Thank you so much for your help. You are a real professional repairman. Don’t worry about the camera movement; the video is well worth watching with it.
I enjoyed watching the video. Thank you for clear instructions. I watched it 'cause I was looking for a specific thing to see how it is done, but unfortunately for me you didn't have to do it. Can you please tell me how do I replace water line coming from the inline connector at the top of the fridge, down to the water dispenser? Just that bit inside the door. Your help would be appreciated. I've been looking for this particular video for 2 years now and I couldn't find it. Cheers mate.
Click this link this video will show you the part that was bad however, they don’t sell the Berber salve anymore at least for the model that I’m working on th-cam.com/video/8kqA3TmIV2s/w-d-xo.html
How common are defective filters? And can they go bad after “while” or would they just not work at all after install? I feel like mine quit after some time, so it was not that immediately upon replacing my last filter. Upon initial troubleshooting, we removed the filter because I was told the fridge did not require a filter to operate. Is this also true?
same here. I have not replace anything yet. I still get water and bottom tray ice but not at the ice dispenser. This happened after i installed GE whole-house-filter. Could it be low water pressure. My water at the faucet coming out still very strong pre and post whole-house-filter installation. What could be wrong? Best buy wants to charge me $180 to have geek come to repair but I'm very handy. I just need leads to go from here. Have you guys found the solution to no ice at the dispenser ? Thanks Fridge only 1 year and 1 month old . wow so sad
There is a valve in the area of the water filter. That valve gets stuck open and needs to be replaced. Another reason could be the switch getting stuck when you press it with a cup.

Great video, loved the step by step explanation for everything!
-Is there a way to fix the filter housing without replacing the whole thing?
Unfortunately, Samsung No Longer Makes Just the Filter Head for this Model, Which is Why the Whole Housing Would Need to be Replaced.
If water is leaking from the clip surround the gray line in the back, is it possible just to replace that connector?
How about getting water but no water for ice?

Great video. My samsung fridge (same as yours) got water but no ice and it seem ice maker got no water. Can I go thru the same step?
I have the exact same problem! Replaced filter housing, water inlet, door switch & of course a new filter. Still no ice! So frustrating...

How much can we charge for that job. Labor only
My water dispenser is stuck opened can I just buy the valve and replace it?
My Samsung French Door refrigerator gets water, but not ice. It is fully defrosted. The valve won't open to fill out the ice tank.
This is and honest question. Why not just replace the water valves?
@@jaycole3768 years ago they used to sell it individually. Now they only sell the whole part assembly.
@@jaycole3768 I got a couple of videos on my channel replacing only the water valve or only the filter, but they don’t sell it like that anymore
I have a Samsung fridge with a water dispenser. When pressing the dispenser, it doesn’t stop dispensing water. It’s not stuck. Any idea?

Why de housing failed?
I didn't see you attaching ice maker water line
In the minute 14:45 it’s when I attach the icemaker waterline you don’t need to attach anything inside on the outside
You only have to connect it outside you don’t need to connect anything inside the icemaker compartment 14:45
Thank you I love your videos keep up the good work.
I just watched your video. I have exact same refrigerator and water not running
