12:40 Just today, just an hour ago, they rolled out firmware 6.9.3.1, which doubled the outer meter zone. They also promise to improve the stick latency. John Punch is testing it right now. P.S. Bobmez review!
Hey cuda what do you think best controller for like stick drift and no delay I don’t care for paddles and not really on a budget really just for best long lasting controller I can buy and have protection with.
The C and Z buttons on my Vader 3 pro were a game changer because I FINALLY found a great solution for a PC controller with a dedicated push-to-talk button. I'm sure other controllers have a similar solution, but not many at this price combined with all its other features, I'd wager. Don't know if I can ever go back now
Exactly! The extra buttons go a long way for PC gaming. That’s what’s honestly kept me from just buying and using some standard switch, PS4, or Xbox controller because despite their seeming reliability they lack reliable extra buttons. It’s only 6 extra buttons than a normal controller but they really go a long way.
I almost didn't watch this video because of the length, but this may be your best video ever. I think this could be the beginning of a quick boost to 100k subs. #BlackFlag

Most modern games expect a circle stick, so use circle mode so that your diagonal movement stays 1:1 and you don't experience outer-deadzone shenanigans. However, if you're playing Rocket League or other PS3 games, use Rectangle mode, because the DS3 had rectangle sticks, and PS3 games expected rectangle deadzones. Using circle mode there reduces your movement. In Rocket League for example, you can flip more times in the air with rect. deadzones.
I bought the Vader 4 Pro Black Flag and im loving it so far. Everything about it physically just feels so much better than my Xbox Series X controller, thanks for the great review!
I bought a Vader 3 Pro a while back, I use it plugged into my PC for the fastest response time it can offer for my PC gaming. I really love the Vader 3 Pro and vastly prefer it over mouse and keyboard and gyro is a good replacement for mouse input in that case. The Vader 3 pro changed my life, but, you are right with the issues with the brand, personally the buttons in the back have terrible placement and the mobile app is awful, but in general you can't buy a better controller for that price, IMO

Hey bro, i am looking for a gyro controller particularly for Pc and everything becomes so interwined. Ps5 is out because of stick drift as well as Edge.
I bought the apex 4, worked great until one day it just wouldn’t turn on anymore. Got a new one from the manufacturer and a week later same exact issue. Any idea why that is? Thank you
I have both but prefer the apex 4 for everything but fps games and have no issues with the sticks. I drilled a hole in clear shell so i can adjust stick tension without pulling it all apart
7:49 got this controller for the past week around the tightest setting the movement of the stick isn't as smooth it feels like you're only moving the stick up and down and left to right the other directions aren't really there when you're on the tighter end :( sadly I had to reduce the tension to halfway
Dropping this comment for any FPS gamers who are worried about the back buttons - Gotta say, I think the rear buttons are about as good as it gets. Elite being my original favorite. These are great, I play Apex on controller, PC, have hit pred, these back buttons are VERY good for avoiding inadvertent inputs. I have 0 complaints.
@@jardygiovan yeah. The only people who think they're bad are the people who only use two paddles, IMO, I'm pretty sure my man in this vid is a 2 paddle user based on something he said as well.
Those back buttons on the Vader already makes the controller a no go for me. Still seems like a good controller for the price. Interested to hear your take on the new Razer Wolverine V3. It's been my favorite controller so far. Plus the 4 back buttons and two extra top buttons all feel really good. It's only 20 bucks more if you're willing to buy the wired one. bro i love how real you are for these reviews, i rarely subscribe to people but you earned mine :) #BlackFlag
I appreciate your standard of honesty and thoroughness vCuda! Unrivaled breakdown of thumbstick design including bearing structure reliability, adjustable tension weight, inbuilt HE sensors, and "subterranean" anti-friction rings. Yes, you said that right ;) #blackflag
I was thinking of getting this but now I'm thinking of getting the wolverine V3 as the wolverine V2 was one of my favourite controllers yet
You like overpriced shit from Razer that much?
Great review 😮
honestly i love the two back buttons at the backside but not in the middle, dont know why companies keep doing this
Which controller would be the one for lowest stick latency?
Patiently waiting on that cyclone 2 review from Vcuda
Getting ever closer to 100k subs
Hey bro, i am looking for a gyro controller particularly for Pc and everything becomes so interwined. Ps5 is out because of stick drift as well as Edge.
I bought the apex 4, worked great until one day it just wouldn’t turn on anymore. Got a new one from the manufacturer and a week later same exact issue. Any idea why that is? Thank you
Did you try charging it? XD
Great review. Wish I watched it before ordering due to the reliability issues. Lesson learned. Check your channel before ordering.
I love these videos and am really hoping to see something like this on the wolverine v3 pro.
I have both but prefer the apex 4 for everything but fps games and have no issues with the sticks. I drilled a hole in clear shell so i can adjust stick tension without pulling it all apart
Black Flag looks cool
Would you say this is worth it for console owners who wanna play with an adapter?
Good to see a vid from you Vcuda super entertaining #BlackFlag ps its my bday September 30th 😏
So nice to know that. The controller is as perfect as it gets, just didn't know about the back buttons tho. Gonna get one for Christmas
@@jardygiovan yeah. The only people who think they're bad are the people who only use two paddles, IMO, I'm pretty sure my man in this vid is a 2 paddle user based on something he said as well.
Getting this controller specifically for apex. Can u share ur flydigi software settings:?
Those back buttons on the Vader already makes the controller a no go for me. Still seems like a good controller for the price. Interested to hear your take on the new Razer Wolverine V3. It's been my favorite controller so far. Plus the 4 back buttons and two extra top buttons all feel really good. It's only 20 bucks more if you're willing to buy the wired one. (On the V2 the usb c connection port on the controller is a failure point so who knows if they fixed their design flaw.) Watched to the end of the video as I typed this, sounds like a review is already on the way, nice!
Just sucks you can’t bind the buttons to keyboard on razers
@@MrDoordude125 You right, I'd bind them to macros for some real cheater type shit tho. I'd never drop another combo and I'd have instant supers.
@@5371W I like just using the keyboard binds for better control. I do like that razer is a controller you basically can’t cheat on tho
@@5371W the $100 wired one isn’t even out yet bro
What's wrong with the back buttons
I preordered the Gamsir Tarantula Pro I hopefully you can get your hand on one. Eagerly waiting for the review
