Hi, I am a graphic designer and I mostly watch youtube videos about art and, well graphic design but also manga. This must be why the algorythm made your video pop up. I only rarely comment. I now do this because it gives me a throwback. When i was younger I also did this. Back then the manga I wanted to read were not translated into english. So I only had fan translations. What you do us really cool. It also gives you skills. The way you duplex printed and calculated the pages was very impressive. What I really loved was the fact that you embraced that the cover would not fit (made me mad back then!), clever solution! If you want more power for the back try a thin mesh or thin piece of fabric. Do not glue the back of the gover to the fabric, this way the papers can bend (only if you use flexible glue). Love it go on! One more thing. Ignore the haters. Always! There will always be people who do not understand what you do or why. Or they do not want to. All they want to do is bring you down to their level so that you suffer with them. Leave them there. Use your energy for yourself. Go on, be creative!

This tutorial is honestly great if your bored or something but 500 rupees for a manga is not that bad considering it was 5 riyals in oman which is about a thousand rupees.. and 1500 is very cheap for 11 volumes. The end product literally looked like the one i have ❤

Yup with the help of brush...and a non thick glue... But it made my manga wobbly bcz of moisture so i recommend u to follow another binding method.... I'll upload one whenever i get time
Ive always wanted to do something like this for one of my favorite manwhas as it didnt have an english publication only Korean Italian French and German. I even have all the translated chapters/volumes downloaded.But after what 10 years they finally are making an english Omnibus of it. Im super excited to have my favorite manwhas to my collection. 🙏 I dont need to print pages of it like his hahh 😅 I think it be cooler to make the colored mangas volumes now like Naruto Bleach One Piece colored pages. Worth way more.
@@dakumasuta1303 Its called Immortal Regis with its sequal Cavalier of the Abyss. IR ends in a sort of cliff hanger, theres a time skip and the sequal begins. CoA sequal wasnt good if im being honest, the only time I liked it was when it focused back to the original characters. IR is all right, I still love it and will get them not CoA dont care for it.

Umm...it's the only confusing thing while setting the pages...so These these pages are known as double spread pages...and to do that After u download the manga...just put them on Adobe InDesign as i have already did in a tutorial vid....and the just check it by your own while u preview it👍🏻
Just make the manga first....and then measure the thickness of it....and then make it little bit more wide than the manga like 1mm or 2mm and that's it

Umm I printed on thick paper of 180 gsm...for cover...and u can't use fevicol ...bcz it will make it messed up....and check description for the material I used 👍🏻

The reason there are official printings now in those countries is because of the traction and popularity of anime, which is an advertisement to go read manga. In India a lot of webcomics are not available,so making our own manga is the only way left ..... By the way in the Adobe ID settings u chose A5 doc but for the paper A4.... Is it adjustable please let me know....

Ummm,.. editing doesn't took that much time...and making it takes time...bcz it wants it to dry...and the size of paper for whole manga is a4....but while editing I chose at bcz we want 2 pages of manga on one side of a4 👍🏻

Umm.... downloading manga covers is a pain🤧...but you can find them...on their fandom sites like if i want a demon slayer manga cover...I'll search as "Demonslayer fandom volume 1 cover" Umm...u meant that pages that takes whole of the 2pages to show a one big image in manga?

@@not_a_common_artist I do with a normal PDF in Adobe reader in booklet mode. I thought it makes it a lot easier but when it comes to the image of two pages, some are right but others are wrong. I legit just got volume 1 of chainsaw man for $12cad. Most Manga in Canada is thankfully pretty cheap. Newer things like Chained soldier ran me $18cad though. ₹550 Is like $9cad which is not a lot, I don't condone stealing Manga. This is an art, respect it.

Hello, just did my first manga book today, I couldn't fit the cover to wrap all the inside content of the book. I wonder if you find out a solution for this mistake. I used also 120gsm papers, and cover was small. I made a lot of mistakes which made end result terrible. Mistakes I did: 1- forgot to configure printer to be A4 size ( letter was picked ) so fucked up all prints. 2- glue on wrong side, forgot that it's right to left. 3- glue is not good at all 4- paper trimmer I got doesn't have good indicators so ended up fucking size around 5- A4 cover didn't fit my manga books tho it was only 50 papers ( I used 120gsm paper ) 6 - cover is not glossy which doesn't give a good feeling/touch how you can learn from my mistake, today was my first manga attemp and it was 3/10. Also I noticed that book is bigger than english manga I got so need to make it smaller for next print.

IR ends in a sort of cliff hanger, theres a time skip and the sequal begins. CoA sequal wasnt good if im being honest, the only time I liked it was when it focused back to the original characters. IR is all right, I still love it and will get them not CoA dont care for it.

Umm I printed on thick paper of 180 gsm...for cover...and u can't use fevicol ...bcz it will make it messed up....and check description for the material I used 👍🏻

Ummm,.. editing doesn't took that much time...and making it takes time...bcz it wants it to dry...and the size of paper for whole manga is a4....but while editing I chose at bcz we want 2 pages of manga on one side of a4 👍🏻

I legit just got volume 1 of chainsaw man for $12cad. Most Manga in Canada is thankfully pretty cheap. Newer things like Chained soldier ran me $18cad though. ₹550 Is like $9cad which is not a lot, I don't condone stealing Manga. This is an art, respect it.

Hello, just did my first manga book today, I couldn't fit the cover to wrap all the inside content of the book. I wonder if you find out a solution for this mistake.
I used also 120gsm papers, and cover was small.
I made a lot of mistakes which made end result terrible.
Mistakes I did:
1- forgot to configure printer to be A4 size ( letter was picked ) so fucked up all prints.
2- glue on wrong side, forgot that it's right to left.
3- glue is not good at all
4- paper trimmer I got doesn't have good indicators so ended up fucking size around
5- A4 cover didn't fit my manga books tho it was only 50 papers ( I used 120gsm paper )
6 - cover is not glossy which doesn't give a good feeling/touch
how you can learn from my mistake, today was my first manga attemp and it was 3/10.
Also I noticed that book is bigger than english manga I got so need to make it smaller for next print.

And yeah use 80gsm page....120 for manga pages is too much
