my goodness, I'll be making this! One thing I appreciate in watching you cook is scraping the bowl with a spatula. I watch a lot of cooking shows and I literally cringe when I see how much food people leave in a bowl! We were taught right! lol
@@memesrecipessc I don’t understand anyone fussing about what you use to cook with. I’ve seen videos where you used spoons, banged them on the edge to loosen the food attached and it wasn’t loud or annoying at all. Metal utensils make a bit of noise, but so what? It’s never been loud on your end AT ALL! Don’t worry about it; you do you, that’s what we really enjoy. I love that look on your face when you get to melt a stick of butter! Lol

You can make this using a food processor and add one whole naval orange cut in quarters instead of orange marmalade. Put it in a pretty dish and into the refrigerator until Turkey Day. It is a fabulous dish with all the hot grey, green sides with mashed potatoes. Try it! So simple. Cool cranberry relish tart and sweet and all fresh. We don't put nuts in ours. A little squirt of real whipped cream on top is delightful.😊
I see you like flowers, and not only the fresh kind. I see flowers all over your ceramic ware too. You really surprised me, Me Me. I just subscribed to your channel some hours ago, and you were making all kinds of bobos so I got the impression that you didn't know what the heck you were doing, but after watching some more of your videos, I see that nothing could be further from the truth.
I see Jiffy cornbread mix being used in so many recipes now, and I think the company is taking advantage of public demand because it is expensive now compared to what it used to cost. Not too long ago, I would see this on sale for about 35 cents, and I now see it at some stores for 79 cents.😊
This looks amazing! It's a beautiful Sunday and I have a beef roast in the crockpot and it's still going to be several hours until it's done. I'm binge watching your recipes right now and my grandkids and daughter are going to be here later. Thank you for your recipes! They give me more of a variety of things to make. God Bless you Meme ❤
Hello from VA.... Where i come from corn pudding is made without the cornbread. Its egg, corn and sugar. so i would and some sugar to this recipe. Will try this for sure. I love watching how other people cook.
How fantastic that you add orange marmalade that is so smart. I usually grate an orange and add fresh orange juice but this sounds like it’s gonna be better. I just love listening to you as I sit at home working on the computer. Thank you for all your videos. God bless you 💙
My SIL makes corn pudding just like this every Thanksgiving. He cooks bacon and breaks it in little bits adding it to the pudding before cooking. Delicious!
I have always melted my butter in the microwave but the last few times I have tried it starts and starts popping and like blowing up and going everywhere. What is up with that
I made this for Thanksgiving except I diced up and fried a few slices of bacon then did up some diced red and green bell peppers and onions in some of the bacon fat. (Looks super Christmas-y with the peppers, hint-hint) Then I added the peppers and onions to the corn batter and sprinkled the fried bacon pieces on top before putting it in the oven. It was fantastic. This is good for any time of year, I can imagine it with fresh corn and basil in the summer. This is on my regular rotation. Now I’m off to buy MeMe’s cookbook. Blessings big and small come my way every day, this channel is one of them!
How does MeMe keep her butter from sputtering in the microwave? Mine always does when I melt it and makes a big mess in the microwave...and wastes that wonderful butter!
