Halo is a one of a kind community. Been playing since CE, though of course the funnest parts of my gaming life were 3 and Reach, like most of us. Such a creative and capable community we are, and this is what happens when you have people, new or old to the series, who care about making it better.
Halo 3 is king. You remember Halo Waypoint? when they had your profile and all your accolades and you could share with the community game clips and they had videos of the top kills and teams and top funniest glitches. Man. good times
Honestly... The fact that these are community made, still blows my mind. Although I have yet to try any of these maps, just seeing them is absolutely insane. Words can't describe how talented these people are.
GROVE was released last weekend everyone! I spent many hours bringing it to the community and I hope you all like it's unique design. Bookmark it, rate it and use it for your game nights! Love you guys!
I think it's 50/50 the player base has been heavily split on this game, the ones that stayed around are the ones keeping it alive while the ones that left have done nothing but criticize it in every minuscule detail, while refusing to try and play again. Criticism can save a game but also kill it so people aren't entirely in the wrong but I think it's the community's fault.
All 2000 of them lol I know infinite's forge is great and all, but until 343 finally polishes up the main game, it cant compete with the MCC long-term.

That skyrim one is literally perfect. I love how the forge structures arent restricted to looking uhhh... forgey. Theres actual real looking stuff from rocks to things to make buildings and actual environments. This is exactly what infinite needed from day one. Some of the maps that people are making are on par or better than a majority of 343s map designs and layouts. They also look 1000% better aestheticly. Amazing vid as always, much love.
I’ll never understand 343. Why did they get rid of Warzone? Why didn’t they ever make pelicans or phantoms flyable in multiplayer? I hate this era of trying to make games MLG status, it ruined R6: Siege

Imagine if Halo Infinite had Team Fortress 2 rules, the community can make maps, helmets, armor pieces and armor effects and whatever catches anyone's eyes they can vote and hopefully see it in game c:
Good luck. I joined the discord awhile back and while people will post games in there, 80% of them never invite you and you’re just stuck kind of waiting on discord. Or you make your own post and no one responds until hours after you are already off of halo.

If this was implemented into matchmaking and was advertised by Microsoft and 343, infinite would definitely get at least some of the player base back. But as is, only people with friends that play halo customs are affected by this. It's very unfortunate
The one thing the game needs asap, is a permanent playlest called "community" where they just put the top ten most played forge maps that week. All gamemodes included. Me and my friends just need some fun casual playlists
It's exactly as folks expected it to be. Forger's and the community is doing 343's job for them. Forger's are wildly impressive, and the forge toolkit is awesome. Props to the forge team at 343.
Constructive critic: I think it would be nice to have the names of the mapmakers appear on the screen for each map you showcase. I know you give credits in the description, but having the name pop up will make them more memorable.
Sadly I'll never be as hyped about what the community does for Infinite because everything surrounding the game is in absolute shambles not even mentioning the devs being money hungry that they've had a shop working since day 1 before fixing their game and making you pay for your spartan color. This game will forever leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Meanwhile BTB match making has like 4 small clustered maps, really hope they add BTB forge match making because it is insane how big maps can get in forge.
You know what I did... I bought a projector. I took my Halo 3 Xbox360 heroic edition out of the tin and put it in... Now we have a weekly game night with my best bros and their wives and we have a Lan/theater party. Sometimes we set the timer for 5 minutes and build on forge; other nights it's a slayer night...
