What I first flipped open Caprice I was blown away by the printing quality. I finally saw why Burns decided to print his comics/illustrations in France rather than US.
That may be true, but also I feel he wanted to put out his new story as a single volume for bigger and more commercial impact. Release date has been delayed btw.
I’m a big Burns fan so I get the French and US books! Yeah, I’m also disappointed that the Final Cut will be smaller dimensions when released here in the US. I missed out on Modern Horror. It’s tough to find a reasonably priced copy.
Thanks for this! They sure waited a long time to put out a U.S. release of this material, so it invites comparison. Why they called it Kommix, I just don't get. I wonder if it was timed to ride the wave of Final Cut-or to promote two books simultaneously. Or maybe just a rights issue. I appreciate the peak inside Caprice & Modern Horror Sketchbook.
C.Burns is all time favourite. Now waiting for the Final Cut hardcover. Thank you for the video. 👌
Cornelius has beautiful editions, not just for Burns but pretty much everything. I wish they would have english versions.
Nice little addition to the Burns library. I loved it, since I don't have those other books of yours. ;)

@@jeremystone286 Yeah, according to Amazon it will be the same size, but according to publisher it won't so who knows! :)

I was disappointed with Kommix. I didn't realize it was not a graphic novel with a fresh story. Nonetheless, cool graphics inside.
