I came across this song watching cold case one day and it was played in the ending that particular episode and I just had to Google it to see who was singing it and fell in love with it. This just happened last year and I love it. The group Toque does and excellent version as well. I think both groups are from Canada!! There's 2 versions of this on YT, I believe this one is studio dubbed over the live. The live version he doesn't do that sustained note, although he does hit some pretty high notes at the end. Regardless, Freddy was an amazing vocalist. You should listen to some of his Alias stuff, there's some live on YT (More Than Words Can Say, Haunted Heart). Just love him.
That note was not enhanced. In fact, he could have held it longer. The tone of his voice went higher the longer he held it, giving the impression of some kind of reverberated effect, however it’s not the case.
