    I just used more icing sugar with the vanilla extract and it worked perfectly. Thanks! This is so much easier than chocolate then painting.

    It looks so good. thank you for the tips on the different liquids. quick q, which one would be best to do on cream cheese icing?

      I think any will work. But, Cream Cheese Frosting is not as stable, so I'm not sure how well it will work. Good luck!

    Thank you so much for your videos! If I'm using a black metallic dust (for a black drip), do I still need the clear vanilla extract or could I use regular? I was thinking the brown color wouldn't show through a black dust, but I could easily be wrong! Thanks!!

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm...I've never tried black metallic drip, sounds awesome! I would think you could use normal vanilla extract! Try it! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

    Hi, your drip videos was just what I needed! Thanks so much for that! I'm not sure if anyone has asked but I'm wondering whether I can store the unused drip. Is that possible and for how long? Thanks again!🙌🏾😊

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think the drip will store very well, I would use it and then discard any extra. ✨

    I purchased silver dust in the pump 'bottle'. Would I be ok using that kind of dust? I would take the spray top off and measure out what I'd need. Trying for a metallic look.

    Hi does the lemony extract have traces of alcohol too or is it a lemon extract without alcohol

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, lemon extract does have traces of alcohol in it, that is what makes it shine. ✨✨

    Can we use this for making painting on the cake??
    And also can we use this on chocolate ganache frosted cake

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Just don't add the powdered sugar, just add a bit of lemon extract to your lustre dust and you can paint with it. I haven't tried it on a ganache cake? But, I t would say yes. 🤗

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure if that would work, it needs to be a more stable consistency. 💕

  • @angelagiles5299
    @angelagiles5299 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Even with a thicker consistency, mine continued to run when I let it sit. I used vodka. Any ideas?

    • @chaleesebakescakes
      @chaleesebakescakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vodka tends to be a bit more runny, just add more powder sugar until you get a thicker consistency.
