NH35 is in such abundance that any repairs are a little bit cheaper due to the huge availability of spare parts. Not that I have ever had to have anything with an NH35 repaired yet.
San martin is getting better no doubt about it. I love the shark and this is the way of using it, in the caseback. The s logo in the crown is ok but they have to put the hex logo there too. Great review btw, greetings from Colombia
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. They're releasing a Rolex OP colour dials homages and on then they'll use the hex logo on the crown. I'm really looking forward to getting one of those. The Tiffany dial looks especially nice.
I’ve seen varying opinions on this watch, but I find it to be quite appealing. I too like orange and red on my watches, so that probably helps me like this one. Excellent, thorough review. Thank you!
i have so many microbrand and chinese NH35 powered watches in my collection it is actually a benefit to me that it uses a more “basic” movement because this way i know how to regulate it myself and i can always harvest a watch for parts if i have to
and it's started... I'm now in the game for more San Martin... That one is really nice, moreover I think it's 100% an original design (or at least no watch I know is being hommaged here). I wish they would have chosen another crown logo (a shark would have matched caseback). One thing I noticed is Japan NH35 is mentionned on the engraving. Does that means other watches use Tianmandu NH35? Great review!
Hi Marc-Albert. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed watching the video. Also thank you for your comment as it seems I'm about to learn something new. I've never heard about "tianmandu nh35". Could please explain whats the difference?
I have a observation about this watch.its not the finishing or design or even the movement but the different logos ,I don't want to take away your excitement about this watch but I think is something to be mention, great review and enjoy your watch in good health. :)
Hi, I sold it 2 weeks ago simply because I didn't like the idea of owning 50 watches 😅. I didn't experience any problems with it. It's a wonderful watch.
@@TheBoldHairspring understandable. Its unique but boring at the same time. That whats holding me from purchasing it when it release last year. Just hoping there's a V2 or something. If there are any. Thanks.
@@TheBoldHairspring I see, how would it compare to a 40mm sub? It just seems big, however I can't explain exactly what. Nice review btw, nice that you include your wrist size!
Probably it will have more wrist presence due the design and the brighter colours but it will wear about the same. I'm not sure if that's of any help 😬.
@@TheBoldHairspring Thank you, it does help. The design may and color may be more of an eye catcher, but that is what I'm going for. Need a nice summer watch! This seems sporty, and with it being a original design it helps!
Hi mate, San Martin focuses on homage watches because they sell a ton of them. Their original designs don't seem to get the same level of attention which is a real shame. Of this one I think they've sold only 40-50 pcs so far.
@@TheBoldHairspring i recognize the skx-ish 4 o’clock crown but i have never seen a seiko 5 that looks as good as this, with screwed lugs at that. i spent an extra $14 to get the grey-with-an-orange stripe nato strap. and i got a discount with your code :)
@@JinKee Very nice! I've been looking at that strap as well. The erika style one, right? Would appreciate if you send me a photo of the watch with that strap once you receive them 🙏.
Also good to see San Martin starting to do original designs.
Totally agree as they're definitely a capable manufacturer.
Just received mine today. Blown away by that beautiful dial and San Martin’s quality
Hi Rohan, yeah it's a very nice. Enjoy wearing it 👏🏻
Just ordered one!! Im 50 years old and jusr now learning about and gettin into mechanical watches!!
Thank You from Denver NC
You're welcome Andrew. I'm sure you'll enjoy wearing this one. If there's anything I can help you with send me a DM in Instagram.
@@TheBoldHairspring Awesome ..Many Thanks!!
This is the one I've been looking for...Gonna pull the trigger; thanks for the review.
You won't be disappointed. It's a great watch. Thanks for watching 😊
Very nicely done piece by them, there's definitely a lot to like about it but wish they brushed the sides instead of having them high polish.

Picked this one up. Very well made case & bracelet as you point out. Fun color combination to wear. Really like it.
Congrats on your new watch. Yeah, it pretty great. Enjoy wearing it.

Thank you Cecil Yau, glad you enjoyed watching the video. The colors play a huge role for me.
Thanks for the video. I just bought mine on ebay for $183 can't wait to get it!
You're welcome. 183usd is a great deal.
Great deal!
Wish it was available with a highbeat 9015 or PT5000.

Same
I fail to see why that makes any difference whatsoever other than the beat rate the nh35 is as reliable bad a wood burning stove
Great watch, great review! Thank you bro
Really appreciate it mate. Happy you like it.

I discovered this one and the other new original design San Martin and both of them look great. I'll probably get them once I have some money
You won't regret it.

Thank you. Personally it doesn't bother me but you're right. They need to be a bit a more consistent with the logos.
Great looking watch
Maybe san martin need to offer more color for this model it will good for them
Agree. Some mainstream colors will definitely attract a lot of attention.
I love those engineered style bracelets. The watch looks ok but probably not my favourite from them. Thanks for showing us this one 👍
Beautiful watcht and video...thank you...
Thank you for watching 👏🏻
Y need this but with calendar
How has it hold after 9 months. Appreciate if u could share your experience. Do u still owned it?

I love this watch, except for the polished surface finishes. Personally I strongly prefer brushed
In general I prefer brushed too but the polished surfaces on this one don't look bad.
How does it compare in size on the wrist with the sub homage? Been considering this model, however I think it look so big in the pictures of it.
Hi, It's smaller than the sub homage. It wears much better. The sub homage is 42mm but this one is 40mm in diameter.

Looks like San Martin sawed off the sides of an Omega Seamaster Ploprof
You may have a point 😬
I actually quite like this one and tend to rule out San Martin due to being a bit to homage-centric for me. Thanks for the vid!

Nice watch. Very good specs for a reasonable price.
is this an original design?
holy shit it is original. i’m getting one

Very nice but only suitable for smaller wrists shame really....
