This is by far my favorite boss in the game. The run up to this boss, arena, music, visuals, it’s all impeccable
Seeing the painting on the wall of the house and forest in its prime before the madness took over the place and turned it into the abyssal woods was both sick as shit and sad as hell
also its just fun to play against once you learn the moveset

The abyssal woods for sure lack content, though actually having a full fletched stealth area for elden ring was pretty cool imho, it was at least supposed to be played like that.

All you gotta' do to summon Igon for the Bayle fight is to go to the Pillar Path Waypoint grace (if you haven't already) and he'll be nearby screaming in agony. Talk to him, exhaust his dialogue, and move on. Then, when at Jagged Peak, you'll find two drakes fighting. One will have a boss healthbar and the other won't. Let them fight until one dies, then finish the other off. Igon will appear and offer you his summon for when you fight Bayle. His sign will be inside the boss arena.

Midra was my second last dlc boss. The different possible playthroughs and difficulties players have is so fun to see
Yea the dlc ends up being very very easy once you have all tree fragments, even before the buff it became very doable

I'd say Midra was probably my second favorite rememberance boss. His whole design is dope, I can't wait for the lore to drop on him. Also I just beat the final boss last night, no summons. Holy shit, Jev is gonna have the time of his life.

After beating midra and messmar I think this is the best dlc ever made by fromsoftware. Sure starting was rough but it’s 10/10. I think in some aspect it’s better than base game.

If you ever consider creating a madness inspired build, one of those enemies that insta kill you in the woods has a talisman that can greatly help with it. To be able to kill them, you have to parry them first so that they become vulnerable. Afterwards, they are susceptible to damage and they don't respawn again once you kill them.
The timing of the parry can be janky, but hitting the parry as soon as the wand is around their chest area usually works. Use a buckler or a parrying dagger if parrying is not something you're that good at.
For the summon on bayle you have to complete the full quest for igon. to complete it you basically just go thru the area for bayle and talk to igon throughout the area

There’s a quest line for another remembrance boss in the blue mansion before the church of district grace of shadow keep. It’s related to the fingers and the boss is basically the mother of the hands

I've been using the other new weapon types and one new weapon that's an existing type and have been holding off on perfume bottles because of my build but man they do look like they fuck because of all the different elements they have
@jubabutler I'm not saying you shouldn't use buffs or talismans I'm saying it does alot of damage without all that stuff you can make it stronger by using talismans and buffs tho and I do know what I'm talking about because I actually use it 💀
I just realised that the Midra fight has the leitmotif from the music playing when you are jumping down past all the merchant skeletons to get to the three fingers.
Head right from the castle front grace and head up the mountain you’ll then find the summon first then the dungeon which will take you to a new area which Bayle is at.
I just beat the final boss after literally 5 hours
It took me a week to beat Radagon and Beast🫠

@FaZeJev there is a crystal tear called “crimson bubble tear” that will restore your hp to half when at low hp it’s dropped by and erdtree avatar at the mountain tops of the giants. It’s pretty clutch as it last for a long time and can often bypass a insta kill

I would suggest you do the summon quest for that boss in your second playthrough. Its an amazing boss and not worth ruining your first kill with a summon just because the va is a meme

Jev, with colossal weapons people often neglect their physical damage negation when blocking. If you have enough stamina and are preparing to roll an enemies attack you should hold block and still go for the roll. If you dodge too late then at least you take a portion of the damage from blocking the attack :D

U can parry that oneshot attack from those walking madness lanters one of them even drops a talisman. You have to parry once the torch is at the highest point. After that you can attack them.
Dude, I literally felt my skin crawl off my body during this cutscene and remember just screaming "FUCKING METAAAAL!" as loud as I could at my monitor, knowing and fully accepting that I would die immediately after it was over, in complete elation. I absolutely could not stop thinking about this fight ever since the reveal, somehow avoided all spoilers, and he DID NOT disappoint. The environment, music, and spectacle just hits a subsonically deep chord in the soul. Absolutely fucking sick shit. Still haven't beaten him btw...

Yo Jev, you can actually parry those Abyssal Watchers. You just gotta be specific with the timing. Try and aim to use the buckler's parry right as they raise their little wand to jab you, it feels super good fucking them up - and one of them actually drops a talisman (though you'd have to google the specific one.) Think it's south from the top right site of grace, Woodland Path or something like that.

on the way to Bayle you will see him screaming talk to him and then start heading towards bail and when you reach the mountain you will see 2 dragoons fighting kill both and he will be there talk to him and his summon will be at Bayle but to summon him you have to go in the boss fight and it will be right there

REALLY wish more people would at least attempt to use some of the new DLC weapons for their playthroughs. Literally every playthrough I've seen so far people still just using whatever weapons they finished the base game with. Either duel katanas, Greatsword, Giant Crusher or Star Fist. Like bro there are some sick new weapons, A few of which are damn near broken they are so good, Def worth trying out, Super fun to use.

if you press the heavy attack button twice when doing a jumping heavy, another heavy will be buffered on landing. its pretty annoying but once you know the issue it can be worked around. i dont think this was an issue prior to the dlc patch

Jev I dont want to spoil anything so i will try to be vague but for the next remembrance boss you need to go to the big church below the shaman village, there is a guy there that starts a questline. He gives you a key that you can take to the finger places and after the second one go back to his chair at the church. This should lead you to the next boss.
1. Go to a cross where blue petals bloom and head to shore.
2. Seek left for a very big whistle embedded between fingers.
3. Further down from a smaller tree you shall find the second whistle.
Once you’ve done these steps exhaust the dialogue of both a man on a throne and a sharp tongued lady and then rest. Only then shall remembrance appear.
Doubt that you’ll read this but, who knows, you might find this as a useful and somewhat “fun” way to find the boss without it being to obvious 😅

Theres a dragon communion quest for Bayle to get Igon summon and the Ymir quest unlocks Metyr, Mother of Fingers (another remembrance boss)

20-30 MIN ELDEN RING VIDEOS AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!
In order to find bayle summon, must find the NPC on the ground yelling. He is near the PIllar Path Way Point Grace. Once You talk to him continue towards the the path where dragon statues are. You'll find the way to dragon's bit and there the way to bayle. kill the dragons on the way and youll find two dragon's fighting. Kill the boss dragon and youll find the NPC from before. Talk to him and you will get his summon sign for when you fight bayle.
the soundtrack is so eerie and godly in that boss fight.
Jev the blade of mercy talisman gives you 20% damage buff to crit hits and is found in the scorched ruins I think it would help your bonk build
