I have fat under my eyelids and when i told to the doctors, gus what they said, that is nothing while i am struggling with fatty liver or some liver diseases. They said that my liver function test is normal while it isn't.I almost stopped to go to doctor's office. I am learning very crucial health information on you tube and face book.I can't thank enough for those both of them. I can't thank you enough to.Very detail and useful health information. My doctor wanted me to take statins and subscribed them for me. I told him I need my healthy cholesterol, changed my diet and exercise habits. I found a formula to determine if I was at risk for heart attacks. The formula showed that I was not at risk at all just because my LDL's were high. They were simply balanced... I'd just lost 50 lbs in three years prior to my doctor's lab blood work! I need to come to your clinic to fine tune my health. P.S. My doctor, unfortunately, is very overweight. Looks like you have a facility in Lexington Ky and I live in Cincinnati Oh. Thanks.

Walk 8,000 to 10,000 steps per day and do resistance training 3 to 5 days per week. Oh, and get morning sunlight. Then you wont need to worry about blood work.

Simple solution. Exercise and support your program with healthy foods to lose fat. Once one is lean and fit, most if not all metabolic diseases are gone. Then, you don’t even need to bother about insuline, ldl and other markers, or what diet one follows.

its not that simple. In my youth,I used to feel the same, especially since the silent and unseen chronic diseases manifested themselves by 70 yo . Those are ticking time bombs due to our diets . "Healthy foods? Who defines those terms? Those linked to the food industry, politicians,FDA ,many that profit from the food industry directly or indirectly . WTFU Many of the foods the shills promote give us chronic disease later " Those that make up the vast establishment incl some MDs lie to us, for all kinds of reasons ,but usually to maintain the status quo and continue to increase profits,,or simply not to risk losing their jobs., Dr brewer is one of the most accurate MDs out there and there are a few. He discusses things we all should be educated about, but will largely never ocur. Before the days of the internet we were crawling out of the dark ages . Theres no excuse today. The truth is out there, but you need to know where and how to ask the right questions in your search and be able to navigate the mis or partial information that still remains. Thanks that Dr Brewer is here clarifying many questions I have

59:09 The pharmaceutical companies fund the medical establishment, including the medical schools and medical journals. (With advertizing.) It is no surprise that doctors, when they have a pill to treat a symptom, reach for the pill rather than go into questions of lifestyle, with "unpredictable results".

Interesting results from the GTT. A thorough test took 6 hours years ago. Results showed extreme low blood. I drank the terrible sweet drink. The high number stopped at 90. At the end of 6 hours the low level stopped at 31. I sought help cuz I had no memory, no words to say, so weary. DX was not Hypoglycemia, even though the test result was clearly severe. In the 60s /70s, Low Blood Sugar was denied as a DX by the Medical Association. The DX was Adrenal Deficiency/Exhaustion. TX was hormone injections, ATCH, not Prednisone. I did get a shot. A miracle happened that night in the hospital. A bright yellow sun broke thru the black color in my mind. I felt alive. Could not afford that TX. The alternative was to stabize the inflamed pancreas with the same 150 calories 12 times a day. Used rye bread with a protein, cheese, egg, meat. No sugar. Herb teas, water, broth. Food calories aimed to prevent spikes and lows in blood sugar levels. Worked cuz I was only 31 and motivated. After a year, I was strong, stable, healthy taking care of 3 kids, husband, learned to drive a car finally. A healed pancreas. Improved adrenals. Totally motivated to get well. Added regular food, not sugar. NO sweet tooth here. Discovered black coffee again. Back to baking. Salads, veges, stews, fried chicken. Real Maple syrup for pancakes. So lucky to have found the MD who treated me outside the box. He was right. Even calorie intake saved me by cooling a hyperactive pancreas. I chose to follow the 12 meals a day for a year. We found that low blood sugar runs in the family.

One way is too reduce sugar, starchy foods, and saturated fats for starters. I have type2 diabetes and wasn't even aware till my late 40s; luckily there wasn't too much damage. I now have macular edema on my right eye and not sure I will regain my vision, on anti-VEGF treatment to reduce the swelling under the retina. So if you are young watch out with these process foods and eat/drink rarely if at all. OK take care....

Thanks for the refresher course and right on time! On Tuesday, the 29, I met my second opinion cardiologist " the original wanting to help me with a Halloween mask, by giving me zipper looking stitching near both carotid arteries. Have you guessed what character I'm doing my best not to look like for Trick or Treaters?
Yet I've degressed. My confidence is very high
that I will not get any stitches for Halloween now that I am very well armed. "Thanks to you" with the knowledge you laid out that I've created bullet point notes to bring with me to the appointment. My cardiovascular snafu really shocked me. Like you, I took care of body, nutritionally, regularly seen my doctor with yearly bloodwork. My doctors telling me everythings looking good. My bloodwork numbers are the same today 'no different" from my first. I also played organized sports into my fifty's and resistance trained to keep fit. Started regularly at the age of 25 and stayed motivated through my mid fifty's.
I'm 6'4" In my twenties, thin as a been pole. father razed me that I needed to run in circles in the shower to get wet, attech a string to my body so wouldn't go down the drain ect. I've never weighed more than 205lbs in my life no mater how hard I may have tried. I'm still sporting my 6 pack abs I've had from childhood. Today I'm 62, 179 lbs resistance training agian after a stint in my and iliac failed for the third time, and doing whatever I can to avoid the Bypass " fasting, walking or riding bike everywhere I commute.
I apologize for going off on a tangent. I'll finish quickly my cardiovascular snafu hit me hard and heavy, starting like I pinched my Siadica one day after being restrained in shackles attached to my bare feet "the weight of them baring on my piping common to my ankles", cuffs attached to my hands in front of me, then attached to a common chain that was locked around my waist. Placed in the seated position in cramped space for 60 hrs those
chains stayed on. When they were finally removed I noticed both of my feet had swollen to an ungodly size but no bruising. After the swelling finally went
Down I noticed both feet become very very sensitive with numbness from the tows to the pads and when I walked within a city block my leg felt like it was on fire. After a short rest, the fire would cool down so I could continue walking for another block, repeat cycle. After finding that requested the proper exam an electromyograph "shock treatment" be perform was I diagnosed as acquiring "like within days" neuropathy in both feet. My next appointment was at the cardiologist with a Doppler Ultrasound Specialist. She quickly understood what he issue was cased by and that it is fixable settings my mind at ease. My doctor latet said I would need a stent placed in the common Iliac artery. But You know as well as I do "Getting OLD Is Not For Sissy's..."
Thanks Dr. Ford Brewer (🛻) for sharing your experiences and valued educational wisdom...❤️‍🔥 God Bless...
    P.S. It's a Ford!

In other words is this kinda yea the inflammation is lowered but we still believe deep down still believe the old theory that LDL is bad and must be driven down (law of primacy that which is learned 1st is almost unshakable) or is it we don’t care about quantity of LDL only quality and we track the inflammation and use Statins only if inflammation is high? If you do use statins for some lipid lowering then do you test to see if a person is a hyper absorber or hyper responder prior to the statin? In other words do you use Lipid production drugs and Lipid absorption drugs or mostly like mainstream just give Statins 1st?

Dr. Brewer so what causes Insulin Resistance? Is it excess fat or excess sugar? Twin Cycle theory or Carbohydrate Insulin Theory? How do we avoid and get out of it if we don’t know which to address sugar or fat. If we go on a low fat diet then we have to add sugar (carbohydrate) for energy. If we go on a Low Carbohydrate (sugar) diet then we have to add fats. Energy comes from Fats or Sugars. We cannot live off all protein.

I think you mean Fasting Insulin test , instead of an oral glucose tolerance test.Your insulin can be "normalising " blood glucose to mask the symptoms of diabetes for quiet a while ,apparently , so you might think you're only pre-diabetic when you are actually diabetic. But that insulin will be chronically elevated, and show up on a Fasting Insulin test .Then ,you can work at changing what you're eating etc a lot sooner ,and minimise any damage that would otherwise be caused.

So I've come to the conclusion that I have black fly disease. I killed a fly the other day and it was a flesh fly. I'm trying to get an appointment with a doctor that will diagnose it I got a picture of the fly that I killed the other day. I also got pictures of what's coming out of my urine and my butt and and what's coming out of my skin I held one of the worms on tweezers.
I'm tired of these lousy doctors that they don't do anything and then they write that they do all this stuff on your chart so when I saw I went through all the notes and stuff that they wrote it's just I'm so upset and I've been suffering so bad for 4 years I had to take two forbearances I'm already disabled my back I can barely walk and my hip has to be replaced. But this skin thing really took me down I've been stuck and down in the basement of my house for 4 years living downstairs and I didn't go anywhere I've been depressed cuz it looks awful. And they said I was a picker I'm like I've never been a pic or in my whole life I've never even had sores like I had beautiful skin before this. So I I ripped them up up and down in messages to them and said they're so wrong and I explained everything that the doctor said I was obese because of my calorie intake maybe it's cuz I can't walk I said I'm just so hurt right now I feel so depressed I'm in a lot of pain I got to take a shower and go see the doctor for the first time and I got all my evidence I think I should print the pictures out though at CVS and pick them up or something Even my lymph nodes were swollen I went for a mammogram and then I had to get a then she sent me to get an ultra ultrasound or something but I didn't get it ultrasound they said it was just you know swelling lymph nodes they should go down you know if they don't let him know and then I went back there cuz I broke out with these worms and I had red patches all over me and there was all swollen and half of my face That's when I went in cuz they've gotten bad. I just I'm in I'm in Massachusetts and Springfield and I can't find a decent doctor that will help me with this nobody knows about it.
