Thanks heaps for this! I can never really learn much in class as I find myself getting distracted and not being able to focus. I also am a quite slow learner and I usually just give up but with your video you clarified all of the questions that I would be thinking in class, to afraid to ask. Thanks for that. I have an exam on this tomorrow, i'll let you know how I went :)
The best kind of rounding. lol If you don't round up, some of your data points won't fit on the histogram. If I had left it at 5, it would have gone: 2-6 7-11 12-16 17-21 22-26 And then 27 wouldn't have fit in the histogram.
I think if you use CLASS BOUNDARY , then Histogram will be more perfect . 2-7, 8-13.... There is a gap between 7 and 8. If u use 1.5-7.5, 7.5-13.5, histogram will be perfect :)
is kind of clear but i wonder why u will round up 5 to 6 meanwhile is not decimal number?? don't get it and then when u want to count u use 5 instead of 6 so why round up then?
One of the things my daughter said is don't overthink it, just follow the guide and remember it literally is what it is. If we knew the reason why we would not need this video
Are you sure you want it to be negative? I'm unfamiliar with Class Boundaries, but here's a definition I found: Class boundaries separate one class in a grouped frequency distribution from another. The boundaries have one more decimal place than the raw data and therefore do not appear in the data. There is no gap between the upper boundary of one class and the lower boundary of the next class. The lower class boundary is found by subtracting 0.5 units from the lower class limit and the upper class boundary is found by adding 0.5 units to the upper class limit. So for example, in my histogram the GAP is 1. The boundaries would then be 1/2 of that, or .5 So if my classes are: 2-7 8-13 14-19 20-25 26-31 Then my class boundaries would be 1.5-7.5 7.5-13.5 13.5-19.5 19.5-25.5 25.5-31.5 Note that there is NO GAP between class boundaries. Also, note that if you have a gap of one, you've automatically set up a class boundary of .5 :) To toss in one more fun vocabulary word, class lower limits refer to the numbers on the left of your classes: 2, 8, 14, 20, 26. Class upper limits refer to the numbers on the right: 7, 13, 19, 25, 31.
could you help me . I have a question that all numbers from 1___5 and I want to make a histogram consist of five pars .then the width equal what .8 or 1and haw we can determined class boundary

Paranormal Black Friday I'm in algebra one in 9th grade and I understand it. Not sure why you're learning this in pre-algebra. What you have to do is optionally set your data in least to greatest. Then make a T-chart. After that, you want to see the range of the data. Once you get the range, you can decided what you want it divided by to get your amount of sets (sets as in notice his 5 intervals). You round the number of intervals up one number so if you had 5, now you have 6 (like in the video). Whatcha do next is make the lowest number go from, like lets say you had a minimum of 3, you do 3 plus the number of intervals. 3-6. Do this for all the other intervals until you reach the maximum. Now we find the frequency. See how many numbers are in 3-6, put that on your frequency. Do this for all the remaining. Now the easy part. Make a bar graph looking graph and label the x with the intervals amount. Label the y axis with the frequency. Now just plant the info onto the graph, leaving no spaces in between. I don't think this helped because I'm a week late and I wasn't as descriptive as the video guy, but I hope you do well on your EOC next year.
I learn better on youtube than in my class. .-.
TRUE!!!
kmsl
Class is mostly *sh&t* they teach a simplest of things in more than 2 months
*says in cowboy ACCENT*
tbh .
Same
Thank you very much. After I watched this video, I became the top of my class when it came to Histograms.
You just made math a whole lot easier. Thanks!
bro this is from 8 yrs ago but this thing taught me everthing i need to know Thanks!
Thank you! You saved my pathetic life!
Thanks! I was absent in class when this was taught, and this is even better than being taught by my teacher! (No offense, teacher)
Hey it's me sk nation I don't know if you remember me
Yo dude what's up I was also looking this up for class lmao 😂
+Suhpreme you comment on my vid and I recognized you
Thanks dude👍👍
Nice video thank you sir
Amazing! Well done. Thanks!!!!

Glad it helps. I have plenty of students in class in the same boat.
so, how'd it go?
Nice dude. It helped me a lot!! My professor was so fast today that I couldn't figure it out. But thanks to you.. AHH STATISTICS...........
Thanks Kanye, very cool
I dont know if its only me, but i learn better on youtube than in class. LOL.
Thank you so much, I recall what I learnt in school.. explain quite clearly.
thnx soo much got a A on my test :)
ha suer
so, amazing presentation I learn better than class
you round 5 and you get 6 ? what kind of rounding is that?
The best kind of rounding. lol

Adam Hall use the 2^k rule?
Its called Rounding Up
Emad Izadi Well I was hoping more like Statistics and probability histogram....
Did u do the 3 steps
Good job very useful ❤️❤️❤️
good one
BIG THANKS YUTE!!!

Thanks. i have got the hang of it now
youre a grade-saver thank you

Love u sir we respect u....m
Thank you so much for this!
Very helpful !
Ehhhhh Got confused so went to the answers solved all my problems highly suggest it :D
Didn't get why did you round the 5 up to 6? If you anyway used 5 as bin...
The voice reminds me of someone ... Walt Junior is that you ??
Flynn you are teaching maths now ... great !!
Straightforward and CORRECT!
U the G.O.A.T thanks
Good shit helped me a lot
Does the same rule apply with decimals?
When you add 5 to the lower boundary , you should count it ex : 2+5 = 2,3,4,5,6
came here from Ms sumter!
Very helpful. Thanks
Class boundries is not important for drawing histrogram?
Are you supposed to put them in order from least to greatest? And how do you solve 40-11
very good video, one question though, how would the histogram be different if the data points were whole numbers instead of a range? :)
Dont we need to transform the data set from inclusive to exclusive method?
my teacher taked about "Width x Height" where does that come in?
thank u mate :)
Where does bins play a role in this?
Why did you round it up to 6?
Why you round up the whole number ? It’s need necessarily?
hi. tx so much! :) like it. now i know. hehe
What are the frequency numbers?
Thank you that really helped!
Thank you, you make me understand
thank you so much!
I am told to begin with a class boundary of -0.5. How do I go about doing this?
Are you sure you want it to be negative?

why classes 5? i didn't get it. Reply asap, Thanks!
Thanks 👍 you
could you help me .
I have a question that all numbers from 1___5 and I want to make a histogram consist of five pars .then the width equal what .8 or 1and haw we can determined class boundary
Rawer, hear me bark
the series is inclusive type but histogram shows as the series was exclusive type
TY sir
Thanks for this
We have been told by teacher that histogram is applied to only class boundaries?? So your example is not a class boundary rather it is class limit..
Why round off 5 to 6?
round 5 up to 6???
If you don't round up, some of your data points won't fit on the histogram. If I had left it at 5, it would have gone:
2-6
7-11

+Adam Hall oh thanks for explaining I was wondering why even with whole numbers you had to round up :) great video
Thanks for the video and for the question..
How did you get 7?
Why arent there any class boundaries?
Thanks so much!!!!!!!
I stil don't understand how 5 was rounded up to 6.
I'm in 7th grade and I have to learn this
Thank you
Like &subscribe
Now l can help my son
I did get the round up method
every video should be provided in hindi due to some people are not capable for it
Thank you so much
thanks some much
How to calculate no of class
Thanks
why rounding to 6 ??
Keg for Pres. Because I am a savage
Sir... Why class is taken as 5 ?
divya sree allowed between 5-15 groups
Why add 6??
histograms have frequency density on the y axis. Duh
Why the hell 6??
2 + 6 is 8. Not 7.
Scale nahi likhenge , sir
I. Don't. Get. It. I'm not even _in_ algebra two I'm in 8th grade math?

Thanks anyway!
Callum Hughes Mhmm. And what, dear sir, makes you say that? I'm listening.
Callum Hughes Well you showed up here for a reason. You must have wanted help on this.
Callum Hughes I'm in 7th grade, this isn't my material. I'm learning it early- we weren't even instructed HOW to make one, let alone what one was.
thanks a lot
You missed to make class boundaries
THANKS M8
It's harder in class bruh
Wait … 2+6 is 8 …. Am I the only lost
Coco channel
Hi
FB
Thank you for time. Not helping me much.
First of all you have to clear your own mind then make a video ......please
What happens when you ask Donald Trump real questions?
lame use big numbers
