Jjust by observing how everything works I found that this is exactly my problem. The other problem is that I can't seem to find the solenoid anywhere in Europe for 240V. Samsung just sells the whole assembly. At least, now, I know what my problem is.

I just replaced the solenoid on mine and it still isn't switching between cubed and crushed. I have checked all connections and they are all good. What else can the problem be???
