This edition was made possible by a South Korean company, which ran a Kickstarter-style funding event exclusive to Korea in order to make the components as amazing as you can see in this review. The Korean backer's edition comes with wooden betting chips, which more than make up for the meh-quality cardboard chips (there was the problem of being able to tell which chips had which number from the wood patterns on their backs, but the company sent out replacements free-of-charge, so that's taken care of). I'm not sure if they will include these wooden chips in the global release.
Bought this a few years ago for a decent price, figured since it was out of print I couldn't miss the chance to pick it up. I wish Vasel's law was in place back then... 'cause now I'm contemplating replacing the 2006 version with this one since it has awesome painted horses!
I've looked at the previous versions before, but never got a copy. This looks great so I will be getting a copy of this new edition, and hopefully I will find it for sale someplace.
$54 from DiceTreeGames.com +$10 shipping to the US (they are a Korean company). Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with them. Just got a used version of Winner's Circle but in hindsight wished I would have gotten the DiceTree one with the painted horses and metal(!) coins.
So, the game is not available anywhere...yet? Now? Someday? Never? This happens in these reviews frequently; awesome review and no mention of when, where, how, if...one can get it. Zee did the same thing with Hanamikoji recently. I don't care much about a review of a great game if I can't get it or never learn about a release date, do I have to get a friend in Taiwan to buy it, etc. Love the reviews but it's like hearing about a great movie or band that only the reviewer is privy to.

That coins are soooo pretty.
Painted figures and metal coins. Sounds expensive.
