The player's real name is Matthew not Marcus. It's revealed in one of the last races on the PSP version which takes place in Tokyo. It's also the name of his voice actor.

EDIT: I totally agree with you on the fact that it had much less content than MC3 and a new game engine.
To be honest I kinda think LA is not bad game at all and it's great game for PS3 and Xbox 360 as Midnight Club game and also the game still looks and has lots to offer better than new racing games nowdays even if I can include NFS Payback (and NFS 2019 when I see how the game is and what is it about when it will came out), I still however thinks 3 is my favorite of the series shame stuffs from 2 like characters and personality aren't in 3

On that scene where you pointed out the Police Car driving on the sidewalk, at 8:59 you can hear a crashing noise, so I think it's the AI of the Police Car bugging out, crashing into the wall, and decided to just drive along the sidewalk.

After so many years of playing this game back when it came out I will never forget the moment when I had to race for Pink slips against lester to win his Mazda rx8 and I remember I got close to the finish line but my Xbox controller died so I had to recharge it but it resulted in my Xbox closing so in the end I lost my mitsubishi eclipse and I was devastated so I bought the 64 impala out of frustration and won it back but then forgot I still had to beat him again to win his car and so I decided to turn off autosave and beat him first try and it turned it back on 😂

Never finished this game. Couldn’t progress. My Silvia I had for about 5 hours and wasn’t able to get a second or third car during that time period. So I gave up and traded it in.

I remember how crews used to go in the lobby to pub stomp specifically blacknation under rage.
One problem I had was that he told me to get a bike when I beat him using a bike.
When I play MC: LA "Remix" on PSP with emulator, i was skeptical because my favorite is MC3 and i barely care about others like LA or 2, even the first (Street Racing.) When I play LA, finish the main carrer, and try Tokyo Carrer... I start having a question like you; why there's never a PC ports? (expect 2 that the only one to have PC port) and if they can port "remix" version of LA to PSP, then why they didn't do the same for MC3 Dub Remix? (Insert the cancelled soz). So to me, MC: LA is basically MC2 1.5 or something like that... Especially in it's driving physics. Both are almost the same, which is frustrating if you feel it and to the point of me pulling my hair off in certain sections... to come from MC3 and to LA or 2 since they have different physics.
Now maybe there's someone out there that gonna stamp me as a nerd, but whatever of that to be least expected... Since it's my personal opinion and rant.
Also, great video as always, and thanks for still making the parody despite the damn copyright abusement that's going on today. Gonna be waiting for the MC2 from you.
P.S. i imagine when the FD fanboys and girls when they see the junkie Andrew kick his RX7 when he lose to the player, they either sphasing out (if that's how you spell it) or just be like "insert curses."

He's been snatching my cutscenes from my walkthrough i made in 2017. But forgot to credit me. Though i never did post a time lapse on making the wrap
Was gonna say no but now you know who that 3KGT belongs to in paint wrap design.
I loved and raved about this game initially but by the end I came resent it. I got tired at the point that every race demanded that I use one of the exotic a class cars or be left in the proverbial dust because they were not satisfying to drive at all. Far to arcady for my liking. Unlike some of the luxury and muscle cars or the Aston Martin. Also, races being used for several different competitions and a resultant feeling of over familiarity also told after many hours of play. Admittedly, its not just my lack of enjoyment that meant that I did not finish the game. I was finding the last races quite difficult and was not good enough to finish the game. But, importantly, the game never made me want to get good enough to finish it (as has been the case for so many other games).
You do know they set the game up so that the better you do, the harder it got right?

Midnight Club LA On PSP has extra story where you would be in Tokyo and racing the best Midnight Club members there. for MCLA for not having PC Port is because RAGE engine was so hard to use like look at GTA 4's PC Port it was complete mess (but not as messy as Saints Row 2 on PC)
