- Well I didn't have time time to chase down any new projects. A few folks wanted to know the status on the loadstar. I just had fun with this video! What started as a carb rebuild quickly turned into me fixing the floppy hood. Then we rebuild the carb, then we have fun! Hope yall enjoy!

I don't know what I'd do without you and Mortske. Don't take this the wrong way, please, but you two guys have mad me laugh more than I have in a long time. I painted my So. Cal sun faded F-250 "Corporate Ford Blue." Ain't nobody ever called it anything other then the smurf truck.
I seen a video from junkyardigs that had a will it run on an old roll off flatbed truck that had that same color Blue cab when I seen it I thought about how it would be awesome if puddings Fab shop had it for his shop

As a retired auto body and paint man it amazes me that a lot of people don't realize it is way harder to do a repair that blends in with the existing patina than it does to do a show quality paint job.

You’re right if there’s not a good foundation there ,you can have a nice paint job but if it’s falling apart and running a cramp the car is worthless.

I love patina. Some people just don’t get it though.
I was lucky enough to inherit a bunch of old school body tools from my dad that work in this domain. There is a body hammer with a spiral pattern on the face that draws the metal together as you tap on it.
They also used lead as filler in those days.
I love the old ways.

I love your builds, Hell I'm making my chopper have a patina paint job. I really respect a person that builds something their own way. Why be normal, be crazy and do it how you want it. I can't wait to see you put a 1 ton frame under her. I hope you put some big old streel wheels with some large aggressive muders. Be it it two or four wheel drive.

I love the mocking! I’m not a big patina fan, but I sure would take a well built vehicle over a shiny painted one everyday!.BTW, could you send poor Mortske an extra loser switch. Poor guy was out in a field in 125 degree weather with no loser switch. I would, but I’m on a fixed income! I don’t know why they call it “fixed” when I’m always broke! Great video Puddin!!!

Patina is my favorite color. The other day a guy pulled up next to me at a stoplight and told me my 65 patina f100 "had potential". WTF does that even mean? I put the $ in the motor and suspension. Keep up the great work keep doing you. 👍

Enjoyed that one! I've grown up with these old Binders. I learned how to drive stick in a 1964 Loadstar 1700 just like ol' Wilma here. Grandpa bought it new in 64..... My father-in-law has a 1968 1750 with a DV-462 V8 diesel and a tag axle. Very sweet rig that's in epic shape. Great patiner on her..... "A little fun fact". That cute little yellow C-900 that Mortske picked up was actually ours. Grandpa bought it back in the late 60's and used it until the early 70's. The hydraulic clutch took a shit and he parked it. We used it for our garbage truck. We would pile all our crap in the back and use the Minneapolis-Moline to pull it out to the garbage pit in the south 40 until 1991. That's when he gave it to the people Mortske got it from. Enjoying the videos brother.....

Damn good panel work on that bonnet, Puddin'. Sometimes you just gotta fix on what pisses you off most before getting to do what it was that you started out on. Done that many a time....and at the end of the day, I may still have a car that wont run, but the doors shut nicer and the bumper aint gonna fall off in a hurry any more.
I love that big Roadstar - that low rpm idle is something only an engine with a big ol' heavy-ass flywheel can do. She may not rev quick, but the torque will take you straight up the sides of three-storey buildings every time without stopping!
Loved the footage of the interview too, but you'd think Courtney - sorry, Kate - would have taken the time to shave before she went on air. I mean, network television should have standards, you know?
(By the way - love how your daughter is actually driving a car, mate. A lot of teenagers at the moment (over here at least) would prefer to use public transport, walk, (or the favourite) whinge how people wont take them to where they want to go, instead of going to get their own driver's license. My girls - 17 and 20 - have theirs, but they come from a family of petrolheads....AND they were taught to drive a manual (stick shift) too!)
