting the Noti, Hatti seemed to be allied with the Nomads or taking them over as a war chief. Grand Admiral Thrawn will take over the shadow council for project necromancer to have time for it to work. The Great mothers escaped that higher power that Baylon was looking for.
I took Sabine walking off while Ezra and Huyang were talking was because they were talking about the connection between master and padawan, and that made her go look for Ashoka so they can finally repair their connection.
I really hope they are not permanently stuck in the new galaxy. I'm assuming the new republic will develop something to travel between galaxys. Ezra won't leave them there. That last scene with Anakin hit hard. He's so proud of Ashoka, he's always with her, and this is most likely the last we will see of Anakin. She said it's time to move on.
Wow, what an amazing analysis of the season finale. After missing on a few things after E7, you really nailed it on this one. What a great way to wrap season one of Ahsoka. Really enjoyed and appreciate the season long analysis. Although I thought Ahsoka wasn’t all that great overall, your walkthroughs really helped bring it all together and make it more enjoyable. So THANK YOU! I look forward to more future content analysis. 😁
I really enjoyed the finale definitely hopeful for a second season , and i cant wait for the filoni film maybe theyll recast ray stevenson characters still alot to talk about for this show as a whole this was a very fun show i cant wait for more star wars content soon.
Also dont forget how Thrawn learns from getting new tech. A SUPER hyperdrive ring could give a tactical advantage to the Empire. In the novels, he get schematics for Gravity Well Generators and uses then so well.
If I had a nickel for every time Filoni introcduces in his series a unique sword, holding some meaning to certain race, quickly changing ownership through defeat in battle... I'd have 2 nickels, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Wonderful episode. You can see the growth of Ahsoka assuming the role of true Jedi Master. We also learn why she was so reticent to train Sabine. The theories being put out there by the fans are so exciting. Season 2 can’t come soon enough.
OMG HOW IS SHE A JEDI ..... NEVERY COMPLETED TRAINING .... NEVER DID TRIALS ..... AND QUIT AND WALKED AWAY ........ FYI LUKE AINT A JEDI EITHER ..... IT AMAZES ME HOW PEOPLE CANT FOLLOW A STORY ...... STICK TO TIC TOK LOVE ...... YOUR HUSBAND NEEDS TO MODERATE YOUR SCREEN TIME
@@butchwoods9099clearly the title can be claimed by Jedi without going all the stages from the old ways. Otherwise how does Luke claim the title, as you say? Fact is GL called Luke a Jedi in the title of ROTJ remember.
I was seeing a lot of channels last week complaining that they wouldn’t have time to wrap up all the stories, I’ve assumed we were going to be left on a cliffhanger and wanting more since episode one. This sets up so much, Sabine getting even more training, a continuation of baylan and shins story, and let’s our characters sit things out while the story gets developed in other media.
I was under the understanding that when Kanan was a Jedi youngling/Padawan, his name was Caleb. So why did Huyang recognize him as Kanan? I didn't think Ahsoka was around when we found out Kanan's true name either.😊
Hera always knew his true name, she could have told Ahsoka and Huyang. It's also possible Ahsoka knew all along. We see a young Caleb watch Ahsoka train, so it's possible they met during the Clone Wars, and Ahsoka just called him Kanan in Rebels because she respected his decision of keeping his old identity secret.
In the military we studied the principles of war: Objective, Offensive, Mass, Economy of Force, Maneuver, Unity of Command, Security, Surprise, Simplicity. It looks at Thrawn, just like the Empire has since the beginning, is using what we in the military call, the principle of mass. The principle of mass is to concentrate the effects of combat power at the place and time to achieve decisive results. This is done by using a large number of fighters, ammunition, etc.
Keep the videos coming sir! I typically have these up on my second screen. I enjoy everything these shows are offering and always like the Easter eggs!
@@harrisonhagg2939 exactly I wanted more of an “ Omg this Thrawn is going to cause some Havoc” I didn’t get that through this season He was an extremely polite Villain He gave the protagonist loads of perks
Absolutely what an amazing amazing finale and I’m glad they set up set up what’s to come. I’m still sad that Ray Stevenson passed away and we won’t be able to see him as Baylan anymore so if they are planning on recasting I hope whoever the new the new person is this person can pick up where he left off and be a really good Baylan
I noticed that when we see Baylan Skoll on the gods' statues, in the horizon there is a small lighting like if it is the same place where Ahsoka died for a few moments during the mortis gods' episodes
Can you explain the motivation of Thrawn again? I’m confused. People say that he only served the emperor because he was afraid that the Empire is a threat to his homeworld, but now the emperor is gone and the empire shattered, why does he care? Why does he say ‘Long live the empire’ this doesn’t make sense for his character. In fact, he should be giddy and just go home to his people. What am I missing?
@@chibidakis1 yes!!! thank you, that is my fear as well. Almost all the TH-camrs I watch indicate that Thrawn is not just your typical villain who just has rage issues, want to conquer the world, or just your run-of-the-mill baddie who is power hungry. BUT from this season, especially the final episode, he just seems to be that (though he is cunning, calm and intelligent). But his motives is unclear - Why does he support the empire still???
@jojoedada2920 in the expanded universe, Thrawn was still with the Empire after Palpatine's death was because the Empire had a better chance against the Vong invasion than the New Republic
All the callbacks to rebels were just great. Each scene Anakin has been on has been just wonderful! For some reason, Sabine character feels stale/flat to me and does not resonate with what's happening in the show. Perfect example, her reunion with Ezra, it did not reflect the ordeal and sacrifice that took place for that to happen. I think Jacen might become Ezras apprentice, which would be awesome. Love the show. It feels like it's re-energizing Star Wars, and I can't wait for what's next.
Can't remeber if you mentioned this or not. At thre end of Ahsoka, only she can see Anakin because he only let her see him. Like Huyang said earlier in the episode, "The relationship between a Master and an apprentice is as challenging as it is meaningful." The entire series has been about that relationship, Anakin and Ahsoka, and Ahsoka and Sabine. The core thread of the series is how Ahsoka felt guilty and blamed herself for letting Anakin turn to the dark side and become Vadar. That guilt held her back from training Sabine and stopped her progression as a jedi. Letting go of that guilt was Anakin's true final lesson (at least for now) for Ahsoka. He only wanted to share that final moment of the series with her because of that special bond Huyang mentioned earlier.
I loved this series! I hope with Thrawn and the witches being on Dathamier it can include a live action Merrin. Id find it hard to believe she wouldn't feel thier presence on her home planet that she believed she was the only nightsister survivor of the Separatist perge led by Grievous. I feel like we will be getting Cal in live action hopefully in season 4 of Mando.
I was disappointed in the finale. It did have some interesting elements, the Mortis elements, Anakin force ghost, Thrawn & Ezra back in the main universe, the witches, etc. But I really wanted to see more of Baylan, and his motivations, I thought some of the fights were a bit lackluster, and not enough Shin. I was hoping the finale could have been at least an hour. I guess Baylan and Anakin and maybe Ahsoka are destined to be Mortis gods? The owl was shown for a brief moment (incarnation of the daughter & Ahsoka’s protector), and force ghost Anakin, so I assume Dave is setting up the Mortis elements in season 2. Season 2, I can’t wait for because there are some interning threads teased. Thrawn & the witches in the main galaxy and an impending war coming. How long are Ahsoka and Sabine going to be stuck in the new galaxy?
I really enjoyed this series and am sad to see it end. I really wish they had more episodes!! I do wish they did some back story...what Ezra did when they got there and how he got to the turtle people. What happened with Thrown and is troops. Are they the guys in red? There's like 10 years of backstory that we don't know and I have questions!! 🙂
I guess know we know why the House of Wren wasn't part of retaking Mandalore or even why she wasn't there. I hope they keep her underpowered with the force though. Also, do we really need Thrawn to be betrayed though?
Agreed. He's too much the tactician to be betrayed. Both sides using each other for the common goal of returning home makes sense. Now figuring out how all this story plays out in the sequel universe is where my heart breaks.
I think Filoni is developing Sabine into a Mando/Jedi hybrid fighter. Her use of blaster and lightsaber at the same time just seemed like the "right" combat style for her. Also, if we've learned anything about Dave Filoni from him canonizing so many Legends story elements, I don't think he would just have Thrawn be a straight forward enemy of the New Republic in the same way the First Order turned out to be just weak imitation of the Empire under Palpatine. If he follows Thrawn's character from the books, we know his main motivation for joining up with the Empire was to protect his own people, the Chiss, from what he perceived was a worse threat, namely the Grysk.

i was emotionally happy for Ezra coming back home to the main galaxy and reunited with Hera and Chopper
I don’t think Sabine ramming the tie fighters was a bad choice, but the only choice in the moment. The ship couldn’t fight and was mostly disabled at that point.
I actually saw it as a literal manifestation of the old adage killing two birds with one stone
Shit is so beautiful
Amazing finale to what’s been the best Star Wars project in a very long time.
Still laughing at Morgan getting a power upgrade only to get left behind and die lmao
Shin redemption arc WHEN
ll good observations. Always strategizing, he is.
i love anakin just watching over ahoska and just being proud of her
Ezra's "The blade emitter is too narrow" is a riff on everyone who said that the lightsabers on the Rebels series looked like toothpicks.
The finale had expected and unexpected events. We all knew Thrawn was gonna escape. Was so cool to see Morgan get blessed by the great mothers and Baylan on the Father’s statue.
I think Balon wants to either become one of the mortis gods or he wants to use the WBW.
@@kdusel1991Ezra will open WBW on Lothal and rescue Peridea party
@@Subremedy The Lothal temple was destroyed.
Even with no lines in the finale Ray Stevenson's performance was amazing. It won't be the same without him.
Loved seeing Ahsoka become more of a true Jedi master who is standing by her Padawan no matter what, just like Anakin did for her. And Anakin's force ghost watching over her at the end only made that hit line so much harder 😭
This show was beautifully done and I cannot wait for more!
best moments of this episode
1.Morgan Elsbeth vs Ahsoka duel
2.Ezra and Chopper reunion
3.Baylan standing on statue of Father
also Ezra did that double force jump in Rebels with Kanan
also is there possibility that Night Mothers revive Mother Talzin?
I think the Mortis gods will play a role in Baylon’s and Ahsoka’s storyline and the mountains confirmed that for me at the end of the episode. I think in afterlife Anakin took his place to maintain balance like the Father did before him, but he does it by influencing living force users. He will play a more important role in season two
This episode has me so excited for all thats to come & left so many questions. Looking forward to see how the Grand Admiral Thrawn series continues
Those questions probably won’t ever be answered. Even in season 2. 🥴
The Night Sisters' reaction to Morgan E going down tells me that Morgan is perma-gone. "No more resurrections this time..."
Those statues of the Mortis gods remind me a lot of the statues in Lord of the Rings that they saw when they were traveling along the river. And I don't think that is a coincidence. :)
Plus The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe reference with the title.
*Predictable ending, but it leaves star wars in a very exciting place*
Yah I thought Sabine an Ezra but she stayed, which was cool.I LIKE IT ...
ITS ALL COMING TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!
Maybe if the sequels never happened, but they did and we know it all falls apart. The only "excitement"- if you can call it that- is in discovering how it all falls apart.
Woooooaaah, y’all predicted that? Genius !

Ahsoka refusing to train Grogu and Sabine for essentially the same reason show’s a continuity of character arch that I appreciate.
It’s something that happens when you’ve got ppl in charge who knows what they’re doing
Still a little conflicted on that though. Ahsoka's smart enough to know the difference between having attachments and letting them control you.
my theory is that in the second galaxy people treat the mortis gods and the nightsister as actual gods building statue and temple and in our main galaxy we just hear fairytales of them until now
Finally Dathomir will get revenge....

Ashoka vs morgan was such epic duel the best one so far in this show the choreography was insane too
Very sad her shoto blade got destroyed guess ahsoka will have make another one 😂.
Yeah that 2nd rematch was pretty fire and the way she then killed her with both her lightsaber and her sword was very quick and swift
Well Huyang can make sabers for days
That fight was my favorite part
She had them both on her hip when they went back to the village after that tho
@@wolfgang6442 TBF Ahsoka has been mercing people with their own weapons at least since she was 18 years old
Master Charlie.. that last scene showing Ray standing on that statue and the wind blowing and the music swelling...
What about the whales?

Are Lightsabers really that suspectable to breaking mid-fights? For such a "powerful" weapon, it's pretty weak.
@@KermitOfWarI mean she did cut the hilt in half
@@skyy_raider8994 like Dooku cutting the temporary green lightsaber that Anakin used in Attack of the Clones
When Ezra says “the blade emitter is too narrow” it’s a meta reference to the skinny sabers in Rebels
yep!
The Ahsoka Finale was so AWESOME all the way from beginning to the end. And so many theories.
Like The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
Sabine is a force sensitive 😢 very disappointed 😞
I love how Ezra off-screen stows away and steals a shuttle.
Awesome ending. Perfect set up for the Dave filoni movie. Can't wait to see that! Also loved the rebels finale like feeling that the show had, it was so cool🔥

Yes the rebels vibes were all over this episode.
I love how there’s literally nothing said in the show about the storm troopers red ribbons and you just assume that it’s a night sister majik and put it out as fact
great ending for the season finale can't wait for more of the nightsisters in season 2
The loss of Ray Stevenson is a huge hit for the show...I was really invested in his Baylan character 😥
Great episode/finale...looking forward to seson 2 to see Ahsoka & Sabine's adventures in a galaxy far...FAR away
That seems like a dangerous proposition for Thrawn, given he has already destroyed their temple.
@@badredfinn2982 I dont know, I would think a ship full of nearly unkillable, nightsister controlled, zombies would be a bigger risk.
This is by far my favorite series and love ow it's all coming together, and again great video
There’s around 40k dead troopers in that single cargo bay. How many more are in other bays?
Dude! That clip of Sam screaming Kenobi was terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time! lol. Good lord that poor obi must have dirtied his pants there haha 😂😂
The fact Ezra got out, apparently, so easy must imply that the ship is being tracked.. Specially when talking about Thrawn
@@wonderifthisistaken1 sure
But knowing where your enemy is, is valuable not only for attacking but strategizing. Or even infiltrating, if needed.
Love that Ezra comes from Mace Windu’s line and Sabine is the next in Yoda’s line of apprentices it all comes full circle.

Amazing finale. Can't wait for Season 2!!
She can call some Purrgil no problem
I suspect Baylor then Ashoka will find the World between Worlds to return
Wow, what an amazing analysis of the season finale. After missing on a few things after E7, you really nailed it on this one. What a great way to wrap season one of Ahsoka.
Huyang Says clever boy Caleb was. I am sure the time Ashoka spent with Huyang she would of talked about Kanan.
@@AgusSkywalkerAhsoka knew Kannan name. She knew his master

Nobody believing the warnings that Thrawn was coming back, was almost like nobody believing that the White Walkers were coming
Lol because HE’S the emperor now.
Exactly. I fear Filoni is just tossing all of Zahns' hard work on Thrawns back story just to use Thrawn as another "villain"
@@chibidakis1thank you. Ok, that makes sense - hopefully they are going down that path. That’d be interesting!
I think the Great Mothers have to be doing their chant to raise the dead
yep!
Can you imagine how it is going to look bringing all the game, movies and television characters together!
Sabine’s fighting is like the blaster and blade stance from Jedi Survivor
I predict they’ll get back by episode 3 or 4 of season two.
Completely agree. It was fine, but disappointing compared to the potential and no substantial payoffs yet.
The whole episode was ment to be a cliffhanger... So you being disappointed is kinda the point... leave em wanting more.
It was better than I thought it would be
I really enjoyed this series and am sad to see it end.
