The moment when the community makes better maps than the developers themselves. And even more original. The only forest map of 343i is pale compared to this guardian remake... And it's "just" forged.
Sylvanus (aka Guardian Reimagined) plays incredibly well for 4v4, and with some sandbox changes, it could easily be a ranked map added to the game. It’s easily my favorite forge map made in this game. Maybe 343 will add it to matchmaking 🤷🏽♂️
Honestly 343 should just make a forge playlist within the mainstream gamemodes. (I’m not sure if this is already a thing, so be free to roast me in the comments)
Once water is in proper volumes I plan to make an underwater shipwreck map with air pockets that change certain physics depending if you're underwater or not.

With the respawn mechanisms thats been leaked about the upcoming br, I actually think halo could make the BR formula work well without the baggage we normally associate with BR. A lot of people seem worried that the BR will replace traditional Halo MP, and it most certainly will not. But getting a chance to roam a MASSIVE multiplayer map with some light PvE to compliment the PvP experience sounds pretty great to me
Honestly I was thinking more of a bigger btb playlist with maps like this. 32v32 since 64v64 would be out of the picture unfortunately. I wouldn’t mind a br either, idk why it’s so hated.
Wholeheartedly agree, they can maintain this game for a lot of time only with forge, but with more support from the devs like they’ve been doing this past months… this can be the ultimate halo experienc
I kinda want them to add some more of the more unorthodox maps like Phaseshift (the one where you can switch between night and day timeline) tbh Don't get me wrong I LOVE the squad battle playlist and the forge maps added have been excellent but for most of them I've already played in previous Halo games So I'd love for something new and experimental
That Guardian map is exactly what I was hoping for a lot of old 4v4 maps, a slight adjustment to accommodate for Infinite’s gameplay I still think a classic playlist would be great, classic maps, classic movement (like the CHL maps in customs) they force a classic movement on the players and it actually plays great on old maps like Guardian and Lockout

Longshore and InfiniteForge’s new Headlong remake NEED to be added to Squad Battle! They’re both stunning. That Guardian reimagining is insane as well, that should just be added to Arena it looks so much like a dev map.
Earth City is such a fun map. It's the closest I've ever felt to having multiplayer and campaign mixed, the flow to the fights as you move from place to place is sooo good. And going on a good old fashioned chase through the streets as someone takes off with the flag feels cool as fuck
Oh btw earth city isn’t based just on the halo 5 war zone map but it’s actually 5 in one that you can bookmark individually I’m pretty sure just for each section
I played with you last night on Halo Infinite and it was incredible. Earth City has to be one of the biggest maps I have ever seen, and the Longshore remake was amazing! Thank you Mint for making all these awesome videos and hosting these lobbies, it truly brings the community together!
Hopefully this all ends up in matchmaking. That big map is what I would love to see the warzone mode from Halo 5 be brought back as. Huge maps with objectives and PvEvP combat. Would be cool for battle royale as well.
Longshore was one of my favorite maps from halo 3! I'm so hyped rn. All of these maps should somehow be fit into the matchmaking line-up. BTB for the larger ones and 4v4/8v8 for the smaller ones.
Just imagine if Halo waited to release up until this point. Man, it would be crushing the charts. But I'm glad we still made it here and i cant wait to jump back in since release!
I honestly hate how the map remakes are scaled up. Sure, I get that the movement is faster but the scale just feels off. It either feels like everything is too big or you're too small.

I devised a plan that could let you get the skull in Uneeq's Longshore map into actual gameplay: First you need 2 players, each need the grappleshot, this is achievable by having the first player getting to the skull and waiting for the second player to grab it. Next, first player picks up the skull, jumps towards the ledge and drops the skull, allowing player 2 to grapple it, bringing it into the map for actual play. It counts as an oddball so you might be able to use it in normal oddball gameplay.
That thumbnail spartan looks fire asf. I think they could do what MCC did and have a Viking/mid evil themed season, maybe adding more cosmetics than MCC so it's not just asset flips.
I like practicing in academy before playing multiplayer when I’ve been away from Infinite a number of days. That guardian map is slick and the bots navigate it exceptionally well in my experience.

Why are WE putting in more effort than the schmucks who made the game? WE shouldn’t have to do this. 343i is going to take all of these maps and throw them into a hastily cobbled together playlist that only has like 2 maps in rotation. Point is, we’re doing their job.
343 need to add some earnable xp in the forge modes. Even if its capped at a 1/4 the xp you would get in multiplayer, just something to make it rewarding for the rank grind.
So I’ve been checking out halo similarly to what hiddenxperia has been doing, checking on the new season and then uninstalling after because they haven’t really been great updates, but recently I’ve been enjoying it a lot more, they updated a lot of the bugs that made it unplayable for me and some other fixes which is good. Now it’s nowhere near as good as it should be but I’ve been enjoying it more recently. Let’s hope it gets much better from here.
Someone made a comment on the subreddit but to sum up, apparently Infinite is being worked on by the same people who brought MCC back from the brink, added in the new customisation options and made MCC great and you can tell. Infinite (finally) is shaping up to be a great game.
I could be wrong on this, but i don't think the name "Earth City" is meant to be a reference to the TV show. I feel that it is a reference to the soundtrack, since one of the songs from Halo 2 is "Earth City".
When 343 talked about an improvement to btb, I imagined maps like that last city with vehicles out the wahoo. Larger lobbies and a focus on heavy vehicle gameplay.

If Infinite ever gets the Falcon finally, Earth City would be a great map for it. Players could recreate the New Alexandria level from Halo Reach

"Susurra" is a little bit similar to the underwater map "Atlantis" from Splitgate imo. Love the bioshocky art deco aesthetic.
