Miljenko Matijevic is his name . They came along about the time the music scene was changing . He was also hurt at a concert where something from the rigging fell and hit him in the head !! It set the band back while he was recovering ! Never really made it big , but the people that heard them , remembered them !! They did the music for the movie Rock Star . Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston were in it . Miljenko and Steelheart are still performing .
If I’m not mistaken the accident happened while he was opening for Slaughter. He jumped up on some rigging that hadn’t been secured and it fell hitting him. He left the stage and went to the hospital. The rest is history. History that is still being written today! Check out “you got me twisted” and many others!
Steelheart was the first band I ever saw at a small venue when they passed through Akron, OH. in the early 90's. They were just barely on the radio at that point, and this song was their hit. I can still smell the fog machine in my memories, lol. His voice was outstanding in the "hair metal" genre.
Before they changed their name to Steelheart, they were called Red Alert and they played in the Ct. rock clubs where Milli would peel they paint off the walls with that voice.
Britt this is what is known as a power ballad , a ballad with a harder rocking edge. Watch the offical music video for this song , he hold some notes a little longer.
I was just going to recommend this but thought I better check first, glad I did. Love your reaction, as always. You're the best! As others have already mentioned, please look up his accident while performing, it really cut his career short. Such an amazing rock voice!
This is my favorite Steelheart tune. 90's band with talent at the end of the rock era. If they were around 10 years earlier, we would all know their tunes.
Steel heart!!! My band! Way back when I bought their album cassette. I listened to every song every word repeatedly. She’s gone was a favorite. Was sad I never got more. 😢 can’t believe you’re reacting to them 😊. Btw your hair looks great!❤
Finally....I suggested this to you a LONG time ago!!!! You need to watch the Official Video of this song for the true PDC on steroids effect!! LOL Check out the song "She's Gone" for a over the top beautiful passionate vocal performance of a lifetime.
Sebastian was amazing, still is actually at his age now even. Steelheart was on a meteoric rise, crazy fast. Stage scaffolding fell on him and he nearly died and it derailed the whole band obviously as he had a long hard road to recovery.
Lol!! Mili was in the PDC before it was invented, even back in the day, ladies would melt over him and this song!! Heck I had a crush and I'm not even close to being a woman lol!!
80s music, songs, prettyboy singers, and amazing vocals. It'll never come back, but 80s lives forever! Like Ratt, bulletboys, Vandenberg, whitesnake, Warrant, Kingdom Come, Triumph, Slaughter, and others! Dude is in his late 50s and can still hit the high notes! The bulletboys lead singer hits the same high notes but with gravel! Check out, Smooth up in ya! Damn shame he almost died on tour in 92, but dang 8n the movie Rockstar with Mark Whalbe4g 8n 2000, and still sings and tours and even does classical music and he's damn good as ever! Dude can sing in damn near 6 octaves 😮😮
This is my favorite Steelheart song. If you like his range then you need to check out Stryper a Christian metal band from the 80’s that are still making music and touring some.
Mili is unmatched from this . Many have tried . Some did ok. But he is one of one. So many songs you could listen to. She's gone is a master class, Can't stop loving you, Everybody loves Eileen. But if you want a current banger his version of hallelujah is not to be missed. Mili definitely deserves to be in the PDC. Ecstatic you reacted to this and can't wait to see you so others of the band. The vocals, the guitar and the drums make Steelheart legendary.
"This man's vocals are out of control." You have no idea. LOL Check out She's Gone, the live, unplugged version. Just him and a pianist. Plus check out Everyone loves Eileen.
I think a LOT of us were in love. Miljenko's vocals make me want to weep they're so beautiful. A great one from Steelheart is Sheila, the live version. I think it may even be from the same session as this one.
I drive truck have xm radio listen to hairnation heard this song first thing I thought of is you need to react to it,I'm glad you did thanks. Your reaction was what I thought it would be.
You should check out Steelhearts "She's Gone" and "Can't Stop Me Loving You". Also check out Tommy Johansonn from Majestica. He sings a cover of "She's Gone" almost just as well as Miljenko..
It was a tragic injustice when light rigging fell and struck him severly injuring him. It messed up his voice and he was no longer able to hit the high notes as a result. Had it not happened they would have surely gone on to being one of the big acts of the time. "She's Gone" is his other notable track to hear.
The Range Planet says he has a 3 Octaves + 6 Semitones range, so his range is not very much. His range in the high registers is awesome, but not overall range.
No tape, no auto-tune, no fake pansy pop. In real music, the voice is an instrument just like a guitar or bass.
Miljenko Matijevic is his name . They came along about the time the music scene was changing . He was also hurt at a concert where something from the rigging fell and hit him in the head !! Great song and vocals....but Grunge was taking over..and men became morose, self-doubting and.. progressively weaker.
Love them.
Truly a shame this era came to a halt.. This band is truly a lost gem all round..
If I’m not mistaken the accident happened while he was opening for Slaughter. He jumped up on some rigging that hadn’t been secured and it fell hitting him. He left the stage and went to the hospital. The rest is history. History that is still being written today! Check out “you got me twisted” and many others!
From NORWALK CT!
She's Gone Unplugged definitely a must. ALWAYS love your reactions on everything!!

Awesome! Rocks greatest vocalist! The official video is even better! Their songs “She’s Gone”, and “Can’t Stop Me Lovin’ You” are equally awesome!
Don't forget Everybody loves Eileen and Sticky side up!!
Steelheart was the first band I ever saw at a small venue when they passed through Akron, OH. in the early 90's. They were just barely on the radio at that point, and this song was their hit. I can still smell the fog machine in my memories, lol. His voice was outstanding in the "hair metal" genre.
This was a poweballad I loved it back in the day he did the vocals for the movie Rock Star
She’s gone unplugged is one of his best
Real music.... LIVE!!!! 100% talent
Before they changed their name to Steelheart, they were called Red Alert and they played in the Ct. rock clubs where Milli would peel they paint off the walls with that voice.
Never knew, thanks
They Are From My City, Norwalk, CT. They Used To Rehearse Downtown.
I always hear this guy had incredible range….insane.
Britt this is what is known as a power ballad , a ballad with a harder rocking edge. Watch the offical music video for this song , he hold some notes a little longer.
Yes, you definitely have to do "She's gone"!
Milli had a voice that was not of this world! It was a shame about his accident but he recovered and he sings great to this day!
Correction.. you mean end of glam rock era. Rock still exists today
Watch She's Gone Acoustic Live. Then decide if he belongs in the pdc. It won't take long.
Steel heart!!! My band! Way back when I bought their album cassette. I listened to every song every word repeatedly. She’s gone was a favorite. Was sad I never got more. 😢 can’t believe you’re reacting to them 😊. Btw your hair looks great!❤
It's crazy to think that it's gone 34 years since the release of this song.
Miljenko Matijevic is the singer ....Enjoy you Sunday ❤❤❤
Thank you 🖤
I’m so happy This Song was Brought to us❤🎉
It's about time you listen to steelheart
glad you went with a live version; they sounded just like that when I seen them in concert 1990 sawyer point Cincinnati Ohio.
I would consider this a power ballad. 😊
Me: not live please....me a few moments later: live is fine..
This is the true rock star
Everybody Loves Eileen should be next
He's got such a range. She's Gone Unplugged is impressive. Piano and his voice. That's it. He even is chewing gum, while singing it. Lol
This is my favorite steelheart sing, but i love " sticky side" too.
oh kiddo, this man could SING! all he’s lived through after the stage accident
Live no autotune back at that point. Lord…the range
His name is Miljenko Matijevic... definitely check out "She's Gone" which was their other top hit... His voice was (still is) something special.
Miljenko Matijevic. Best rock voice of all time. You gotta do the unplugged version of She's Gone. It will blow your mind for weeks to come lol
She’s Gone, enough said🤟
Great band! Nice song!
Finally....I suggested this to you a LONG time ago!!!!
You need to watch the Official Video of this song for the true PDC on steroids effect!! LOL
Check out the song "She's Gone" for a over the top beautiful passionate vocal performance of a lifetime.
I’ll check it out 🖤
Omgoodness, yes! Def need the official video for his signature moves. Mili is amazing.@@brittreacts
Sebastian was amazing, still is actually at his age now even. Steelheart was on a meteoric rise, crazy fast. Stage scaffolding fell on him and he nearly died and it derailed the whole band obviously as he had a long hard road to recovery.
yeah... "Shes gone" is a must +1 to the suggestions
Lips of Rain is a great example of his more recent work, his voice is still pretty great.
one of mine favourite songs of all time
Lol!! Mili was in the PDC before it was invented, even back in the day, ladies would melt over him and this song!! Heck I had a crush and I'm not even close to being a woman lol!!
Welcome to the world of the true rock ballad!
Other good songs by Steelheart are "Can't Stop Me Loving You", "Everybody Loves Eileen" and "Mama Don't You Cry".
Yay!! You finally found them!! “She’s Gone” original video is FIRE TOO!!🥰♥️🔥
80s music, songs, prettyboy singers, and amazing vocals. It'll never come back, but 80s lives forever! Like Ratt, bulletboys, Vandenberg, whitesnake, Warrant, Kingdom Come, Triumph, Slaughter, and others!

You'll like she's gone live his voice is awesome
This is my favorite Steelheart song. If you like his range then you need to check out Stryper a Christian metal band from the 80’s that are still making music and touring some.
Steelheart and Stryper is my favorite band
His voice is mostly what you heard in the movie rockstar...
Stand up and Shout!!
She's gone unplugged is the next adventure you should take
You should react to his acoustic version of "Sheila" to see a more playful and yet very powerful performance.
Should've watched the official video studio version tho, you missed out. It's perfection.
He still hits those notes to this day, even after the accident
Beyond Awesome 🔥

Love
Yes he does girl!!!!
You are so right ❤
Mike (or Miljenko) Matijević is a helluva singer with amazing pipes. I think he's originally from Croatia. Great reaction!
Thanks for the info!
I think a LOT of us were in love. Miljenko's vocals make me want to weep they're so beautiful. A great one from Steelheart is Sheila, the live version. I think it may even be from the same session as this one.
I'll check it out!
He is IMHO one of the greatest rock frontmen…ever. I can’t breathe by the time he’s finished.😰😂. Another great reaction😁👍👏👏
He also sang most of the songs on the Rock Star soundtrack.
You should also check out Giuffria Call to the Heart.
90% of the glam rock era weren't very good live. They had a lot of studio magic. Steelheart never disappointed. In fact, they're still doing it.
Need to check out she's gone unplugged
I believe his vocal ability and she’s gone I like it better
You need to react or watch
Rock Star
Mark Wahlburg
Jennifer Aniston
Steelheart music
Incredible vocals
Next song "She's Gone" aqustic version❤ Lovely reaction.
I drive truck have xm radio listen to hairnation heard this song first thing I thought of is you need to react to it,I'm glad you did thanks. Your reaction was what I thought it would be.
B: "A pleasant surprise, if you will"
B: Face scrunch.
I love the fact you do mostly live stuff, but dang it, the official video for this song was the way to go. If you think this was amazing......
Check out skid row "I remember you"
Oh yes, 🙌 another great rock song and Sebastian Bash sang the hell out of that song 🎶Skid Row did the right thing when they made him lead singer🤟
Check out a band called Firehouse....
Shake n Tumble
Don't Trea Me Bad
All She Wrote
You gotta listen to steelheart
She's gone the original long version
he litterally does it live and pretty dam close to it now at 60 as will
my favorite steelheart song is Mama don't you cry
He sings really high for a lady 😊
It’s my first time hearing this band
Miljenko absolutely belongs in the PDC
His name is Miljenko Matijevic
He started as an opera singer like many of them did.
You know it!
By soft rock, you mean 'power ballad'. James Taylor is soft rock. Love you!
Great Glam Rock met him many time as a DJ for ZROCK
😊
You should check out Steelhearts "She's Gone" and "Can't Stop Me Loving You". Also check out Tommy Johansonn from Majestica. He sings a cover of "She's Gone" almost just as well as Miljenko..

Had it not happened they would have surely gone on to being one of the big acts of the time. "She's Gone" is his other notable track to hear.
React to the music video or react to She's gone unplugged. Then again listen to MILJENKO MATIJEVIC - HALLELUJAH - that's the lead singer.
Singer was on king of the masked singers also
You should listen to Love ain't easy.
It's another monster of a song.
It's called a Power Ballad. 😊
Is register is insane, believe it or not they didn’t get them recognition like most 80s hairbands
rock ballad
He's name: Miljenko Matijevic
The official video is alot better
More rock from the 80’s please.
Seen them live at a club
Awesome!!
Miljenko Matijevic huge voice with an incredible range of 8 octaves if I recall, his range is in line with Sebastian Bach from Skid Row
The Range Planet says he has a 3 Octaves + 6 Semitones range, so his range is not very much. His range in the high registers is awesome, but not overall range.
Now you must react to Queensryche “Take Hold of the Flame” in Tokyo 1984 live…you’ll love it !!!
