Let's be fair, the original parody was really bad and really needed a remake. Keep in mind this is a parody and this is way more better and shorter than the original. It's how they are as company. Sure they are successful and always bring some of the greatest games but it's how they are as a publisher and how they are to developers in just how they care more about money than what the consumer wants.

I like the game. Car handling was great, graphics were great, locations were amazing, story was bland, quick time events...I didn't hate them, but I didn't like'em either. The events were intense AF. I don't know...this game did a great job being what it was meant to be. Just a clusterfuck of fast driving, intense races and cop chases.
I don't understand why everyone hates this game so bad. It's not Most Wanted, but not every NFS has to be...

No this game is actually amazing I think. This is what every android game should have been.
You know how you jump into, let's say any android game, maybe it's a dungeon like in the new dungeon hunters and you walk 10 feet and then the level is over with. Well if it was built well like this game you would have atleast enjoyed the 10 feet of gameplay.
I think the reason why people hate this game is because they prefer open world nfs instead of linear world nfs
The thing is that The Run is clearly an attempt to model from the success of Hot Pursuit, but completely failing to understand what made it successful.
It's the second-best of the Black Box games (though it's not exactly a merit), but it's still average.

Also side note: At the final event, Marcus's Tier 6 One-77 got switched for a standard tier 5 One-77 with a shade of purple that is unusable in order to make it harder to tell the difference between the two cars. Reasons why could be because of balance issues (I mean, we already saw how he rubberbands with VTEC and no NOS in the shipyard), but I see no reason why the cars have to be switched. Also, RIP blackbox.
The only 3 differences about why Marcus's tier 6 Aston Martin One-77 had to be switched to a standard tier 5 One-77 are:
A:The wheels on the tier 6 One-77 are the Lowenhart wheels while the wheels on the tier 5 One-77 are just the standard wheels.
B:The tier 6 One-77 didn't had an NFS logo on the top while the tier 5 One-77 had that NFS logo on the top.
C:The tier 6 One-77 didn't have the spoiler elevated upwards at high-speeds while the tier 5 One-77 does.
These are the reasons why both tier 6 and 5 had to be switched at the final race for some unreal reasons.

Honestly it was easier to take Darius and Razor seriously than the House in Payback or the Mob in The Run.
House be like: "Let's bait the heroes with gold plated cars and put easily defusable bombs on them! They'll never see it coming MUHAHAHAHA!"
Meanwhile mob be like: "Send every hitman we have after him, just make sure to tell them not to actually hit him otherwise we won't get our money back!"
The House are cartoon villains, meanwhile the mob in The Run are action movie villains.

Former electronic farts tester here. Gotta stop you at 7:45. The game went from GDD (game design document - basic sketch/ideas for the game) to release in 6 months. That is insane, both for development and testing. We had 4 shifts, including "graveyard OT" which was from 6PM until 9AM. Bonus: the "cop" chasing Jack at 5:30 is Jack. Most of the races are front to back and back to front to shorten development time. Those are 3 more sins right there but you got the gist of it :))

Playing this game in ultra settings is even better than Payback....One of the best NFS ever....

2:27 there was a scene where Jack abandons the RS4 but it was a scrapped idea and never happened. How I know this was in the map that Jack escapes the mob was another RS4 which looked the same as the one Jack had driven to escape the mob. It’s an odd sort of Easter Egg.
Likely scrapped because they didn't have enough time to implement it properly.

Apparently there was supposed to be a tier 6 campaign for the avalanche mission and you get a achievement called (SUICIDAL) but the game was rushed you can play the avalanche mission with a tier 6 car (but you have to glitch the game a certain way just to do it). you have to drive under a big rock that falls off near the end .😱

I'm not blind. Besides our task was to escape the 5-0 that eventually you escape and everyone else gets arrested. Sure easy to pass him but not a threat.

You should have added another sin: The same ONE-77 is seen in NFS Payback and Marcus’ real name is Marcus Wier, and he’s now a gambler who the main protagonist owes for stealing his Koenigseg Regera and causing the main antagonist to try and take a casino from him

How the hell did Jack change his clothes? His clothes are different in the first Scene, on the second scene, he just changed his clothes like magic. No way he could freaking do that WHILE he is DRIVING FAST.
I think it's implied they stop to take breaks every once in a while, given the scene of Jack at the gas station in Vegas, and the Summit blasting zone. Plus, the Run looks like it took a few days to complete, and that would be hell on drivers without resting for a few hours.

well, yeah, there's no way he would just continually drive for hours without taking any breaks at all.
the point that I was trying to make was that jack's clothes just happened to magically change in the next cutscene after he finished the race, cause earlier he was wearing a t-shirt at the gas station which is fair enough, his jacket was probably already hot enough (if that's the correct word),
yet despite that, he's now back into his regular clothes, which makes it rather inconsistent.

There is actually another 911 Carrera (although it's a 991 Carrera S) and it does have a "The Run" number plate. The 997.2 Carrera 4S I believe was supposed to be in the final game, but ended up being unused.
