    I would also like to add that one of the most important factor in health and long life is fasting. Fasting not only increases the life span but it helps the body to recreate cells inside the body. When combined with sleeping before 11 pm and getting up early, we create a healthy creative person.

      It's very hard to eat healthy during Islamic fasting though.
      Even though Muhuhummed saw ate healthily.

      @@misbahailia3345 With some little changes, we can. The science behind avoiding sugar and fried foods is that it does not increase insulin hormones inside the body. This in turn stops you from being too much hungry during fasting. And if you eat more protein like meat eggs cheese beans and chicken without too much masala and made in ghee it keeps you full all day long. Eat only complex carbs like barley and dates and some fruits etc, the food can remain very tasty and still be healthy. Just avoid sugary drinks sugary foods and items made of maida and rice and fried items.

      It is important to remember that though saturated fats are not bad for normal people and keep you full longer they also double the calories and one can eat too much of it.

      My mother n father regularly fast on each Monday and Thursday also on 13-14-15 of each Islamic month. They are alhumdolilla healthy with at the age of 70+

    Agar is discussion ko conclude kiya jae tou ye hoga k:
    * Quran aur Sunnat k mutabiq zindagi guzari jae.
    * har waqt weight k baray me sochtay rehnay se weight kam honay k bajae aur he barhay ga q k ksi bhe chiz ko bht issue bnana bhe khud aik stress hai.
    *Proper time pe 5 meals liye jaen jin me se 2 snack time hun baqi breakfast lunch n dinner.
    Portion control me healthy eating ki jae.
    * exercise n walk ko daily basis pe 1hour kiya jae.
    * water intake 10 to 12 glasses ho
    (Try to drink warm water)
    * sleeping time 8 hours.
    * Think positive, speak positive n stay happy always.. aur khush tab he raha ja sakta hai jab har haal me Allah ka shukar har waqt kren gay ham.

    Very informative discussion. It takes a long time for our social attitudes to change because we are afraid to change our deeply held beliefs. The biggest advantage of this discussion is that experts from this field are expressing their opinion.
    Another thing that I enjoyed a lot is the polite conversation of these people. I remember the politician when they are talking in debates, in which ignorance stands at its peak. Alas, these politicians are running our system, they are our rulers.

    Doctors throughout the world are not taught about diets not only in Pakistan but in the developed countries. I personally know about doctors in USA and UK that they cannot guide the patients about diet plans. One needs to consult registered dieticians. My own experience.
    I suffered from acute obesity for two decades. Always asked my doctor what to do. None of them had the answer. Then I went to a registered dietitian. And it really helped me.

    Mashallah a great iniative on such an important health issue which has been ignored for such a long time. Many children are not taking a proper healthy breakfast before going to school. I suggest small booklets be distributed at school level for awareness at early level.

    Humai bachpan mai walden simple khana dete thai na pizza tha na burger roto salan chawal parathai andai dood sabzian daal. Ab har cheez artificial hogaee hain mothers lazy hogaee hain pese sabk pas agai hain and easy cooking to prefer kartai hain islie process food can food take aways mamool bungia . We have to change minds and you worked hard to help those parents.

    Healthline writes “Mulberries or mulberry extracts may be beneficial against several chronic conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.”Shehtoot is a super food. At my home in Pindi, decades ago, we had the best honey white shetoot. The fruit was huge too. The tree gave so much fruit but no one ate it. It was crushed under feet. People didn’t know that shehtoot is a gift by Allah. By the way these ladies are so smart. MashaAllah. Please explain in Urdu what does life modification means.

    It is my humble opinion that Muslims all over the world need to follow a diet that reduces the consumption of sugar and sweets. They should reduce consumption of white flour and rice. They should also reduce consumption of frying oils to the minimum. They should increase the consumption of beans and pulses and vegetables. And if they can afford they should increase the consumption of eggs, chicken and fish. This will reduce the incidence of obesity, diabetes and heart attacks and lead to longer healthier life

    Initial in his career Qasim Shah used to wear
    the Suits which were as lomg as his Qamees.
    Now a days he learned that he can wear now Qamees which actually is at Suit Height..

    Hum nay kbi school time ma breakfast nhi kiya aur lunch b 4 bajay kartay thay 2 or 4 kilometre travel kar kay.

    Here l would like to add that there is difference between Junk food and unhealthy food.
    Junk food is any food which doesn't provide all necessary nutrients., like chips, French fries, soft drinks etc., but foods like Burger, Pizza, Noodles can be made nutritious, when vegetables, corn ,beans and meat is added, however, adding extra cheese can make it unhealthy.
