Available fish will be listed on my TM Aquatics storefront, located on the Get Gills Market place. I hope to start selling and shipping within the new 2-3 weeks. Please do not email asking this same question. See details in the description for more information.
Be careful with Plecs swimming into the Seachem filter I've lost some very nice L260, L397 and sadly a 46 and a 306 courtesy of this I had the media in a filter bag and the fishes spines got entangled and they died.
I was just scrolling and came across your page..I am obsessed with corydoras..you're my new best friend 🤣..setting up 2 more community tanks...now I know where to get my new corydoras
Great Video. I was able to fit Aqua Clear 70s on my 75G by simply taking a sharp utility knife and cutting away the thin lip where a lid would lay along the rear rim, just cut it off the length of where I wanted the filters to go and they fit great.
Someone suggested that on a Facebook forum, but I didn’t want to void the warranty on three new tanks before I even had water in them. The Seachem Tidals are a great filter and my Aqueon warranty is still valid 👍
I’m always excited to see a new fish room tour from you! You have an Impressive set up sir. I’m anxiously waiting for you to open your get gills store for the season…I definitely need to add some of your genetics to my humble but growing fish collection. Thanks for sharing 👍💕
Hi Tom, Loved the video and of course, just as always, very amazed. I enjoyed your thoughts on the HOB filters, and although I try to avoid them to avoid water spills, I know the flow in the tank is important. Hadn't heard or seen that new brand, however, I too favor the Aquaclears. I do run one of those on the 40G polishing tank for the GBRs. You mention the L-471's and that's exactly the plecos I have. The other day everyone guessed something slightly different, but it turns out that they are the dwarf variety. No action with them yet. Mine are still maturing. The 60B seem to be a really great tank and what I would say about them is that with a stand and stacked three high, they give you more space above for access as well. I didn't hear you mention that benefit. Great looking tank. Wish I had a dozen of those. Thanks again for the great video!
Yes, the extra flow from the HOB’s is appreciated by the plecos (but not necessary), but the primary benefit is it helps keep the substrate cleaner. They also serve as redundancy for bio filtration in case my central air pump decides to stop working. Thanks for stopping by and watching.
@@TMAquatics That's a great point. I have seen your tanks so SPOTLESS, that that's no doubt the contributing reason why. I will try to include some of that design in my pleco tanks.
Amazing fishroom, and breeding projects Tom! 👍🏼 I just got my hands on a breeding group of 7 Corydoras black Venezuelan as well yesterday! So excited to grow them out!
Wow Tom your fishroom is so clean and beautiful I cant imagine hoe hard you work on all your tanks, great job man. Love all the baby fish everywhere Wow they have been busy breeding for you. The new tanks look awsome that's a lot of room you need. Thanks for the update and I hope you can move those babies. The Black Diamonds look great i still have the one with c.adolphoi they have about 4 babies which I'm happy to see. Thanks💙✌🌿🌿🌿
Thanks Eddy. I spend about 1 hour per day (M-F) average, and that’s to feed. Water changes are on the weekend, and on those days it’s maybe 2 hours each day. I don’t use high lights or allow the tanks to get out of balance. In fact, I don’t even keep lights on the pleco tanks except when I’m in the fish room or making videos. So they stay relatively algae free and clean. Having a couple bushynose plecos in each tank doesn’t hurt either 🤣 Some days of course I spend much more time taking inventory, picking Corydoras eggs, deep cleaning filters, etc. but those are the exceptions.
Hello just came upon you're channel and much thanks for all the valuable info! Just got my first pleco from Dan's fish, a mini snowball. Hope to do right by this beautiful little creature :)
Great video....I have been designing a 60g rack as well and then I came across your video. Yours look awesome. I assume you did a dado cut/build on those tanks. do you have any videos on your building of the 60g rack?
The new 60 breeders are interesting, but what we REALLY need in a new tank size is 47 (dot zero) by 17 (dot zero) by some height ... so the tanks fit on std heavy-duty metal storage racks you can buy a gazillion places. Must be SHORTER than a 48" shelf, not inconveniently some portion of an inch too long to fit. Could be even a bit less long, like 44", so that you put a HOB on the short edge. Nice looking fish and tanks !!!
Those pre filters are just like co op sponge filters, they do indeed hold a lot of crap, BUT when you go to take it out and clean it, ALL the crap it sucked up, comes right back out in the tank. That’s why I switched back to normal sponge filters, easier to clean and make less of a mess when taking out. I don’t have time to put a plastic bag over my 100+ sponge filters either
I was so happy to hear about the 60 Breeder size, but was disappointed it's not as tall as the 40. I actually just bought another 40, and 75. The 60 just needs to be taller! No idea why they would make it even shorter when the 40 has been such a popular size for years.
@@TMAquatics no way that is gutting mate. Hopefully in the future you get more and have some success with them. How are you getting on with the corydoras eques? I'm looking into getting some but have seen the way people breed them and it's not like most of them I'm hoping you have success with them to as they are my favourite cory out of all of them
I love the aqueon 60 breeder tanks, great footprint, and I like the shallower depth, makes maintenance a bit easier. I just wish petco would include it in the 50% sales they have.
with all due respect you cannt call a bristlenose pleco as duckweed most of the pleco breeders started there journey with bristlenose plecos ... god bless you 🙂

Tom your fishroom is truly incredible! Very great job you are doing sir.💯⭐️
Thanks
Love all the corydoras! Those C. Eques are stunning!!!
Great tour, and your pre-filter sponge use regarding maintenance seems spot on. God bless.
Thanks
Real nice set up

I’m excited to see when the corys become available. Thanks for the tip in the sponge filter, pre-filter!
Love your videos as always..
Thank you
Great tour. Always learn something new from your videos. I recommend the l236 SW or RB lines for your new tanks all the best!
Thanks
Great video. I would like to see you do a feeding video of the fish room. Thanks 👍
Good Stuff Bro....Inspired.... hailing from Barbados....Hoorah!!
Great memories of Barbados. Been there a few times. Lovely place.

Canadian Tire sells a heavy duty 3 tier rack that holds 2500 pounds per shelf and is 54" length 24" wide. Damn ugly and strong.

Your fishroom is spectacular...I have one question where do you the large driftwood?I'm looking and looking but I've had no luck.
Your tanks are super clean. By the way can you please mention the links to buy those pleco caves.
Thanks. I buy most my caves from plecocaves.com
Great update Tom. Loved it and all the quality fish you have. Do you still have your chameleon whiptail?
I do not. Lost a few to a bacterial infection and sold the rest. I’d like to try again someday when I can dedicate more time and space to them.

you sure have a nice fishroom. i haven't seen a 60 breeder in a store around me yet. really interested though.
Awesome thank and fish! Those look like albino Geophagus to me but they are awesome! Nice breeding programs
You have some really good looking fish. I was just wondering what kind of sand substrate do you use?
Thanks. Pool filter sand from Menards. $9 for 50 lbs.

Agreed. I want to say I got 15% off by ordering online and picking up. One of my LFS has them for $129. 👍
TM Aquatics $129 is a decent price for the 60 breeders!🙂
Love the video Tom Tim australia
Those look like some pretty quality boesemani :)
I got them from a sketchy source, but they turned out okay 🤣🤣🤣😉👍
@@TMAquatics super, super sketchy 🤣😅. Glad you are having success with them!
What size heater are you using on your 60g breeders? I'm about to buy one, but was wondering about heating the thing! Thank you for the video!
150w Eheim heaters with Inkbird heater controllers.
@@TMAquatics Thanks! I was curious abou the proper wattage, since this has unusual dimensions. I appreciate your videos!
I can’t find Aqueon 60 gallon breeder tanks anywhere and it’s so frustrating
Do you still breed honeycomb catfish?
I have about 20 in one of the 75’s, but they are no longer a focus for me. Great fish though.
How much for your barbedidas? Lol if that's how you spell it!!! Let ne know Sir. Very intrested in a couple. Thank you HF e a great weekend!!! 🐟🐠👍😁
I sell the 1.5” juvies for $10 ea.
@@TMAquatics I will be keeping in touch. Thank u sir!!!! 🥰
What size lids for the new tanks?
I cut my own with 6mm twinwall polycarbonate.
