Do you have a tutorial for a glittered drip? I am making my brother wedding cake and the bride wants a cake that has the a top tier that is fully glittered and the bottom tier has a drip that is glittered.
Thank you for sharing I'm doing a wedding cake end November and have been searching high and low for the technique but this right here is by far the best. A great tutorial...love it thank you
Hi thank you you are my go to person when it comes to looking for techniques making cakes. You always make the techniques look so easy and they work every time. I’ve been trying to work out how is going to make sequin cake for a wedding I was so relieved when I saw that you had a tutorial. Thanks again your cake creations are brilliant.
I have never done cake decorating before but I am going to attempt to make a cake for my2 year old grand daughters birthday. She loves sparkles. I also subscribed to your channel.
As usual your tutorials didn’t disappoint. Always Look forward to your latest ones. Love all of the techniques. Different ones for different occasions and personal tasted
so beautiful, thank you for your love in sharing your talents and amazing skills :) love it i hope you can share with us also a technique on covering the cake with roses too. thank you
Thank you for sharing your beautiful and amazing idea i super love it😍 i must try the third one since our wedding anniversary is approaching and im hoping for the beautiful outcome like yours. God bless and more ideas in baking to share with us. Thank you!
The lustre one is beautiful but you obviously have to have a flawless finish on your fondant first as it highlights every imperfection. The glitter one on the other hand would do the opposite and hide a few flaws so that one gets my vote !
U can do this on buttercream cakes. Add on the confetti sprinkles or glitter squares on dusty pink tinted buttercream (skip the glue as it attaches to the buttercream pretty well) n chill the cake really well. Lustre dust mixed with alcohol can be painted easily on a chilled buttercream cake with sequins on it, the buttercream would be firm n the sequins would also be stuck firmly to the frosting. The third one doesn’t have to be painted as u get the rose gold color from the glitters. As for the first one, I personally prefer to paint metallics directly on fondant, but it can be done directly on buttercream too, the finish would be different though! P.s- do check out other videos to see how to paint directly on buttercream surfaces! 🙂
