This kit looks legit. Fit, Finish and FUN. The Daily Wear on the black kit was originally concerning. WAS. Great video and I think it's definitely worth the money to upgrade such a CAPABLE watch!

I bought this watch five days ago. It came not working. Sent email to Phoibos. They said let it rest for two or three days then wind it 50 times. Then wear it for at least 8 hours a day. I did that. The second hand started then stopped, then after shaking softly the second hand started to move. I was smart enough to know not to remove the protective film on the bracelet or caseback because if you do they will not accept it if you decide to return it. It was sneaky and dishonest advice by them to tell me to wear it because most people will not wear it with the protective film, thereby cancelling their ability to return it. Here is a direct quote from their return policy: "The customer is responsible for the return shipping. Once we receive it back and verify it is unworn, the return will be processed and a full refund will be issued. If check watch is worn, will charge 50-200 USD handling fee". I sent them another email stating that it was gaining 5 minutes an hour. They said I could return it or exchange it. Here is where it gets worse. I would have to pay to return it to Hong Kong which would cost me around $20 for a watch that was sent to me not working. Then, I found this in the return section of their online Phoibos webpage: "Please note that the full refund excludes the extra shipping fee for DHL, FedEx, EMS and other commercial express." So, long story short; if you receive a DEFECTIVE watch from this company be prepared to pay for return shipping AND their initial shipping cost will be deducted from your purchase price.

Two deal breakers: you can't see the hour jump and you can't read the time 24 times a day.

You mean the SN019 is a real sub homage... I mean that SN017 has such a big bezel it's nowhere near a Rol. And the SN019 has ball bearing vs ratchet on SN017, same as the sub. Otherwise, I prefer Sugess or Cronos for cheaper and Glide Lock clasp.

This isn't the SN017, it is the SN017-B which is the cheaper line with push pins and a different bracelet and clasp, they still sell the SN017 and it is more expensive. Both are great but they are different.

I absolutely love San Martin and own many of their watches but in my opinion Cronos makes the best Submariner homage.

I know it sounds crazy but I totally agree about the bezel action. I also have a planet ocean and the 300m san Martin and hands down the san Martin is a far superior action 🤯

I have 5 Astron's, a couple Attesa's and Casio's. Absolutely love the Attesa's, so comfortable to wear and my perceived size on the wrist seems smaller than the Astron's.
