i like his comment about making sure you are ready for a zl1. i have a ss 2019 and i can get squirrly with that. for me i dont think it would be the best for me. but you gotta love the hp that thing puts out
I had a 2020 now have a 2022 .10 speed auto .Simply the best american sports car for the money .Period. I ve had a 2011 zr1 a few c6 z06 and i prefer the Zl1 over all of them.
How did you like the ZR1?
I'm currently contemplating on getting a 2019+ ZL1 or a R35 GTR(2009-2015) since they're close in price. Since u have experience with both maybe do a video about it(pros/cons plus which one u prefer). GTR's hold their value well but ZL1 come in manuals. If I can get a good deal on either one, I'll just go for it.
Both are great cars but completely opposites of each other, dual clutch vs manual, rwd vs awd, supercharged vs turbo (puts power down differently) In a case like this it just comes down to you driving both and see which one feels more comfortable for you.

I’m going to have to disagree on the interior, I think it’s great especially if you spec it out properly with the carbon fiber on the dash and the suede arm rest. It is definitely better than all other muscle cars when it comes to quality imo
Especially with the amenities like cooled seats and heated steering wheel
it's called a FLOWTIE they made the front bowtie that way for the reason of getting more air flow. obviously you'll be going to the drag strip but have you thought about doing road corse racing? that's what this was designed for and that's where it really shines.
Im debating making it a road coarse car but the problem is there is no road courses around me
I got my blue ZL1 back in early December. I'm in love again! ❤ Back in the early seventies I had to sell my '68 427 Camaro to get a place to live when I started my new family. It had about 425 to 450 HP and I thought that one was fast. No comparison! I always said that one of these days I'm going to buy another one. So 45 years later I have finally gotten it! I'm on cloud nine! WEEEEE!!!

I have a 2022 ZL1,,in Vivid Orange Metallic,,,Love it 🎉,,the things that I think Chevy fell short on are ,,I do like the rear camera but I have to refocus my eyes to use it and it should have a 360° camera,,,with the poor visibility it’s hard to see any curbs in parking lots and when you are pulling into a spot you need a front camera so you don’t cave in the front spoiler,,,also the rear camera the coloured lines are very faint,,,I replaced the brake pads,,way too much dust,,(I also did that on my C7 Z51 corvette ) and no garage door remote? 😮,,the alcantera on the steering wheel and shifter knob,,,should be leather so it can be cleaned and sanitized,,,I found a silicone ( skin ) for the wheel and looking for one for the shifter,,,

Only thing I don’t like about the rear view mirror is the way it makes headlights flicker and I think I’m getting pulled over, again.
How is the ground clearance on this vehicle? Just trying to confirm if I need to be careful pulling in and out of parking lots and driveways. Thanks 😁
Steep driveways are not doable even at an angle it will scrape and lift back wheel and not go up them. Only complaint. I just bought house with driveway and garage for my zl1

@@LextasyNation I’ve been in dodge and mustang interiors and tbh the Camaro is my favorite, I personally am a lover of the color changing LEDs never get sick of them. I like how the challenger is a bit more clear out the front but other than that I feel the seats don’t hold me in as well as the Camaro seats tho. And I am one of the few that enjoys the aluminum trim on the car, I’ve owned mainly BMWs, well really only BMWs and I enjoy the Camaro interior a lot more. Granted my BMWs have never been year model only late 2000s and early 2010s but, yeah I stand for MOST not all of the Camaro interior, they could lower the door sills tbh
Hellcat or GT 500 are both 100k or more and this ZL1 is 70k and there interior are not much better not 30k better. CT5-V is also over 100 k and its alot nicer but its alot more also.
Exactly, and I never understood the criticism of the infotainment screen, I think it sits perfect in my opinion

you can always make a faster car go slower, but not make a slower car go faster. i have a ninja zx10r (after having a bunch of zx6 bikes. i don't even use the power of the 10r that much, but it's nice to have if i want to really get on it. can't make my 6's go faster
The only thing I would change is upgrade to a full exhaust system other than that the car is perfect

@@LextasyNation do headers/ x pipe with roto fab intake and leave the stock npp. It sounds perfect, quite when cruising at low speeds and high way driving, no drone or anything I drive mines and forget I even have headers on sometimes because it’s not as loud in the cabin and it sound crazy when you get on it the way it supposed to sound and it has a nice choppy sound at idle as well not to loud and has that nice aggressive sound too on every start up and not just when it’s a cold start.

Have you looked at the interiors of the Mustang GT500 and the various Hellcats? It’s a MUSCLECAR, and both of those are MUCH more expensive than the ZL1.
To be fair sticker Price for a hellcat and gt500 starts in the 70’s
How come went with ZL1 and not GT500?
I was debating it but not worth paying almost 100k for a mustang lol
Try working on a gt500 , cams , getting into motor , lt4 is user friendly
