Was almost 13 at the time and to my surprise - we're talking Europe, early 90s, a few good channels via cable, that's it! - broadcasted it and even did some reruns. My parents got nuts with my VHS recording for months. 😅 To this day one of the best live performances imho. 🙌

Now watch out for children. There were over 1.5 million people in this legendary concert. Why was there so much energy in all the bands? The Cold War was over, the Soviet Union, the armament of the two superpowers, the fear of a nuclear war was finally history and mankind was full of hope. (We all know how it looks in the world again today ...) At this concert everyone had the feeling that everything had to be taken out at once.
